Narayanam Brahmotsavams from 23rd to 31st May


Tirupati, 20 May 2021: The annual Brahmotsavams of


Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in Narayanavanam are scheduled from May 23 to 31.

 

The Ankurarpanam for the festival will be observed on May 22 while Dhwajarohanam will be performed on May 23 in Meena Lagnam between 9am and 9:30am.

 

Everyday morning and evening Vahana sevas will be observed in Ekantam inside the temple due to Covid pandemic.

 

Important days include Garuda Vahanam on May 27 and Chakrasnanam on May 31. In the place of Rathotsavam on May 30 Sarvabhoopala Vahanam will be observed in the morning and Kalyanotsavam in the evening.

Padmavati Parinayotsavams Commences








Tirumala, 20 May 2021: The annual three-day Padmavathi Parinayotsavams commence in Tirumala on Thursday.

 

In view of the Covid pandemic, these Utsavams are being observed in Ekantam in Kalyanotsava Mandapam in Tirumala temple.

 

On the first day, Sri Malayappa Swamy on Gaja Vahanam flanked by Sridevi and Bhudevi on separate Tiruchis were brought to the Mandapam where the celestial fete was observed with religious fervour amidst chanting of Vedic Mantras.

 

The divine wedding included Edurkolu, Varanamayiram, Nootana Vastra Samarpanam, Kanyadanam and concluded with Asthanam 

 

Board Member Sri DP Ananta, Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath, Archakas were also present.

Govindaraja Graces Mutyapu Pandiri





Tirupati, 20 May 2021: The third day evening witnessed Sri Govindaraja along with Sri and Bhu Devis on Mutyapu Pandiri Vahanam.

 

As a part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati on Thursday evening, the Utsava murthies were seated elegantly on the Pearl canopy.

 

The senior and Junior Pontiffs of Tirumala, Special Grade Deputy EO Sri Rajendrudu and others were also present.

TTD To Release June Quota



Tirumala, 20 May 2021: TTD will release the Rs.300 online quota for the month of June on May 21 by 9am.

 

Everyday 5000 tickets will be available.

 

Devotees are requested to make note of this and book Darshan tickets in advance.

Padmavati Parinayotsavams in Ekantam


Tirumala, 19 May 2021: The annual Padmavathi Parinayotsavams will be observed in Ekantam from May 20 to 22 in Tirumala temple in view of the Covid pandemic.

 

According to legend, Akasa Raja did the celestial marriage of his daughter Padmavathi with Srinivasa on the auspicious day of Vaisakha Suddha Dasami in the advent of Purva Phalguni Nakshatra. TTD has been observing this fest since 1992. 

 

On the first day Sri Malayappa Swamy will be seated on Gaja Vahanam, second day on Garuda and on the final day on Aswa Vahanam. Every day there will be Parinayotsavam rituals from 3pm onwards in Kalyana Mandapam inside the temple complex.

 

TTD has cancelled Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankar Seva in connection with this festival.

Saraswati Avatar Showers Wisdom





Tirupati, 19 May 2021: The second day evening on Wednesday witnessed Sri Govindaraja Swamy in Saraswati Avatara as a part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple at Tirupati.

 

In view of covid-19 Seva has been observed in Ekantam.

 

Special Grade Deputy EO Sri Rajendrudu and other temple officials were also present.

COVID Help Desk set up at TIMS

 Hyderabad, May 2021: Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS), has got a COVID Help desk that will assist the hospital administration in streamlining & improving patient care, admissions and follow ups on patient’s health.

 

The COVID help desk has been set up by city NGO, Helping Hand Foundation & Modern Architects for Rural India (MARI) & is fully sponsored by Azim Premji Foundation.

 

HHF, has been running Help desk services in rest of the government COVID centers in the city like Gandhi, OGH, King Koti & Chest Hospital.

 

A team of 5 counsellors will be placed at the disposal of the hospital, two volunteers will be at the entry TRIAGE to check for reports of patients and will facilitate on admissions, another TRIAGE within the hospital will keep track of patient’s health and will facilitate movement of essential items to patients admitted in hospital.

 

The other 2 counsellors will be getting a list from the hospital of all the IP cases and they will inform family /attenders of the patients admitted to update on the patient’s condition and is health status.

 

For the first time in any government COVID hospital, the counsellors will also offer counselling services to the deceased patients attenders and help them with the process an area considered most sensitive and important from the patient’s family perspective.

 

Our aim is to improve patient care and services for COVID patients and we are glad the voluntary organizations are coming forward to coordinate our efforts said Dr. Ehsan Ahmed Khan.

 

With our help desk across all city COVID government centers the intra hospital availability of beds and movement of patients is being seamlessly being streamlined and we are able to assist hospital administration in improving patient care said Mr. Mujtaba Hasan Askari of Helping Hand Foundation.

 

HHF, has deployed 25 Volunteers across 5 Government COVID nodal centers in the 2nd wave of the pandemic.
