Pournami Garuda Seva Held







Tirumala, 26 May 2021: The monthly Pournami Garuda Seva was held Tirumala on Wednesday evening.

 

The processional deity of Sri Malayappa Swamy seated on Garuda Vahana was taken on a celestial ride along four mada streets to bless the devotees.

 

The event was telecasted live on SVBC for the sake of global devout.

 

Trust Board member Sri DP Ananta, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath and other officials were also present.

CM KCR held a review meeting at Pragati Bhavan here with Medical and Health officials

Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar  Rao has asked the Junior Doctors to call off  their strike keeping in view the overall public health and the existing Corona pandemic situation in the State and advised them to join duties immediately. The CM also made it clear that the government had never discriminated the junior doctors and their problems were all solved in the past and the government is ready to solve their just demands now. 

 

On Wednesday, the Chief Minister held a review meeting at PragatiBhavan here with Medical and Health officials on the Corona situation, vaccination programme and other issues. On this occasion, the officials brought to the notice of the CM on the Junior Doctors’ strike. Responding to the issues raised by the Junior Doctors, the CM said,” If the junior doctors demands are justified, the government has no objection to solve them. They can bring those demands to the government and get them solved. But it is not proper to abstain from duties now and then under the pretext of strike without even understanding the time and situation and causing inconvenience to people time and again. Moreover, going on strike under the present emergency situation caused by Corona no one will appreciate not even the people,” the CM made it clear.

 

The Medical and Health officials brought to the notice of the CM that Junior Doctors are getting high stipend compared to other states. The CM enquired about the demands made by the junior doctors. The officials briefed the CM about the demands and the CM instructed that they be solved.

 

The CM has decided to increase the honorarium paid to the Senior Residents by 15 per cent. The CM also extend the Senior Residents’ honorarium to the medical students who are engaged in the Covid duties after their three years of Medical course. He instructed that better medical facilities should be provided to Junior Doctors and their family members at the NIMS. The CM instructed the officials concerned to take measures so that the ex-gratia amount being extended as per the guidelines should be handed over immediately as per the junior Doctors' demand. In the meeting, Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar, CM Secretary, CMO Special Officer (Covid) Sri Rajasekhar Reddy, Principal Secretary (Medical and Health) Sri S.A.M Rizvi, DME Sri Ramesh Reddy, Director of Health Sri Srinivasa Rao, CM OSD Sri Gangadhar and others attended.

Adivi Sesh’s Major Theatrical Release Postponed





Adivi Sesh who is enjoying best phase of his career is making his Bollywood entry with the Pan India project Major. The film directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka will see Sesh playing the role of the decorated NSG commando Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.


The makers initially planned to release Major in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam on July 2nd. However, they have now announced to postpone the film, owing to second wave of corona.

“We are living in unprecedented times and we hope you are following all the safety protocols and staying safe. We would like to announce that Major, which was originally scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 2nd July, is now postponed to a later date.

We will announce the new theatrical release date in the days to come once things get back to normal. Times are tough but so are we,” reads the statement of team Major.

The film traces the inspirational journey of Sandeep Unnikrishnan who rescued hostages and lost his life in the valorous mission during the tragic 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

Major stars Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murli Sharma. The film is produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S movies.

Varun Tej's 'Ghani' gears up for the next schedule

 


Action portions to be shot under the aegis of Hollywood stunt masters* 

Mega Prince Varun Tej-starrer 'Ghani' marks the directorial debut of Kiran Korrapati. Ace producer Allu Aravind is presenting this sports drama, which is produced by Sidhu Mudda of Renaissance Films and Allu Bobby of Allu Bobby Company. The awaited film is in the production stage. Due to the second wave of coronavirus, its shoot is not taking place currently and it will resume once the situation becomes normal. 

Giving an update, producer Sidhu Mudda said, "Seventy percent of the shoot of 'Ghani' has been completed. The next schedule will be commenced once the second wave subsides. The film has the backdrop of boxing. During the ongoing lockdown, Varun Tej is practising boxing. In the upcoming schedule, besides action portions, crucial sequences on Varun Tej and other major cast members will be canned. Our Art Director has designed a huge stadium set for the purpose. Larnell Stovall and Vlad Rimburg, the Hollywood stunt masters who have previously worked on 'Titans' and the Bollywood movie 'Sulthan', will work on the action portions. Once the schedule is over, we will announce the release date of 'Ghani'." 

Bollywood beauty Saiee Mukerjee is the female lead of this promising movie. Upendra, Suneil Shetty and Naveen Chandra are playing pivotal roles. 

Varun Tej's look in the movie will be a never-seen-before one in his career. Music sensation SS Thaman has done the music. George C Williams is the director of photography of this film.

Narasimha Jayanthi Observed in Tirumala Shrine





On the auspicious occasion of Narasimha Jayanti on Tuesday, special pujas were performed in Sri Yoga Narasimha Swamy sub-temple located in Tirumala main temple.

 

Every year in the sacred month of Vaisakha, on the advent of Swati star, special abhishekam is performed to Sri Yoga Narasimha Swamy Mulamurty amidst chanting of Veda mantras by Archakas.

Vasanthotsaavam Begins at Tiruchanoor Temple

 The celebrations of the annual Vasantothsavams commenced in Ekantam in Sri Padmavati temple at Tiruchanoor as per COVID-19 guidelines.

 

As a part of festivities, the utsava idol of Sri Padmavati Ammavaru was offered Snapana Tirumanjanam at the Ashirvada Mandapam in the afternoon followed by Veda parayanam and procession inside the temple amidst Mangala vaidyam.

Sri Bheeshana Narasimha Puja at Vasantha Mandapam






Tirumala, 25 May 2021: As part of its Vaisakha month programs and seeking divine intervention to ward off the ill effects of Covid-19 across the world, TTD organised Sri Bheeshana Narasimha puja on the auspicious occasion of Sri Narasimha Jayanti at Vasantha Mandapam in Tirumala on Tuesday.

 

The program was live telecasted by SVBC between 8.30am and 10.30 am.

 

A part of festivities Sri Malayappa in Narasimha alankaram was seated on Simha vahana with Sudarshan chakra. Narasimha mantra was recited for 108 times and Sudarshana mantra for 24 times were also chanted by ritwiks.

 

Speaking on the occasion Sri Govindananda Saraswati Swami from Hampi narrated the epic story of how Maha Vishnu incarnated as Narasimha on plea of Bhakta Prahlada on the Chaturthi day and eradicated evil forces.

 

He also lauded the efforts of TTD to organise the Puja in Tirumala on the occasion of the Narasimha Jayanti for the benefit of the entire humanity.

 

The TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, Srivari Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath, Vaikhanasa Agama Advisor Sri Mohanaracharyulu, archakas, Veda pundits and Veda Parayanadars were present.
