Covid Compelling TTD to Issue Limited Darshan Tickets



TTD Executive Officer Dr KS Jawahar Reddy today said that TTD shall issue limited number of darshan tickets till the WHO de notified Carona spread every.

 

Addressing the monthly Dial-Your-EO program at the TTD Administrative building on Saturday morning, the TTD EO said in spite of Covid crisis TTD has continued all of its dharmic and religious programs without a break and in partnership with devotees.

.

Following are highlights of the program as below.

 

DEVOTEES DARSHAN INITIATIVES

 

-       TTD appealed to devotees coming Srivari darshan to follow all Covid precautions in view d Center and state governments alerts on third wave of Covid.

 

-       Depending on intensity of Covid the release of SED (special entry Darshan) tickets will be decided.

 

-       On devotee appeal the online SED quota has been hiked from 5000 to 8000 tickets for August month.

 

ACCOMODATION ALLOTMENT COUNTERS

 

-       -On devotees request advance Accommodation allotment counters are now set up at Alipiri tollgate, and Srivari Mettu footpath routes as well.

 

-       After devotees scan their allotment slips at Alipiri tollgate SMS confirmation will be sent within 30 minute for those on bus or own vehicles, 3 hours for those on Alipiri footpath, and 2 hours for those on Srivari Mettu footpath routes.

 

-       In case FB current booking, if the devotees approach any of six counters besides the CRO, they shall get confirmation. SMS within 15 minutes.

 

-       Presently Devotees not allowed on the Alipiri footpath route in view of top slab works which is slated for completion by September.

 

COMPLAINANT TRACKING SYSTEM

 

-       TTD has prepared a Complainant tracking system to resolve and process devotees complaints and suggestions on pilgrims facilities within 30 minutes of filing complaints.

 

-       Mobile number 9989078111 for accommodation complaints is already given in stickers in each room.

 

COMPREHENSIVE BOOK ON ANJANEYA BIRTHPLACE

 

-       A comprehensive book on Anjaneya birthplace with all puranic, historical and archaeological evidences as affirmed by researchers, puranic pundits, pontiffs etc. and endorsed at the international webinar held on July 30,31 shall be published soon.

 

-       TTD has already sent a proposal to the state Endowment department to handover the Anjaneya temple at Japali to TTD.

 

-       Gold lacing of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple vimana

 

-       From September 14 onwards the TTD will take up gold lacing of the vimana of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple and complete it by May 2022.

 

-       There shall be no break devotees Darshan and all daily rituals of Swami shall be held at the temple Kalyana Mandapam.

 

AGARNBATTI’s PRODUCTION

 

-       TTD shall begin sale of incense sticks or agarbatti’s made from used flower garlands of all TTD temples from August 15. They produced with six brand names by the Bangalore basss concern - M/s Darshan International ltd.

 

PANCHAGAVYA PRODUCTS

 

-       In collaboration with Coimbatore based M/s Ashirwad Pharmacy TTD plans to produce 15 Pancha gavya products like soaps, shampoo.

 

-       Dhoop sticks, floor cleaner in next four months. The DPW store building, will be used for the production and the revenue is used for protection of Desi breed genetic Cows.

 

ORGANIC AND COW BASED PRODUCTS FOR SRIVARI NAIVEDYAM

 

-       TTD has commenced use of organic and products like rice, Vegetable, jaggery, pulses used inAnna Prasadam grown with with cow-based manures for Srivari naivedyam.

 

-       TTD has hired and coopted the veterinary experts in protection and promotion of desi breed at its Tirumala, Tirupati and Palamner goshala and Gosamrakshana Trust

 

-       TTD also contemplating to buy 7 tonnes of groundnut from farmers of Rayalaseema by promoting Go based farming methods.

 

 

-       In collaboration with SV Veterinary University at Tirupati, TTD plans to set up a animal fodder plant and also sign an MoU for promoting generic sperm implant of desi breed.

TIRUMALA FESTIVALS

 

-       Garuda vahana of Sri Malayappa on (Garuda panchami) and (Shravana panchami).

 

-       Pavitrotsavam at Srivari Temple from August 18-20and Ankurarpanam on August 17.

 

SPECIAL PROGRAMS ON SVBC

 

-       Sakala Karya Siddi Srimad Ramayana Parayanams

 

-       TTD is observing Sakala Karya Siddi Srimad Ramayana Parayanams from July 25 onwards for prosperity of humanity.

 

-       The program held at Tirumala Vasantha Mandapams under aegis of Dharmagiri Veda vijnan peetham with 32 Veda pundits shall continue till August 23.

 

ATHARVANA VEDA PARAYANAMS AT RANGANAYAKULA MANDAPAMS

 

-       The Atharvana Veda Parayanams at Ranganayakula Mandapams at Srivari Temple from April 13,2020 for global prosperity.

 

-       As of now the parayanams of Rigveda, Yajurveda and Samaveda chapters are completed.

 

SUNDARAKANDA PARAYANAMS COMPLETED

 

-       The Sundarakanda parayanams comprising of 2831: slokas of 68 sargas over 409 days held at Nada Niranjanam platform concluded on July 24.

 

-       Similarly the balakanda parayanams has commenced from July 25.

 

-       Kanakambara Sahita Koti Mallepushpa Mahayagam of Sri Mahalakshmi observed in the Sri Padmavati temple, Tiruchanoor

 

-       For economic and social welfare of humanity from pandemic Corona, the TTD organised Kanakambara Sahita Koti Mallepushpa Mahayagam of Sri Mahalakshmi observed in the Sri Padmavati temple, Tiruchanoor from July 16- 24.

 

-       Special puja programs were held for well being of humanity.

-       Special festivities during Karthika, Dhanur, Magha, Phalguna, Chaitra, Jyesta, Ashada puja programs organised by TTD and live telecast by SVBC have earned popularity among devotees.

 

-       TTD organised Jyestabhisekam utsava in Srivari temple from June 22-24.

-       Vishnu Archana was performed at Tirumala Vasantha Mandapam on July 20 on the Shukla Ekadasi day.

-       Garuda Panchami on August 13,Varalakshmi vratam on August 20, and Shravana pournami onAugust 22.

-       TTD plans to conduct more of similar festivities after COVID-19 season ended.

HON’BLE GOVERNOR DR. TAMILISAI SOUNDARARAJAN RELEASES SPECIAL COVERS ON GI TAG PRODUCTS OF TELANGANA AND LAUNCHES “e-Shop” - TELANGANA POSTAL CIRCLE’s eCOMMERCE WEBSITE

The State of Telangana has rich cultural heritage and is known for its unique traditional arts, handicrafts, traditional foods that has evolved over the centuries. Geographical Indication (GI) has been an important tool to protect these products by way of registration. Geographical Indication of Goods and products share a link between the product and its specific place of origin along with its uniqueness, human skill and artistry involved.

Geographical Indications can offer a comprehensive framework for rural development since they can positively encompass issues of economic competitiveness, stake holder equity, environmental stewardship, and socio-cultural value. Geographical Indication also increases the contribution of handloom and handicrafts to the export earnings.

13 products of Telangana have been bestowed with Geographical Indication status as a distinct form Intellectual Property Rights under WTO.

By release of Special Covers, Department of Posts intends to spread awareness about the Geographical Indication products. 4 covers were released on 23rd Jan, 2021. Presently, 5 Special Covers on Nirmal Furniture, Narayanpet Handloom Saris, Warangal Durries, Hyderabad Haleem and Siddipet Gollabhama Saris are being released.

 

a) Gollabhama Saris

Siddipet Gollabhama Saris are known for the use of Gollabhama (milkmaid) motifs that are woven into the fabric. Siddipet Gollabhama Sari was recognized with GI tag on 19.03.2012.

b) Narayanpet Handloom Saris

Narayanpet handloom saris have a distinct style of checked body, patterned border and a simple pallu. Narayanpet Handloom Sari was recognized with GI tag on 04.03.2013

c) Warangal Durries

The designs that are characteristic of Warangal durries are geometric, angular motifs used in tapestry weave structures and coloured horizontal stripes used on mats (jamkhans).Warangal Durrie was recognized with GI tag on 18.05.2018

d) Hyderabad Haleem

Hyderabad Haleem is a meat stew prepared during the holy Islamic month of Ramzan for consumption after the dawn to dusk fasting (roza). Hyderabad Haleem was recognized with GI tag on 03.09.2010

e) Nirmal Furniture

Nirmal Furniture, made of teak, does not use nails. Only wooden pegs and adhesives are used for assembling the furniture. Nirmal furniture was recognized with GI tag on 09.09.2008

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana releases 5 Special Covers and launches sale of GI product through “eShop” Telangana Postal Circle’s eCommerce portal (www.eshop.tsposts.in) in presence of Sri S Rajendra Kumar, Chief Postmaster General, Telangana Circle and other dignitaries at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad.

On this occasion Hon’ble Governor madam appreciated the efforts of Telangana Postal Circle for conceiving this novel thought of issuing special covers on GI Tag products and their sale through “eShop” portal. This initiative not only supports some art norms, but also makes them “Atmanirbhar”.

On this occasion, Sri S Rajendra Kumar, Chief Postmaster General, Telangana Circle  elucidated the importance of Geographical Indication of Goods and Products  and its contribution to promotion of National and International Tourism,  contribution of handloom and handicrafts to export earning which in turns promotes economic prosperity of the producers and goods produced in the Geographical territory.

He also expressed that Department of Posts has taken responsibility to spread awareness about 324 Geographical Indication products in India and also feel it as its moral responsibility to pay tribute to Artisans of these Region Specific Products and today’s event is one such effort in that direction.

The State Broadband Committee meeting held under the Chairmanship of Sri Somesh Kumar, I.A.S., Chief Secretary to Govt. at BRKR Bhavan

The 3rd State Broadband Committee (SBC) meeting held today at BRKR Bhavan under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar,IAS  reviewed the progress achieved by various departments in strengthening digital infrastructure in the state. 

Chief Secretary instructed the officials to expedite the integration work of new online web portal which would ensure transparency and much needed visibility.  The issues pertaining to erection of poles, increasing tower density, increasing fiberisation and utilization of Bharat Net were discussed in the meeting

SVBC Channel to Give Wide Publicity on Annamacharay Sankeertans



The Sankeertans of Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya should be given wide publicity in SVBC and competitions to be held for youth in both Telugu states said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

 

A meeting was held in Sri Padmavathi Rest House at Tirupati on Friday evening on how to popularize Annamaiah Sankeertans through SVBC.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the EO said competitions in Annamacharya Sankeertans shall be conducted to the youth of two Telugu states and popularise them in a wide spread manner. He said competitions shall be conducted district wise after carrying out a screening test.

 

These competitions will be held in Hyderabad and Tirupati SVBC studios and final competitions will be held in Tirupati. The competitions will be among the 4000 Annamaiah Sankeertans was brought to light by TTD in recent years. The search of young talent is to bring to fore the remaining Sankeertans of Annamacharya", he maintained.

 

Similarly to make youth and next-gen aware of Vedic sciences, maths, astrology, etc. a the unique program "Vedam Jeevanadam" will be telecasted weekly twice on SVBC during prime slots.

 

With a mission to make Tirumala, a plastic-free zone, jingles are prepared by SVBC which will be promoted for the information of the global pilgrims at regular intervals.

 

SVBC CEO Sri Saikrishna Yachendra, MD Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CEO Sri Suresh Kumar, SVVU VC Sri S Sudarshana Sharma were also present.
