T.Harish Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Finance along with Sri Somesh Kumar,IAS., Chief Secretary to Govt. held a meeting with Bankers at BRKR Bhavan

 

Instances have come to the notice of the government that some banks are not allowing the farmers to withdraw their Rythu Bandhu amount given by the Government of Telangana and also adjusting the same against old dues.  Honourable Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekar Rao issued directions to hold an emergency meeting with the bankers in this regard. 

Accordingly, the Minister for Finance Shri T Harish Rao along with Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar IAS held an emergency meeting with the bankers at BRKR Bhavan today.

Bankers responded that no such instructions to withhold the Rythu Bandhu funds were issued.  Honourable Minister issued clear instructions to the bankers not to withhold any of the Rythu Bandhu amount in future.  Any amount which has been withheld/adjusted shall be credited back to the farmers account.  Strict instructions shall be issued to the bank branches by the bankers regarding the same.  District Collectors were also instructed to monitor the same at the district level.  A state level team will monitor any issues faced by farmers .

 Two toll free numbers -  18002001001 and 04033671300 to address any issues faced by farmers which will work from 8AM to 8 PM is set up.  In addition, Minister also instructed the bankers to expedite the disbursement/renewal of crop loans.

Baala Gaana Gandharvulu ( BGG ). Magic 106.4 FM’s musical tribute to SPB through Kids Singing contest.

 




 

This year SPB’s birth anniversary ( June 4 ) and World Music Day ( June 21 )  is celebrated by Magic FM in a very special and unique way. We organized a singing competition among children in memory of the singing legend SPB. The children has sung the songs of only SPB in this contest. The motive behind BGG is to introduce SPB’s music and and the rich culture of his legacy to this generation kids. This is a twenty day activity promoted on Magic 106.4 FM. The entire selection process of this contest took place online. Participants were asked to send their videos through watsapp and to our digital pages.

 

BGG was loved and promoted by SPB’s son SP Charan along side other celebrities like KOTI, RP Patnaik, MM Srilekha, KM Radhakrishnan etc. Hundreds of entries poured in starting from as young as 5 years to 15 year old children from which  TOP 10 were selected. Music Director RP Patnaik is the judge of BGG and selected the Top 5. The Top 5 are Priyanka Prabhakaran, Sanjana, Venkata Srikeerthi, Dhruva Prajwal, Thanvi and the winners are Priyanka Prabhakaran and Sanjana.

 

On World Music Day RJ Ravali, RJ Kalyan, RJ Naughty Nani, RJ Prateeka presented the trophies to the Top 5 and the winners were awarded with 5000/- worth gift vouchers as well in Magic 106.4 FM studio.
