Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony held for Jammu Temple










Foundation stone ceremony held with religious fervour for the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple coming up in Majhin village of Jammu on Sunday.

 

With the allotment of land in this village by the Government of Jammu, TTD has commenced the construction of the Srivari temple for which the pooja is performed as per tradition.

 

To start with Ganapathi Puja, the Pundits performed Viswaksena Puja, Punyahavachanam, Agnipratistha, Vastu Homam.

 

The sacred kalasams were brought to Yagashala by TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy and they performed Abhishekam to the stone kept in the construction area.

 

This was followed by Silanyasa Puja, Chaturveda Parayanam, Navagraha Stotra Parayanam, Maha Vishnu Puja and then the stone was consecrated in the ground and special puja was performed.

 

Later the Jammu Lt. Governor was explained about the plan of the upcoming temple and other amenities.

 

Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor Sri Manoj Sinha, Union Ministers Sri Kishen Reddy, Dr Jitendra Singh, TTD Board Member Sri Govinda Hari and others were also present.

Union Minister for Railways Offers Prayers in Tirumala








Tirumala, 13 Jun. 21:  Union Minister for Railways and Minister of Commerce & Industry Sri Piyush Goyal accompanied by family members offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala Temple on Sunday morning.

 

On their arrival, the Hon’ble Union Ministers were accorded a grand reception by Addl Executive Officer Sri AV Dharma Reddy and temple priests and escorted him to the sanctum sanctorum.

  

Later the Union Minister was rendered Vedashirvachanam by Vedic pundits and was presented Srivari Thirtha prasadams and lamination of Lord Venkateswara.

 

AP Minister Sri B.Rajendranath, MP Sri Gurumurthy, TTD Board Member Sri Chavireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Temple DyEO Sri Haridranath, Reception Officials Sri Lokanadham, Sri Bhaskar and others were present.

Registration Counters Opened for Devotees

 












TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy opened new registration counters in Tirumala on Saturday.

 

He took part in the Puja and speaking to media later he said from Saturday onwards six more counters have been opened in Tirumala for easy allocation of accommodations to devotees.

 

All arrangements are completed at all six locations for registration of names for rooms and wait for SMS confirmation and thereafter to proceed towards Sub enquiry offices for payment of tariff and collection of room keys.

 

He appealed to devotees to note the new facilities developed for their convenience and comforts.

 

Apart from CRO more counters have become operational at six more locations in Tirumala including one counter at GNC tollgate near luggage Centre, two counters each at Balaji bus station, at Kausthubham rest house, Ram Bhagicha rest house, MBC besides the CRO.

 

Deputy EOs R1 Sri Lokanatham, R2 Sri Bhaskar and other officials were present in the opening of counters.

Sanitizers and Masks Distributed at Aswin Hospital of Tirupati



TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy along with Dr Swetha, Medical Advisor to TTD Medical Wing, distributed Masks and Sanitizers to the frontline workers in Aswini Hospital at Tirumala on Friday.

 

He lauded the services of TTD doctors, paramedical staff, cleaning staff on this occasion.

 

Dr Swetha did the contribution towards distributing a Sanitizer and five masks to all the frontline workers rendering their impeccable services in TTD Hospitals.

 

To start with she donated the material at Aswini Hospital. She said the materials will be provided to the staffs working in SVIMS, BIRRD, Central Hospital and even at Government Ruia   Hospital also.

 

Aswini Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Narmada was also present.

Yuddakandaa Parayanam Commences



The month-long Yuddhakanda Parayanam commenced with religious fervour on Friday at Vasantha Mandapam in Tirumala.

 

Speaking on the Principal of Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham Sri KSS Avadhani said from Friday onwards 32 Vedic Pundits with 16 members each at Vasantha Mandapam and Dharmagiri will perform Yuddhakanda Parayanam till July 10.

 

He said while the Vedic scholars chant shlokas from Yuddhakanda in Vasantha Mandapam, the Ritwiks perform Japa and Homam in Dharmagiri during this period.

 

"Today we have recited 372 shlokas in Yuddhakanda including 100 from Balakanda. These shlokas narrate us that Sri Rama has started for war against Ravana to see the latter's end with his team of Vanaras. Likewise the war against Corona has also commenced and with the divine blessings of Sri Rama the dreadful virus will be demolished soon", he maintained.

 

CEO SVBC Sri Suresh Kumar and others were also present.

The Hon’ble Governor presented a bouquet and extended a hearty welcome to the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India on the latter’s arrival at the Raj Bhavan, here, this evening.

 Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan also presented a bouquet, greeted, and welcomed the wife of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India.

The Hon’ble Governor presented a bouquet and extended a warm welcome to the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Telangana High Court, Justice Hima Kohli.
