ZEE5 Telugu Original series 'Room No. 54', Presented by Tharun Bhascker, to stream from May 21st

 




Hyderabad, 17th May, 2021: ZEE5, the only OTT platform, has been catering to the varied tastes of its Telugu patrons with original web series, direct-to-digital releases, films and more. Last year, the biggest political thriller 'Chadarangam', the universal comedy 'Amrutham Dvitheeyam', the sports drama 'Loser', and the crime-action original 'Shoot-Out At Alair' received widespread appreciation and reception.


This year, ZEE5 is back with a new web series, titled 'Room No. 54', which is presented by Tharun Bhascker, who directed the National Award-winning 'Pelli Choopulu' and the new-age 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi'. The web series, which will exclusively stream on ZEE5 from May 21.

The web series is set in the backdrop of an Engineering college and tells the story of four Engineering students who stays in a hostel. Their room (which is numbered 54) has got a unique feature. Whoever stays in the room ends up developing a special bonding with someone from the subsequent batch. What kind of issues do the four guys living in the room face? How do they overcome them? That is the rest of the story.

Moin as Venkat Rao, Krishna Prasad as Yuvaraj, Pawan Ramesh as Prasanna and Krishna Teja as Babai will be seen in this web series. Swetha and Navya have played key roles. Several famous actors will be seen in guest roles.

Speaking about 'Room No. 54', Tharun Bhascker said, "Due to the pandemic, youngsters are missing their college. I too miss my college days. Especially, Backbench students must be missing their college days more. Memories related to college days are for a lifetime. At a time when we are cooped up at home due to the pandemic, our web series is going to keep you all engaged with an interesting story. From May 14th, 'Battala Ramaswamy Biopic' started streaming on ZEE5. This is yet another original film from ZEE5 Telugu. From May 13th, Salman Khan-starrer 'Radhe' (Hindi) started streaming on ZeePlex.

Apollo Hospitals to Administer Sputinik V Vaccines in Collaboration with Dr Reddy's In Pilot Program

 





 

Hyderabad, May 17, 2021: Apollo Hospitals (Apollo), Asia's foremost integrated healthcare services provider and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories (Dr. Reddy’s), a leading Indian multinational pharmaceutical company today announced the launch of a limited pilot program for the Sputnik V vaccine as part of the soft launch by Dr. Reddy’s in India. The first phase of the program will kick-off with vaccinations in Hyderabad on Monday (May 17, 2021) and in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday (May 18, 2021) at separate facilities at the Apollo Hospitals in those cities. The vaccinations would follow the SOPs as recommended by the Government including registration on CoWIN.

We are confident that with the Sputnik V vaccine, we will be able to make a significant contribution to ease availability and access to COVID vaccines to the community at large.”

The Sputnik V vaccines for the pilot program would be supplied by Dr. Reddy’s from the first batch of 1,50,000 vaccine doses imported by them for the soft launch. After Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam, the pilot program will be extended to Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Pune.

Shankara Jayanthi Observed in Sri Venkateswara Vedic Varsity

 




Tirupati, 17 May 2021: On the auspicious occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Jagadguru Sri Shankaracharya, special puja was performed in Yagashala of Sri Venkateswara Vedic Varsity premises in Tirupati on Monday.

 

The fete commenced with the introductory remarks by Vedic exponent Sri Prava Ramakrishna who said Sri Shankaracharya dedicated his entire life in the promotion and preservation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma and preached Advaitha philosophy to the world of Bhakti. 

 

Later the ritual started with Sankalpam, Ganapati Puja by Vedic scholars Sri GV Subramanya Sharma and Dr GV Phaniraja Shastry under the supervision of SV VU Vice-Chancellor Sri Sannidhanam Sudarshana Sharma.

 

Sri Shankaracharya Puja performed which included Astottara Shatanamavali, Padukabhishekam etc. amidst chanting of Chaturveda Parayanam by Veda pundits. 

 

The entire spiritual event was live telecasted by Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel of TTD for the sake of global devotees between 11am and 12noon.

Ankurarpanam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple on 17th May

 


Tirupati, 16 May 2021: TTD is organising a grand Ankurarpanam fete on the evening of May 17 as part of the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple slated from May18-26 conducted in ekantha due to Covid guidelines.

 

In this connection, TTD Archakas will traditionally perform Punya Havachanam, Mrysya grahanam, Senadhipati utsava rituals between 5.00-6.30 pm on Monday evening

Brahmotsavams of Sri Narapura Venkateswara Temple from 23rd to 31st May

 


Tirupati, 15 May 2021: TTD is organising the annual Brahmotsavam of Its sub temple of Sri Narapura Venkateswara temple, Jammalamadugu in YSR Kadapa district from May23-31 in Ekantha in view of Covid guidelines. 

 

Similarly the auspicious fete of annual will be performed on the evening of May 22.

 

TTD will conduct the Dwajarohanam event on May 23 evening in the lagnam between 9.30-10.30 am. Besides daily vahanas, TTD is also poised to conduct daily Snapana thirumanjanam for the Utsava idols and also Pushpa yagam on June 1 night.

 

Sita Maata Visesha Homa At Tirumala

 




Tirumala, 15 May 2021: As part of its spiritual agenda against pandemic Covid TTD organised Vishesha Homa of Sri Sita which was performed by16 vaikhana pundits at the Dharmagiri Veda vijnan peetham on Saturday morning 

 

The principal of Dharmagiri Veda vijnan peetham Sri KSS Avadhani will be supervising the Sri Rama Mula Mantrusthanq - Tarpana and Homas till May 18.

 

Earlier the pundits observed the Mula Mantrusthanam of Sri Sitadevi, Sri Rama, Sri Lakshmana, and Sri Anjaneya and thereafter Vaikhanasa pundits performed Vishesh homas for Sri Rama, Sri Sita, Sri Lakshmana and Sri Anjaneya. Thereafter the sacred Sri Rama Mula mantram Sri Rama Japam and Sri Rama Gayatri mantram were chanted.

 

Speaking on the occasion the TTD Vaikhanasa Agama adviser Sri Nalari Venkata Mohanacharyulu said Vishesha homas aimed at relief to humanity from pandemic Corona were part of the Shodasha Dina Sundara Kanda Diksha launched b TTD.

 

He said such Visesha Homas will be held for Sri Lakshmana on May 16 Sri Anjaneya on May 17 and the Homas phase will conclude with Purnahuti on May 18.

 

The entire program is being live telecast between 2.00-2.30 pm daily for benefit of devotees across the world and that they should chant the Mula mantras eight times to beget the fruits of Homas.

 

The Veda pundits of SV Veda Vijnan peetham, students and others were present.

Lakshmi Narayana Puja On Akshya Thritiya Day

 





Tirupati, 14 May 2021: As part of TTD’s spiritual endeavour against pandemic Covid in the month of Vaishaka, TTD grandly organised the Lakshmi Narayana puja on the Akshaya Tritiya fete, at the Yagashala of SV Veda university on Friday noon.

 

The celebrations were telecast live from 11.00-12.00 noon by the SVBC for benefit of Srivari devotees across the world.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-chancellor of SV Vedic University Acharya Sannidhanam Sudarshana Sharma said the performance of the Lakshmi Narayana puja would beget devotees blessings of Sri Venkateshwara.
