'Popcorn' Motion Poster unveiled on Avika Gor's birthday



It's known that a film is being made in the direction of prominent Ad filmmaker Murali Naga Srinivas Gandham, with Sai Ronak and Avika Gor as the lead pair. Producer Madhupalli Bhogendra Gupta of Acharya Creations (of the critically-acclaimed 'Napolean' fame) is producing it as Production No. 3. Avika Gor is debuting as a co-producer of the movie on her banner Avika Screen Creations. MS Chalapathi Raju is its other co-producer. 'Popcorn' has been confirmed as the title of the promising project. On Wednesday (June 30), marking Avika Gor's birthday, its title and motion poster were released.


Acharya Creations is producing it prestigiously. Avika Gor turning into a producer is a special feature of the movie. Director Murali Naga Srinivas Gandham has got hands-on experience of 18 years as an Ad filmmaker and owns an Ad agency as well. He is debuting as a director with 'Popcorn'. Avika Gor came forward to produce the movie upon immensely liking the story. The audience's expectations from 'Popcorn' are therefore very high. The motion poster has lived up to the expectations and Netizens are lauding it on the Internet ever since it was released today. Going by the still of the lead pair, 'Popcorn' seems to be a new-age love story with a difference.

Speaking about the movie, producer Bhogendra Gupta said, "We wish Avika Gor a happy birthday. Our film has got a novel story and a distinct screenplay. We are happy to have collaborated with Avika Gor. Shravan Bharadwaj is composing the music. The details of the rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon."

Director Murali Naga Srinivas Gandham said, "The film is a melodrama. A girl and boy, who have immense hatred towards each other, get stuck in an inescapable situation. Before the atypical situation in their lives, they were strangers. How did they pass time in the inescapable situation? What did they do when the situation turned fatal? What followed next? That's the crux of the story."

East Coast Productions announces 'Sabhaku Namaskaram' with Allari Naresh as hero

Allari Naresh, who earlier this year pulled off a super duper hit with 'Naandhi' and won the applause of both audiences and critics for his versatile performance, has joined hands with East Coast Productions. 'Sabhaku Namaskaram' is the title of their movie together. On the occasion of Naresh's birthday today (June 30), the makers have unveiled the title poster. Sateesh Mallampati is going to debut as a director with this promising project. This 58th movie of Naresh is produced by Mahesh Koneru. 


The title poster features Naresh standing on the dais with his hands raised in a 'Namaskaram' posture in front of the mic. In one of his pockets are seen wads of currency, while a liquor bottle pops out from the other pocket. 'Sabhaku Namaskaram' is being made as a political entertainer that takes a dig at the ways of political parties at the time of elections. This is the first time that Naresh is doing a subject of this sort. 

Abburi Ravi, who has penned sharp lines for several movies over the years, is on board to write dialogues. The film will go on the floors in the second half of September.

Virtural Seva Quota Released in Online


TTD has released virtual Arjita Seva tickets in online for the month of July on Tuesday.

 

The devotees who booked the Arjita Seva tickets including Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjita Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva shall have to witness the Seva in their houses.

 

Apart from Arjita sevas, the devotees have to book Rs. 300 tickets separately to avail darshan while Kalyanotsavam devotees need not have to pay for Rs. 300 tickets but have to book their darshan slot alone.

 

The devotees are requested to make note of this and book their arjita Seva virtual tickets in online. 

 

Sundararaja Swamy Annual Utsavams Commences





The annual Avatarotsavams of Sri Sundararaja Swamy at Tiruchanoor commenced on Tuesday.

 

Snapana Tirumanjanam to Sridevi, Bhudevi sameta Sri Sundararajaswamy was performed between 2:30pm and 4pm followed by Unjal Seva between 6pm and 7pm.

 

Superintendent Sri Seshagiri and others were also present in this utsavam held in Ekantam in view of Covid.

Universities join the Governor’s Mission to Support and Empower Primitive Tribal Groups





















Hyderabad, June 29: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Tuesday appreciated the universities for their willingness to join hands in her initiative to improve the nutritional status and empower the people belonging to the primitive tribal groups in the State.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, who is also the Chancellor of the State universities, held an elaborate meeting with the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) authorities, Vice-Chancellors of four universities, and the functionaries of the Indian Red Cross Society, ESIC Medical College, and the National Institute of Nutrition scientists at Raj Bhavan, here.

She exhorted them to come out with practical interventional methods and get into the action to address the health, nutritional, and other developmental gaps among the primitive tribal groups found in a joint survey by the NIN, ESIC medical college, and the Raj Bhavan earlier

“I am concerned that there are many health and nutritional gaps among the primitive tribal people. We must improve their nutritional and health status, while empowering them through capacity building and linkages,” she added.

The Governor asked the Agricultural, Horticultural, and Veterinary universities to train the tribal population in farming methods and help them develop through agriculture, animal husbandry, and horticulture.

“Though they (primitive tribal people) have lands, water, and other resources, they are not cultivating their lands on their own. Instead, they are working as labourers in their own lands. The capacity-building trainings, and input supplies need to be expedited so as economically empower them,” she added.

The Governor also directed the Kaloji Narayana Rao University Health Sciences, ESIC Medical College, and the NIN to work for the improvement of health and nutritional status of the tribal people through their interventions and services.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan also called for the vaccination of all the primitive tribal people by taking our services to their doorstep. “It is important to protect them as they are the most vulnerable sections. I suggest time-bound action plan to get tangible results so as to support the underprivileged sections,” she said.

The Governor listened to the presentations detailing their interventional strategies made by the universities, NIN, ESIC Medical College, and the IRCS functionaries.

The initiative to improve the nutritional status and empower the primitive tribal groups through enabling and capacity-building activities will be taken up in select tribal habitations in Adilabad, Nagarkurnool, and Bhadradri-Kothagudem districts on a pilot basis.

The pilot programme is aimed at helping the people belonging to Chenchu, Konda Reddi, and Kollam tribes.

Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar, IAS visited Government Hospital at Kondapur today and inspected the infrastructure works.  Hyderabad based Raheja group as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative has taken up this project.

Chief Secretary asked the officials to expedite the works so as to make it fully operational by providing all the human resources and other logistics.  Officials briefed about the progress of the work.

RRR nears completion; NTR & Charan start dubbing




It’s time for a massive update about the most-awaited Indian film ever! RRR, the biggest multistarrer the nation has ever seen, is fast progressing towards completion. A fictional take on the lives of celebrated Indian freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, RRR has been shot across locations in Hyderabad, where massive sets have been erected to take the audience to another era.

And now, director SS Rajamouli and the film’s team have wrapped up the talkie portions of the film and are scheduled to shoot a couple of songs that will mark the end of the shoot. Simultaneous post-production has begun and the film’s lead stars NTR and Ram Charan have completed dubbing in both Telugu and Tamil and will be moving on to other languages soon.

Also starring Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Olivia Morris amongst others, the film has been progressing with COVID protocols in place to ensure the safety of all the members on the sets.

RRR is India’s biggest film and has a star cast that pans across languages. The film is set for a release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada amongst many other languages. Produced by DVV Danayya on the DVV Entertainment banner, the film has been produced on a massive budget of ₹450 crores. 

RRR will hit the screens worldwide on 13th October 2021 subject to COVID circumstances.
