The serene and green environs of Tirumala need to be safeguarded said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

 

The EO inspected various places in Tirumala on Friday. Later speaking to media persons he said, Pavitra Gardens are coming up at Sila Toranam. The uniqueness of these gardens is that they grow the plants that are mentioned in Puranas that will be utilized in the Kainkaryam of Srivaru.

 

He said soon the civil works at rest houses under renovation, Alipiri footpath will be completed for the benefit of devotees. Greenery will be developed in the space between footpaths and cottages and a committee with Garden, Forest and Health department officials has been constituted to study the possibilities. Shade Grass will be developed in the locations where concrete debris is removed near cottages. He said Srivari Pushpa Vanam is also coming up in a 5acre area near Bata Gangamma Gudi at Tirumala.

 

He said the accommodation booking system has been simplified for devotees from June 12 onwards opening registration counters at six places.


Earlier, he inspected the greenery works underway at various places in Tirumala, Drainage system, renovation works near Rambhageecha, counters in CRO, Bomb Disposable Team building under construction, Pavitra Udyanavanams at Sila Toranam etc. and instructed the concerned on the improvements to be carried out.

Earlier in his address, Tirupati Legislator and former TTD Trust Board Chairman and member Sri B Karunakar Reddy said that the opportunity to work in TTD is because of the good virtues of one's past life. "As per Hindu Dharma, after taking 84lakh births, the almighty blesses us with human life. Taking birth in India, that too in Tirupati and getting recruited in TTD means, its a fruit that He has given to all of you following your pious deeds in your earlier births. So make use of this divine opportunity and render selfless services and enhance the reputation of the institution", he added.

 

While rendering Vote of Thanks, JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi said special training will be given to these candidates at SVETA from July 15 onwards and asked all of them to make use of this training programme to brush up their skills.

 

The appointment orders were given to all the 118 candidates by EO, MLA and JEO on the occasion.

 

Compassionate appointments included 91 men and 27 women for the postings in Junior Assistant, Assistant, OSOs, Muzdoor, MPWs, Cleaner, Helper etc. cadres.

Sekhar Kammula And Producers Of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP Meet Dhanush





The official announcement of a multi-lingual film of Kollywood superstar Dhanush and Tollywood's sensible director Sekhar Kammula has caught everyone's fancy. The craziest project which will be produced on a grand scale by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao on Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (A Unit Of Asian Group) as Production No 4, will be shot and released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.


The makers of the film, director Sekhar Kammula and producers - Narayandas Narang, Sunil Narang, Bharat Narang, and P Ram Mohan have met Dhanush earlier today in Hyderabad. The Superstar is currently in Hyderabad for the shooting of his next, #D43.

The film which ticks all boxes of a story with Universal appeal and the highly-talented actor-director duo will be presented by Sonali Narang. The team is in talks with some very big names of various languages and a top-notch technical team which will be announced very soon.  The film is likely to go on floors sometime this year. Other details of the project will be unveiled later.

Counters Management to Go ina Professional Way





To offer more transparent services to visiting pilgrims, TTD has mulled Counters which have pilgrim interface to be operated in a more professional way.

 

Opening gates for this new Counters Management System at Laddu Counters in Tirumala on Thursday, TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said TTD called for tenders towards the supply of manpower for the operation of counters in a professional way. KVM Info from Bengaluru has come forward quoting the lowest price.

 

Henceforth all the counters 164 counters which have the pilgrim interface in Tirumala including Laddu, VQC Scanning, SED counters and also SSD counters at Tirupati and Alipiri Toll Gate will also be operated by this agency. A manpower of 430 to run all these counters in three shifts are required.

 

These personnel are being imparted training for a week to work in all counters. Their wages will be as per Government Minimum Wages norms along with EPF and ESI benefits. They will be allotted duties at all counters on a rotation basis to avoid self motives.

 

To start with, the operations in Laddu Counters are commenced from today onwards. The entire operations will be under strict vigil to avoid any sort of mis- appropriation and inconvenience to pilgrims, he added.

 

Earlier the Additional EO also verified the distribution process in the laddu counters.

Doctors are the saviours of the world now: Governor




Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Thursday termed the doctors as the real saviours of the world now.

“The doctors are making numerous sacrifices and thousands of them have lost their lives while fighting against this deadly COVID-19 pandemic. They are the true saviours of life and the world now. The medical fraternity is working in highly challenging times,” she said.

The Governor was speaking at a virtual event, organised by the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Hyderabad City branch, on the occasion of the National Doctors Day-2021.

She said the doctors and the healthcare workers have been showing exemplary dedication and selfless service in treating and saving millions of lives affected by the COVID-19 all over the world.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan stated that the National Doctors Day is an occasion to recognise, remember, and honour the selfless services of the doctors in the country.

“It is an occasion to express our gratitude to the doctors for their services and sacrifices. Lack of medical infrastructure or any other facilities did not deter the doctors’ determination to save the precious lives,” she added.

The Governor said that the she herself as a doctor fully empathises with the emotions and condition of the doctors working in these testing and challenging times.

Remembering the services of Bharat Ratna late Dr. BC Roy, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as the National Doctors Day, she paid rich tributes to him.

Nani's Shyam Singha Roy Last Shooting Schedule Begins In Hyderabad


Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy is one of the most anticipated films. First look poster of Nani as well as Sai Pallavi received good response. Director Rahul Sankrityan is making the film prestigiously to offer a whole new experience to Telugu audiences, as the story is very unique.


Art director Avinash Kolla has renovated the massive set depicting Kolkata in a 10-acre land in Hyderabad that was damaged due to heavy rains. Currently, the makers are canning important scenes of the film in the set. Nani is taking part in the ongoing last shooting schedule. In the poster released by the makers, Nani is seen in khaki outfit, wherein there are lots of people with tridents in their hands.

Nani will be seen in a never-seen-before role in the film produced lavishly by Venkat Boyanapalli. Three beautiful heroines Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian are playing female leads and several top-notch technicians working for the film.

Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma and Abhinav Gomatam play important roles in the film.
