Govindaraja Shines on Surya Prabha Vahanam

 



On the seventh day morning on Monday, as part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple, the processional deity of Swamy decked blessed His devotees on Suryaprabha vahanam held in Ekantam due to Covid guidelines.

 

Later Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the deities between 9:30am and 10:30am. 

 

Tirumala pontiffs Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyarswamy and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyarswamy, Special Grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu and others were also present.

Vengamamba Jayanthi on 25th May at Tirumala

 


Tirumala, 24 May 2021:  TTD is organising the 291st Jayanti celebrations of Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba, an ardent disciple of Sri Venkateswara on May 25 at Tirumala.

 

The utsava fetes will be observed in adherence to Covid guidelines at the Ranganayakula Mandapam in Srivari temple, Vengamamba Brindavan at Tirumala and Annamacharya Kala mandiram at Tirupati.

 

The garlanding ceremony will be held at Vengamamba Brindavanam of the saint poetess at Tirumala between 9am and 10am in Ekantam. 

 

In the evening Sri Malayappa and His consorts will be paraded along the Mada streets and thereafter Vengamamba Jayanti festivities will be observed also in Ekantam at Ranganayakula Mandapam instead of Narayanagiri Gardens in view of Covid.

 

Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba was born in 1730 in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. She had attained live samadhi like Sri Raghavendra Swami and Sri Veerabrahmendraswami in 1817. She also pioneered Anna Prasadam for devotees visiting Tirumala.

 

Saraswaathi Avatar Showers Wisdom

 

 The second day evening on Wednesday witnessed Sri Govindaraja Swamy in Saraswati Avatara as a part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple at Tirupati.

 

In view of covid-19 Seva has been observed in Ekantam.

 

Special Grade Deputy EO Sri Rajendrudu and other temple officials were also present.

Govindaraja Muses on Chinna Sesha Vahanam

 

 The utsava idol of Sri Govindaraja Swamy graced on Chinna Sesha Vahanam on the second day morning of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple on Wednesday.

 

In view of the Covid pandemic, the vahana Seva was observed in Ekantam. Later Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the deities.

 

Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala, Special Grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu and others were also present.

 

Narayanavanam Fete Commences

 





Tirupati, 23 May 2021: The annual mega fete at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Narayanavanam commenced on a grand note on Sunday.

 

In view of covid-19, all the Vahana Sevas and other rituals will be observed in Ekantam.

 

Dhwajarohanam was performed with religious fervour between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. in the auspicious Mithuna lagnam as per Vaikhanasa Agama. This was followed by Snapana Tirumanjanam to Utsava murthies between 11 a.m. and 12 noon.

 

Temple DyEO Smt Shanti, AEO Sri Durgaraju and others were also present.

 

Hasta Nakshatra Isthi Homam Held

 






Tirumala, 23 May 2021: Seeking the divine intervention to overcome the Covid crisis, TTD has commenced Nakshatra Satra Yagam on May 9 which will conclude on June 15.

 

Starting from Krittika star to Bharani including Abhijit star, 28 Yagams dedicated to each star on each day will be observed. 

 

As a part of this Yagam, Hasta Nakshatra Isthi Yagam held on Sunday at Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham in Tirumala.

 

TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, Veda Peetham Principal Sri KSS Avadhani, faculty, Ritwiks and others were also present.
