Sundararaja Swamy Teppotsavams in Ekantham Held

 




On the second day of the annual Teppotsavams in Tiruchanoor temple, Abhishekam was performed to Sri Sundara Raja Swamy in Ekantam in view of Covid guidelines on Monday.

 

The Abhishekam was performed in Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam between 2pm and 4:30pm.

 

Temple DyEO Smt Kasturi Bai and others participated.

 

Vishnu Pooja Held at Vasantha Mandapam in Tirumala on the occassion of Jyesta Masa

 






As part Jyesta Masa Utsavams, Vishnu Poojarchanam was held at Vasantha Mandapam in Tirumala on Monday.

 

This program was live telecasted between 3:30pm and 4:30pm for the sake of devotees.

 

On the occasion of Jyesta Suddha Ekadasi, this fete was observed amidst religious fervor Rukmini Satyabhama Sameta Sri Krishna Swamy was seated on Chinna Sesha Vahanam and the shlokas from Paramatmikopanishat were recited for 24times by Vedic scholars.

 

It is believed that fasting on this day is equal to having received the fruits of 24 Ekadasis.

15th Edition of Sundarakanda Akhanda Pathanam Held

 





To relieve the humanity from Corona Pandemic, TTD has been conducting Parayana Yagnam from the past 13 months and in this connection, the 15th Edition of Sundarakanda Akhanda Pathanam held at the Nada Neeranjanam platform in Tirumala on Monday.

 

As part of this Akhanda parayanam, 174 shlokas from 59 to 64 sargas from the Epic Sundarakanda were recited by the Vedic pundits of Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham, SV Vedic University, National Sanskrit University and TTD Veda Parayanamdars which was telecasted live on SVBC between 6am and 8 am on Monday for the sake of global devotees.

 

Among the Vedic Scholars Sri KSS Avadhani, Sri Pavana Kumar Sharma, Sri Maruti and many others were present.

Yoga Narasimha Rides Simha Vahanam

 



Yoga Narasimha blessed His devotees on Simha Vahana on the third day morning vahana seva on Monday at Appalayagunta.

 

The ongoing Brahmotsavams witnessed Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy on the ferocious Simha Vahanam.

 

Superintendent Sri Gopalakrishna Reddy and others were present.

Venugopala Rides Chinna Sesha Vahanam

 





On the second day of ongoing annual brahmotsavams at Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple in Appalayagunta, the processional deity dressed as Venugopala Krishna holding a flute in His hand, took celestial ride on Chinna Sesha Vahanam on Sunday morning.

 

Due to Covid restrictions, the Vahana Seva took place in Ekantam.

 

Temple officials were present.

Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy Avatarotsavam Observed

 


The annual Special Sahasra Kalasabhishekam marking the Avatarotsavam of the silver idol of Sri Bhoga Srinivasamurthy was observed with religious fervour in Tirumala temple on Sunday.

 

Every year TTD performs a special Shasra Kalasabhishekam marking the consecration of Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy by Pallava Queen Samavai Perundevi in the year 614 AD. The related inscription can be seen on the wall below Vimana Venkateswara Shrine in the first Prakaram. 

 

This silver idol is part of the Pancha Beras and this is also known as ‘Kautuka Beram’ in Agamic terminology. 

 

TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and others were present.

Teppotsavams Commences

 






The annual Teppotsavams commenced in Tiruchanoor temple in Ekantam in view of Covid guidelines on Sunday.

 

The five-day fete will be observed in the temple premises itself.

 

On the first day Abhishekam was performed to Sri Rukmini Satyabhama Sameta Sri Krishna Swamy in Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam in Tiruchanoor temple between 2pm and 4:30pm.

 

Temple DyEO Smt Kasturi Bai, AEO Sri Prabhakar Reddy and others participated.
