CJI Reaches Tirumala- Takes Part in Ekanta Seva








The Honourable Chief Justice of India (CJI) Justice NV Ramana on Thursday evening arrived in Tirumala on a two-day pilgrimage along with his family members. This is his maiden visit to the Pilgrim Centre after his elevation to the coveted post.

 

On his arrival at Sri Padmavathi Rest House, he was welcomed by TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti were also present.

 

Among other prominent personalities who received the dignitary included AP High Court Judge Justice Lalita Kumari and Tirupati Legislator and TTD board member Sri B Karunakar Reddy.

 

District Judge Sri Ravindrababu, Tirupati Additional District Judge Justice Veera Raju, Protocol Magistrate Sri Pavan Kumar, DIG Krantirana Tata, District Collector Sri Harinarayan, SP Sri Venkatappala Naidu, were also present.

 

Later the CJI had darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with his family and took part in Ekanta Seva.

  

Easy Registration of Rooms for Devotees from 12th June


TTD is coming up with new registration counters at six locations (instead of the existing registration counter only at CRO alone) in Tirumala from June 12 onwards for easy allocation of accommodations to devotees.

 

From Saturday onwards the room allocation counters will become operational at six locations in Tirumala including one at GNC tollgate near luggage Centre, two counters each at Balaji bus station, at Kausthubham rest house, Ram Bhagicha rest house, MBC besides the CRO. 

 

All arrangements are completed at all six locations for registration of names for rooms and wait for SMS confirmation and thereafter to proceed towards Sub enquiry offices for payment of tariff and collection of room keys.

 

TTD has appealed to devotees to note the new facilities developed for their convenience and comforts.

 

Ankurarpana Performed to Yuddakanda Parayanam





As the month-long Yuddhakanda Parayanam is going to commence on Friday, Ankurarpanam fete was performed on Thursday evening at Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham in Tirumala.

 

Sankalpam, Ganapathi Puja, Punyahavachanam, Ritwikvaranam, Kankanadharana, Agnipratistha, Ankuraropanam were carried out in a religious manner.

 

From Friday onwards 32 Vedic Pundits with 16 members each at Vasantha Mandapam and Dharmagiri will perform Yuddhakanda Parayanam till July 10. While Vedic scholars chant shlokas from Yuddhakanda in Vasantha Mandapam, the Ritwiks performa Japa and homam in Dharmagiri during this period.

 

TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath, Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham Principal Sri KSS Avadhani were also present.

 

Sundarakanda Pathanam Completes a Year

T


he most prestigious and popular spiritual programme undertaken by TTD in recent times, Sundarakanda Pathanam, which won global acclaim has successfully completed a year on Thursday.

 

The novel programme was mulled by TTD to protect the world from the ill effects of the Corona Pandemic and commenced on June 11 at Nada Neerajanam in Tirumala during last year.

 

The Parayana Maha Yagam of TTD began with Yogavasistyam, Dhanvanthri Mahamantra Parayanams on April 10 -June 10 for 62 days last year and thereafter the Sundarakanda Pathanam commenced from June 11 onwards.  

 

The unique program is being followed by Srivari devotees from their homes across the world with the daily live telecast by the SVBC between 7am and 8am.

Adivi Sesh’s Major Overseas Rights For A Staggering Price

 


Riding high with the success of consecutive films, versatile actor Adivi Sesh is awaiting the release of his maiden Bollywood venture Major. The Pan India film directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka will see Sesh playing the role of the decorated NSG commando Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.


The makers planned to release Major in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam on July 2nd. Unfortunately, due to corona lockdown, the film’s release got postponed to a later date.

Though Major marks first Pan India film for Sesh, it has been carrying equally strong buzz in all the languages it will be released in.

The film’s teaser was released couple of months ago to overwhelming response across the country. The trailer that got record views and won appreciation of all indeed set bar high on the film. Thus, Major is a hot cake in the business circles and the makers have been getting fancy offers for theatrical and other rights.

Yuddhakanda Parayanam for the Welfare of Humanity - TTD Addl Eo

n its spiritual drive to rescue humanity from pandemic Corona, TTD is conducting the Yuddhakanda Parayanam from the epic Ramayana at Vasantha Mandapam in Tirumala from June 11 up to July 10, said TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.

 

Addressing a review meeting on the arrangements for the religious program with Vedic Pundits at Vasanta Mandapam in Tirumala on Wednesday, TTD Additional EO said TTD had during the year conducted Shodasha Dina Sundarakanda Parayanam from May 3 to18 including Nakshatra Satra Maha Yagam on May 9. Thereafter historic one-day Sampoorna Akhanda Sundarakanda Pathanam was held on May 31, which lasted for over 16 hours from 6am to 10pm.

 

In Yuddhakanda Parayanam, 16 Vedic Pundits each in Vasanta Mandapam and at Dharmagiri Veda Pathashala will conduct Parayanam and Japa-Tarpana- Homa programs respectively for 30 days.

 

For benefit of Srivari devotees across the world, the program will be live telecasted by the SVBC at 8.30 am.

 

Speaking on the occasion Principal of Dharmagiri Veda Vijnana Peetham Sri KSS Avadhani said Ankurarpanam for the Yuddhakanda Parayanam will be held on Thursday between 7pm and 8pm.

₹ 3 Lakhs Compensation to Sri C Gopal Family


A total of 426 Potu workers of TTD have contributed their one day salary and accumulated Rs. 3 lakhs as financial aid to the bereaved family of Sri CV Gopal, their fellow potu worker who died recently following ill health.

 

They handed over the cheque for the same to the family members of the deceased Potu worker over the hands of Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy handed over the cheque on Wednesday.
