Vastrams Offered to Japali Hanuman






TIRUMALA, 04 JUNE 2021: As a tradition, TTD has presented silk vastrams to Sri Hanuman located in Jabali Theertham in Tirumala on Friday.

 

Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy offered these sacred vastrams on behalf of TTD. Speaking on the occasion, he said, while Anjana Devi over the advice of Matanga Maharshi did penance and gave birth to Anjaneya at Anjanadri in Tirumala, Jabali Maharshi did penance to appease Anjaneya at this holy place and hence it was named after him as Jabali Theertham. The Hanuman located here is Swayambhuvu", he added.

 

Earlier on his arrival, he was received by Hathiramji Mutt Chief Sri Arjun Das Swamiji and later had darshan of Sri Japali Anjaneya. The Dasa Sahitya Project artists rendered Hanuman Chalisa followed by Harikatha Parayanam by Sri Venkateswarulu Bhagavatar on the Birth of Anjaneya.

 

Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath, Annamacharya Project Director Sri Dakshnamurthy, Dasa Sahitya Project Special Officer Sri Anandatheerthacharya, Health Officer Dr RR Reddy, Deputy EO Revenue and Panchayat Sri Vijayasaradhi, VGO Sri Bali Reddy and others were also present.

Sri Somesh Kumar,IAS., Chief Secretary to Govt. held a meeting with Officials

As per the directions of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K.Chandrashekar Rao, Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar, IAS, today held a review meeting with concerned officials on Dharani Portal  at BRKR Bhavan.

Chief Secretary directed officials to resolve the grievances which were placed by the applicants in Dharani Portal as early as possible with the co-ordination of District Collectors and also monitor the status of pendency daily.  He  instructed that a standard response to be given on all grievances through Whatsapp, Email etc. Grievances should be sorted out immediately. Chief Secretary also reviewed the modules and other related issues pertaining to land matters and Dharani Portal.

Actor Ashish Gandhi Marries Nikitha






















Actor Ashish Gandhi who starred in several Telugu films such as Natakam has entered wedlock. He got married to an IT employee named Nikitha in a low-key affair at a star hotel in Hyderabad recently. The wedding ceremony was attended by only family members and close friends of the couple, adhering to Covid-19 norms.


As per reports, the marriage was arranged between the parents of the couple. Ashish is pleased to get a life partner who understands his profession. He indeed is quite contented to start a new chapter in life.

On the work front, Ashish Gandhi is awaiting the release of his upcoming flick Director. He has two other exciting projects, including UNIKI.

Santosh Shobhan headlines hilarious entertainer 'Prem Kumar'







Sharanga Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. and producer P Shiva Prasad are currently doing a film with Santosh Shobhan as the hero. Titled 'Prem Kumar', the film marks the directorial debut of Abhishek Maharshi. Rashi Singh is its female lead. Krishna Chaitanya, Ruchitha Sadineni, Krishna Teja, Sudarshan, Ashok Kumar, Prabhavathi and Madhu have been roped in to play other roles. Already, 80% of the shoot is over. Once the lockdown is lifted, the rest of the film will be shot. The makers today, announcing the title, revealed further details about the promising movie.


Speaking about the premise of 'Prem Kumar', director Abhishek Maharshi said, "Usually, in our movies, the male lead wins over the heroine by delivering a nice monologue at the wedding in the climax. But what about the poor groom? My film tells the story of one such groom, who is frustrated that marriage is eluding him. What he does due to frustration is the crux of 'Prem Kumar', which is a hilarious movie."

Producer Panneeru Shiva Prasad said, "We are making 'Prem Kumar' as a hilarious comedy entertainer. The director and his fellow writer Anirudh Krishnamurthy came up with a unique story. The screenplay is exciting. Santosh Shoban's character will be a special attraction. We have already completed 80% of the production works. We are waiting for the lockdown to be over so we can complete the pending portions. The release date will be duly announced once the situation settles."

Varalakshmi Sarathkumar Addresses Vaccine Hesitancy With Innovative Video


Talented actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar proved to be socially conscious as well. The actress who is waiting for the COVID second wave to subside to get back to work came up with an awareness video to educate people about the importance to take the vaccine.


In a short video of one and half minute duration, the actress plays a skit of a sort in which she appears in a dual role. One character is seen fearing to take the vaccine due to the side effects and the other character, a friend convinces her to take one educating her how side effects are common with any vaccine.

"Remember how wearing a helmet saved you in a bike accident recently. The vaccine does the same," she says convincing her friend to take the jab. She also says no one died of taking vaccine but that may have happened due to other complications not related to the vaccine.

The busy actress finishes the video by saying "I took my first shot recently. Have you got yours?". Varalakshmi Sarathkumar impressed the Telugu audience with Krack and Naandhi before the COVID second wave. This attempt of the actress in Telugu is impressive and at the same time stirs the necessary awareness in the people.

TTD Get Six Tons of Organic Rice Donation




Six tons of Organic rice and 50 kgs of turmeric based on Panchagavya farming were donated to TTD by Sri Vijayarangan, a farmer from Pinagoodurulanka of Krishna district on Saturday morning.

 

The donation was handed over to the Srivari temple DyEO Sri Harindranath outside the temple premises by a representative of the donor. 

 

The donor also sought that out of the turmeric donation 25 kgs of turmeric to be given for use of Sri Padmavati Ammavaru temple at Tiruchanoor.

Vengamamba Stone Mandapam Fete Held





As per tradition Sri Malayappa Swamy and His consorts paid a ceremonial visit to Rocky Mandapam Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba, the saint poetess who penned sankeertans on Srivaru on Thursday.

 

As a tradition, every year ten days after Sri Narasimha Jayanti, Sri Malayappa accompanied by His consorts goes on a procession to this rock mandapam located on North Mada Street, which was believed to have been resided by Vengamamba.

 

As a token of the ardent services of Vengamamba, Srivaru with His Consorts receives her hospitality followed by Asthanam after Sahasra Deepalankara Seva.
