Alipiri Footpath closed from 1st June to 31st July


With a view to fast track the repair and top-slab works of the footpath from Alipiri to Tirumala, the TTD has announced its closure from June 1 to July 31.

 

TTD stated that the devotees desiring to reach Tirumala on foot could utilise the Srivari Mettu path. 

 

Devotees are requested to note that TTD would provide free buses up to Srivari Mettu from Alipiri.

 

Patra Pushpa Yagam Held at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple



As part of Vaishaka Pournami festivities, TTD has organised Patra Pushpa Yagam on Wednesday morning at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Ekantam due to Covid guidelines.

 

In this connection, Navakalasha Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed for utsava idols of Sri Kapileswara and Sri Kamakshi Devi after daily rituals in the morning.

 

Thereafter between 10am and 12 noon Patra and Pushpa Yaga mahotsavam with a variety of leaves and flowers was conducted to Utsava idols 

 

The special celebrations were held by the TTD for the well-being of the humanity to ward off ill impact, if any ritualistic lapses in the holy shrine, says Archakas.

 

DyEO Sri Subramaniam, Superintendent Sri Bhupathi, Temple Inspector Sri Sekhar, Archakas and other staffs were present.

Vasanthotsavam at Tiruchanoor Temple






On the second day of the ongoing annual Vasantothsavam festivities at Sri Padmavati Ammavaru temple on Wednesday Snapana Tirumanjanam was held in Ekantam as per Covid guidelines. 

 

The celebrations included Bangaru Tiruchi utsava in place of Bangaru Ratham in the morning followed by Snapana Tirumanjanam for utsava idols of Padmavati Devi at Ashirvachana mandapam in the afternoon.

 

Later in the evening, the Ammavari procession was held amidst Veda Parayanams and Mangala vaidyam.

 

Temple DyEO Smt Kasturi Bai, Agama Advisor Sri Srinivasa Charyulu, AEO Sri Prabhakar Reddy, Temple Archaka Sri Babu Swamy, Superintendent Sri Madhu and other staff were present.

 

Chakrasnanam Held at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple









The annual Brahmotsavam festivities concluded at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple on Wednesday with grand celebrations of Chakra Snanam in Ekantam due to Covid guidelines.

 

In this connection earlier Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed for the utsava idols of Sri Govindaraja Swamy and His consorts along with Sri Sudarshan Chakrathalwar at the temple mandapam.

 

Tirumala pontiffs Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyarswami and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyarswami, special grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, AEO Sri Ravi Kumar Reddy, Archakas AP Srinivasa Dikshitulu, Kankana Bhattar Sri AT Parthasarathy Dikshitulu, temple inspector Sri Munindrababu and Sri Kamaraj, Superintendents Sri Venkatadri and Sri Kumar and others were present.

 

Dwajaavarohanam Heralded Finale Of Sri Govinda Raja Swamy Varit Temple Annual Brahmotsavams





Tirupati, 26 May 2021: The nine day-long celebrations of the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati concluded on Wednesday evening with the Dwajavarohanam episode that was observed between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm.

 

The Garuda Dhwajapatham which was hoisted on the temple mast during the first day was lowered on the last day amidst chanting of divine mantras and thanking the deities for the successful conduct of the nine-day mega religious fete.

 

Tirumala pontiffs Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyarswamy and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyarswamy, Special Grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, AEO Sri Ravikumar Reddy, Superintendents Sri Venkatadri and Sri Kumar, Temple inspectors Sri Munindrababu and Sri Kamaraj and others were present.

₹ One Crore Donated to SVBC Trust


Sri PS Jayaraghavendra, Chairman Emeritus of Pramati Software Private Limited, Mangalore has donated an amount of Rs.One Crore to SVBC Trust.

 

TTD Board member Sri DP Ananta handed over the DD for the same amount on behalf of the donor to SVBC MD and the Additional EO of TTD Sri AV Dharma Reddy in later's bungalow at Tirumala on Wednesday evening.

Pournami Garuda Seva Held







Tirumala, 26 May 2021: The monthly Pournami Garuda Seva was held Tirumala on Wednesday evening.

 

The processional deity of Sri Malayappa Swamy seated on Garuda Vahana was taken on a celestial ride along four mada streets to bless the devotees.

 

The event was telecasted live on SVBC for the sake of global devout.

 

Trust Board member Sri DP Ananta, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath and other officials were also present.
