SVBC Channel to Give Wide Publicity on Annamacharay Sankeertans



The Sankeertans of Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya should be given wide publicity in SVBC and competitions to be held for youth in both Telugu states said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

 

A meeting was held in Sri Padmavathi Rest House at Tirupati on Friday evening on how to popularize Annamaiah Sankeertans through SVBC.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the EO said competitions in Annamacharya Sankeertans shall be conducted to the youth of two Telugu states and popularise them in a wide spread manner. He said competitions shall be conducted district wise after carrying out a screening test.

 

These competitions will be held in Hyderabad and Tirupati SVBC studios and final competitions will be held in Tirupati. The competitions will be among the 4000 Annamaiah Sankeertans was brought to light by TTD in recent years. The search of young talent is to bring to fore the remaining Sankeertans of Annamacharya", he maintained.

 

Similarly to make youth and next-gen aware of Vedic sciences, maths, astrology, etc. a the unique program "Vedam Jeevanadam" will be telecasted weekly twice on SVBC during prime slots.

 

With a mission to make Tirumala, a plastic-free zone, jingles are prepared by SVBC which will be promoted for the information of the global pilgrims at regular intervals.

 

SVBC CEO Sri Saikrishna Yachendra, MD Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CEO Sri Suresh Kumar, SVVU VC Sri S Sudarshana Sharma were also present.

TTD on A Divine Mission to Save Devi Bovine






 With a noble aim to protect and promote Desi Cow breeds TTD has decided to introduce a new seva, "Navaneeta Seva" and involve more philanthropists in this Goseva activity, said the Specified Authority Chairman and TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy. 

The maiden meeting of the Specified Authority of TTD was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday under the Chairmanship of TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy along with the Convenor and Additional EO of TTD Sri AV Dharma Reddy.

Briefing media persons, after the meeting, the Chairman said, as a part of its divine mission of saving Desi Bovine, the meeting has deliberated on three important tasks which includes protection and promotion of Desi breeds, Goadharita Naivedyam to Srivaru and promotion of organic farming with Cow products (Panchagavya).

The EO also said, we have also negotiated with the experts in SV Veterinary University in Tirupati, to ink a pact on breeding policies, feed mixing and embryo transfer technology to promote Desi Cow breeds. Already we have contemplated commencing the sale of Agarbattis with organic products in Tirumala from August 15 onwards and some other panchagavya products in next three or four months'',  he added.

The EO also briefed on some other important  decisions which includes the following:

* Printing of 2022 Calendars and Diaries of TTD

12-sheet calendars -15lakhs, Deluxe Diaries - 8lakhs, Small Diaries - 2lakhs

*As a part protecting the environs of Tirumala,  Deployment of electric vehicles in the place of Diesel/Petrol vehicles in a phased manner. To start with, 35 battery cars will be procured through Public Sector unit M/s Energy Efficiency Service Limited(EESL) on a trial basis.

* Development works of certain temples in the state of Andhra Pradesh from SRIVANI Trust funds at Rs.8.94cr upon the advice of Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. Reconstruction of Sri Sita Ramaswamy Temple in Nellore district at Rs.80lakhs.

*Procurement of Surveillance CCCameras and X-Ray Baggage Scanners as a measure of beefing up security

* Supply and installation of High-end Flat Detector Cathlab system and procurement of Heart-Lung Machine in SV Paediatric Hospital coming up in the Old Block of BIRRD 

*To modernize the TTD Printing Press inviting EoI under PPP with some specific guidelines

* Revamping of Editorial Board of Sapthagiri Magazine with stalwart scholars

Pavitrotsavams Concludes in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Temple





The annual Pavitrotsavams concluded in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple in Tirupati on Friday evening.

 

Due to covid restrictions, this festival was observed in Ekantam.

 

On the last day, the three day festival came to an end with Maha Purnahuti.

Nithiin, Merlapaka Gandhi, Sreshth Movies Maestro Vennello Aadapilla Song Out



Hero Nithiin’s upcoming black comedy crime thriller Maestro is set for direct OTT release on Disney + Hotstar. The landmark 30th film of Nithiin skips theatrical release owing to covid situations. Merlapaka Gandhi has directed the film, while Mahati Swara Sagar has rendered soundtracks.


After teasing with a promo, the makers have released full song of Vennello Aadapilla. Nithiin and Nabha Natesh feature in this beautiful melody that has appealing vocals from Sweekar Agasthi.

The song begins with Nabha expressing her shock to see Nithiin performing at a foreign location and then in the flashback episodes we can see wonderful love story of the two in the backdrop of Goa.

Interesting aspect is the song discloses many surprises in the film. It also introduces all the major cast of the film including Tamannaah Bhatia, Jishhusen Gupta and Mangli.

Mahati Swara Sagar has scored another chartbuster number which will connect instantly to listeners. Sreejo and Krishna Chaitanya have penned the lyrics for the song.

N Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy are producing the film under Shreshth Movies Banner, while Rajkumar Akella is presenting it. The film has cinematography by J Yuvraj.

The Dikshant Parade of 72nd batch of IPS Officer trainees was held today at the Academy

 The Dikshant Parade of 72nd batch of IPS Officer trainees was held today at  the Academy. Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Nityanand  Rai was the Chief Guest for the event and took the Salute of the Diskhant Parade,  which was led by the Ms. Ranjeeta Sharma, the best all-round topper of the batch.  

178 officer trainees passed out from the Academy today including 34 officer  trainees from friendly countries of Nepal, Maldives, Mauritius and Bhutan. Dikshant  Parade marks the culmination of the basic training of the IPS Officer at the Academy.  

The 178 officer trainees on parade included 144 Officer Trainees of Indian  Police Service, including 23 lady officer trainees and 21 officer trainees belonging to  71st batch, and 34 foreign officers trainees, including 12 from Bhutan, 10 from Nepal,  7 from Maldives and 5 from Mauritius.  

Shri Atul Karwal IPS, Director of the SVP National Police Academy, in his  welcome and introductory speech, elaborated the various training sessions and  modules undergone by the passing out trainees. He said “the officer trainees on  Parade are at the threshold of their challenging careers and they will flourish and  bloom into officers with high standards of professionalism and sterling values”. 



















Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Nityanand Rai  presented The Prime Minister’s Baton and Home Ministry’s Revolver to  Ms. Ranjeeta Sharma for being the best all-round probationer. Ms. Ranjeeta Sharma,  is also the first lady IPS Officer Trainee to ever win the IPS Association’s Sword of  Honour, which is awarded for best performance in Outdoor training. The Hon’ble  Union Minister of State also presented trophies to several other officer trainees who  showed exemplary performance during the training at the Academy.  

In his address, the Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Home Affairs,  Shri Nityanand Rai, said that the country is facing numerous challenges through  Terrorism, Communalism and crimes against women and children and called for the  Officer Trainees to take up these challenges with vigour by keeping the National  Tri-colour and Service to the Society in mind. He urged the passing out officer  trainees to uphold justice and freedom of the society and to provide  transformational leadership for the police force.  

Earlier, before the parade the Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Home  Affairs, Shri Nityanand Rai laid wreath and paid homage to the Martyrs of Indian  Police Service who laid down their lives in the service of the Nation and also paid  tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.

Sharwanand, Siddharth, Ajay Bhupathi, AK Entertainment’s Maha Samudram Hey Rambha Song Unveiled




It’s a rare scenario that, every update of a film becomes a sensation and it’s happening for Maha Samudram which is one of the most awaited films of this year. Promising actors- Sharwanand, Siddharth, talented director Ajay Bhupathi and established production house AK Entertainments are working together as a team for this biggest action extravaganza.


Even a small promo to announce to kick-start musical promotions has also garnered remarkable response. Chaitan Bharadwaj has rendered the songs and the promo of first single Hey Rambha hinted it’s not a regular mass number and it’s a tribute to evergreen actress Rambha.

Even the composition is not a typical ‘special’ number. The song has a special charm with danceable beats. Rambha’s glamorous cut-outs, banners and photos are everywhere in the song and it’s like Rambha’s fans association celebrating her birthday as a grand bash.

Sharwanand and Jagapathi Babu can be seen expressing their devotion for Rambha. Both appeared in mass avatars and their dances are fun to watch.

Chaitan Bharadwaj himself has crooned the number remarkably, while lyrics are penned by Bhaskara Bhatla. Jani master has choreographed the song which is going to be the mass number of the year. Production design looks grand.

Tipped to be an intense love and action drama, Sunkara Ramabrahmam bankrolls the film under AK Entertainments banner.

Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel are the female leads in the film.

Raj Thota cranks the camera, while Chaitan Bharadwaj renders the soundtracks and Praveen KL is the editor. Kolla Avinash is the production designer.

Maha Samudram has wrapped up its entire shoot and the film is getting ready for theatrical release.

Thursday, August 5, 2021: The countdown to the launch has  begun and fans across the world are waiting for the global launch of Navarasa, the biggest anthology film by Netflix. To add to the excitement and give everyone a taste of the nine emotions showcased in the film, Netflix hosted the ultimate global fan event - “SYMPHONY OF EMOTIONS” - a confluence of talent, emotions and music.

Fans and media from across the world tuned into the virtual gala, with the cast and crew of this path-breaking film. The film marks a glorious and unmatched moment for entertainment in India bringing together the Tamil film industry led by iconic filmmakers Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan. Symphony Of Emotions kicked off with a heartfelt address by Dhivyadharshini who thanked the fans for being there and supporting the creators in this journey. The event was a fundraiser to support the musicians performing film music on-stage whose livelihoods were adversely impacted  by Covid-19. It was a culmination of the efforts made by the actors and makers of Navarasa who did the project pro-bono, donating their fee to relief efforts. 

Fans not only got a chance to see the powerhouse of talent up close, they also witnessed power-packed performances. True to its name, Symphony Of Emotions showcased acts by extremely talented musicians from across the industry. These include flute virtuoso Naveen Kumar, Abhishek Kumar, K C Loy, Viveick Rajagopalan, Piyush Rajani & The Fine Tuners, Mahesh Raghvan, Nandini Shankar, Saasha Tirupathi, Anantha R Krishnan, Ricky Kej, Kunal Naik and headlined by a 50-member voice choir performance led by the living legend A R Rahman. 

The creators, actors, directors, and musicians from various segments of the anthology joined the event virtually and indulged in banter, and engaging conversations throughout the evening. Fueling the Navarasa love, 46 graced the screens and shared interesting anecdotes from their filming experience. 

Addressing the crowd gathered for the celebration Mani Ratnam said, “We are thankful to everyone that has joined this evening and we are proud of the work that all the talent has done on the film. Navarasa has been a pleasure because we were in capable hands. ”  

Adding to it Jayendra Panchapakesan said, “The directors, actors and technicians worked through the intense second wave of Covid-19 and everyone put their heart and soul into this project. We wanted to make lots of films to support more people and wanted more people in the industry to participate in it. In fact Mani even suggested  that we should find a 10th rasa if that means bringing more people on board.”

Based on nine rasas or human emotions - anger, compassion, courage, disgust, fear, laughter, love, peace and wonder - Navarasa is the coming together of the spectacular creative community of Tamil cinema, marking a larger than life cultural moment for the entertainment industry in India.
