One Crore Donated to Sri Venkateswara Vidyadana Trust


The MD of Paramesu Bio-tech Private limited, Sri T Upendra Reddy from Anaparti of West Godavari district has donated Rs. One crore to SV Vidyadana Trust of TTD on Friday.

 

He handed over the DD for the same amount to TTD Board Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy in Ranganayakula Mandapam of Srivari temple.

 

Shukla Devi Puja Held at Sri Venkateswara Vedic University




Seeking the divine intervention for bestowing prosperity on humanity with a good amount of rains, Sri Shukla Devi Archana was performed in SV Vedic University on Friday.

 

This puja took place in the Yagashala of Varsity between 11am and 12noon and was telecasted live on SVBC.

 

A portrait of Shukla Devi draped in white garments and white flowers was kept and puja was performed under the supervision of Acharya Goli Venkata Subrahmanya Sharma.

TTD Board Approve Garuda Varadhi Extension Works


 TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy reiterated that the TTD board will on Saturday decide on the issue of extension of Garuda Varadhi works up to Alipiri to resolve traffic problems in Tirupati.

 

Speaking to media on Friday at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, the TTD Chairman said he had received many representations from people’s representatives and other sections of the public on the need for extending the prestigious Garuda Varadhi flyover up to Alipiri tollgate. In view of above the TTD Board will deliberate on cost estimates of the extension works etc. in the board meeting scheduled on June 19.

 

He said the TTD could not implement the board decision to revive Kalyanamastu (free mass wedding to poor families) launched earlier by the former CM of AP Late Sri YS Rajasekhara Reddy and also to build 500 Sri Venkateshwara temples in SC/ ST/ BC and fishermen colonies as part of Hindu dharma Pracharam due to Covid pandemic. But both programs will be revived and implemented once things turn to normalcy.

 

The Chairman said during the last 18 months of Covid first and second waves, TTD had launched several programs for the well-being of people. TTD launched several spiritual programs like Sundarakanda, Bhagavat Gita, Virat Parva Parayanams and various other spiritual programmes giving live telecast through SVBC seeking Sri Venkateswara Swamy blessings to get relief to the entire humanity from the pandemic of Covid.

 

The board meeting on Saturday will also deliberate on providing Srivari Darshan to more devotees in adherence to Covid guidelines, he said.

 

Pushpayagam Held in Ekantam in Sri Govidaraja Swamy Vari Temple

he annual Pushpayagam in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple in Tirupati was observed in Ekantam in view of Covid restrictions on Friday.

The flower festival was performed between 2pm and 4pm with tonnes of ten varieties of flowers and four varieties of leaves donated by flower donors from Karnataka and Tamilnadu.

In this annual religious event, both the Senior and Junior Pontiffs of Tirumala, Special Gr. Dy. E. O Sri Rajendrudu and other office staff members were also present.

Ankurarpana Held for Appalayagunta Brahmotsavams




The Ankurarpana for annual Brahmotsavams in Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple at Appalayagunta was performed on Friday.

As the annual Brahmotsavams are set to commence from June 19 onwards, as a ritual of prelude, Ankurarpana was held as per Vaikhanasa Agama between 6:30pm and 8pm in Ekantam in view of Covid guidelines.

Nani's Daare Leda Music Video, featuring Satya Dev and Roopa is out





Since the beginning of the coronavirus, healthcare workers have shown a remarkable resilience and professional dedication despite a fear of becoming infected and infecting others.


Natural Star Nani comes up with a covid-themed special music video dedicated for doctors who are the frontline heroes. Nani presents the music video under Wall Poster Cinema, and Chai Bisket executed it.

The song Daare Leda starring Satya Dev Kancharana and Roopa Koduvayur has been dropped today in Telugu and Tamil languages.

Both Satya Dev and Roopa are seen as a dedicated doctor couple who work in different shifts, missing each other for long time. But they don’t really feel bad about it.

Finally, when they plan to spend time together on their wedding anniversary, Satya Dev’s reports show he has tested positive for covid-19.

Under these circumstances, he asks his wife to go to the hospital, as according to him nothing is important than serving patients. Nani who appears towards the end of the music video requests everyone to wear mask.

This video embodies the plight of many healthcare workers who missed their family to serve people during these tough times.

Vijay Bulganin has scored the song, while KK has penned the lyrics. Directed by Sumanth Prabhas, cinematography is done by Aditya and Srujana has done the edit .
