Tiruchanoor, 11 Jun. 21: The Honourable Chief Justice of India Justice NV Ramana offered prayers in the shrine of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru at Tiruchanoor on Friday along with his family.

 

Earlier on his arrival at the temple entrance, he was received with Purnakumbham and welcomed by TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and local MLA and ex-officio member Dr C Bhaskar Reddy.

 

After darshan of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru the protocol dignitary was offered Vedaseervachanam.

 

Chairman, MLA, JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi offered Prasadam and laminated photo of Ammavaru.

 

CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, Temple DyEO Smt Kasturi  Bai and others were also present.

TS CS reviewed the progress of Haritha Haram at a meeting held at BRKR Bhavan

Sri Somesh Kumar, IAS, Chief Secretary, reviewed the progress of  Haritha Haaram at a meeting held at BRKR Bhavan today.  Officials informed the Chief Secretary that saplings and other material is readily available. During the course of the meeting Chief Secretary emphasised the need to focus on multilevel avenue plantation, nurseries and Palle Prakruthi Vanams.

Blessings of Srivaru Responsible for my Apex Post - CJI














TIRUMALA, 11 JUNE 2021: With the benign blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy I reached this apex level in my career, said the Honourable Chief Justice of India, Justice NV Ramana.

 

The CJI who is on a two-day maiden visit to Tirumala after taking over the reigns of the Supreme Court offered prayers in the hill shrine of Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with his family on Friday.

 

Speaking to SVBC after darshan he said he has come across many interesting incidents in his life. It is with the grace of Venkateswara Swamy what I am today. With His blessings I will do my best to take up the legal system to the next level", he added.

 

Earlier, on his arrival at Mahadwaram, he was received by TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy and was offered traditional Isthikaphal Welcome by temple priest Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu.

 

Later he offered prayers in front of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. After this followed Vedaseervachanam in Ranganayakula Mandapam by Vedic pundits.

 

Chairman and EO offered Theertha Prasadams to the dignitary.

 

Among other prominent personalities who were present included local MLA and TTD Board member Sri B Karunakar Reddy, Dr Nischita, Sri Siva Kumar, Sri DP Ananta, Sri Parthasaradhi, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti and others.

 

Later the CJI offered Coconuts at Akhilandam and fulfilled his wish and also paid visit to Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple.

 

TS CS held a meeting with officials at BRKR Bhavan

As per the directions of the Honourable Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekar Rao, Minister for Finance Sri T Harish Rao along with the Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar IAS held a meeting with Special Chief Secretaries/Principal Secretaries/Secretaries of all departments at BRKR Bhavan today.  Issues relating to schedule IX and schedule X , Public and Government assets were discussed.

 Department wise review was conducted on institutions under Schedule IX and Schedule X. In addition review was also conducted on collection of data on Government / Department assets. All departments have collected the data.   Officials were directed to submit the details of the number of Government buildings/assets under each department as per the proforma given.

TS CS held a meeting on Livelihood Programmes and Skill Development at BRKR Bhavan

 

As per the directions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K.Chandrashekar Rao, Sri Somesh Kumar,IAS., Chief Secretary to Govt., held a meeting on Livelihood Programmes and Skill Development with the concerned department heads today at BRKR Bhavan.

The Chief Secretary reviewed the performance of various departments. The Officers were directed to start focusing on this item of work now. All relevant departments should work as a team.
