Governor plants saplings at Raj Bhavan on World Environment Day

Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, on the occasion of the World Environment Day, has planted saplings at the Raj Bhavan, here, on Saturday.

Rajya Sabha Member J. Santosh Kumar, who launched Green India Challenge, has also joined the Governor in the programme and planted a sapling at the Raj Bhavan.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor called upon all sections of the people to join hands in greening our State and country.

“Protecting, promoting, and restoring our ecosystem is vital for the health of the mother Earth. We must give the healthier ecosystem to future generations for their wellbeing. In order to ensure better health of the planet, we must follow the sustainable development models,” she added.

Referring to the Green India Challenge, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan lauded the efforts of Rajya Sabha Member J. Santosh Kumar in striving to improve the green cover.

“The planting of more than 10 crore saplings, involving different sections of the people and taking the greenery challenge on a massive scale will go a long way in improving our green cover,” she added.

The Governor also felicitated the MP for undertaking the gigantic task of increase of green cover with an apt slogan “Hara Hain Tho Bara Hain (If it is green, it is complete) .She appreciated his untiring efforts in promoting  planting saplings. She lauded the efforts in bringing out "Vruksha Vedam",a book explaining the importance,medicinal and therapeutic properties of various plants as written in our ancient scriptures and Vedas.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan also congratulated the MP on recently getting a special appreciation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his Green India Challenge initiative.

The Governor termed the MP’s initiative “Green India Challenge” as an inspiring one and hoped that his mission would transform our State into a greener one.

The Governor’s spouse, renowned Nephrologist Dr. P. Soundararajan, Secretary to Governor K. Surendra Mohan, Joint Secretaries and other senior officials joined the plantation programme.

You Must Learn Time Management From Hanuman





The youth of today should learn the time management technique from the lifestyle of Sri Anjaneya Swamy to achieve their goals and aspirations said Dr A Vibhishana Sharma, Project Officer SV higher Vedic studies.

 

Speaking on "Hanuman Time management skills to Youth" on Nada Neerajanam platform at Tirumala on Saturday as a part of the ongoing Hanumad Vaibhavam Pravachanam program, he said along with Mind, Power, Strength, Hanuman perfectly followed Time Management and successfully traced Sita Devi. Today youth should also follow the ideals of Hanuman if they want to achieve newer heights in their lives, he maintained.

On day two, the presiding deities of Anjana Devi and Hanuman were rendered abhishekam and special poojas at Anjanadri in Tirumala near Akasa Ganga.

 

The Annamacharya Project artistes performed sankeertans while at Japali, Dasa Sahitya Project artistes rendered Hanuman Chalisa.

Over 200,000 Vaccinated in Telangana by Apollo Hospitals

Tirumala, 4 Jun. 21: The Bhoomi Puja for the construction of the Srivari temple at Majhin village in Jammu is scheduled on June 13 and in this connection TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy reviewed on the arrangements on Friday.

 

This review meeting took place in Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati. Engineering Officials gave power point presentation on the structure of temple, Mukha Mandapam, Vahana Mandapam, Potu, Veda Pathashala, Parking, Pilgrims Amenities Complex etc. and also on the electrical works.

 

Later EO directed the officials to divide the work and complete in two phases and take all measure to ensure that the outer wall surrounding the temple is in height.

 

He also instructed concerned on making the local arrangements for the Bhumi Puja.

Special Abhishekam Performed to Anjana Devi - Anjaneya Swamy in the Newly Constructed Temple at Akasaganga

fter declaring Anjanadri located in the green woods of Tirumala near Akasa Ganga as the original birth place of Sri Anjaneya Swamy, TTD has celebrated its maiden Hanuman Jayanthi fete in this sacred place on Friday.

 

The TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy who participated in the special abhishekam being performed to the presiding deities of Anjana Devi and Bala Anjaneya Swamy located in the newly constructed temple at Akasa Ganga, speaking on the occasion said, "This year we will be observing Hanuman Jayanti festivities for days till June 8. Henceforth this festival will be observed with utmost grandeur every year at Anjanadri in Tirumala apart from special abhishekam to Bedi Anjaneya Swamy and Seventh Mile Anjaneya Swamy", he maintained.

 

Later National Sanskrit Varsity VC Sri Muralidhara Sharma said, Hanuman Jayanthi will be observed on the auspicious day of Vaisakha Suddha Dasami. According to Skanda Purana, Anjaneya was born to Anjana Devi after her penance which lasted for over thousands of years.

 

Earlier, Abhishekam and Archana were performed to the divine Mother-Son duo amidst chanting of Vedic mantras by Vedic Pundits following Covid guidelines. Later Sri Anjaneya Swamy was decked with betel leaves and jasmine garlands. For the sake of global devotees, the entire event was telecasted live on SVBC.

 

Later Smt Jayanthi Savitri team rendered Harikatha Parayanam on the Glory of Hanumantha on the celestial occasion.

Special Abhishekam Performed to Bedi Anjaneya and Seventh Mile Anjaneya




Special Abhishekams were performed to Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy located in front of Tirumala temple and Sri Prasanna Anjaneya Swamy located in Seventh mile on first ghat road on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi on Friday.

 

The officials of TTD took part in these two fetes which were held separately in the morning and in the evening respectively.
