Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Sree Lakshmi Narasimha Productions 'Stuartpuram Donga' Announced

 


Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’ love for action films is known to all. He is making his Bollywood debut with Chatrapathi remake being directed by VV Vinayak. The film’s shooting was commenced recently in Hyderabad.


In the meantime, Bellamkonda has signed another exciting project and it is announced officially through the title poster. Titled Stuartpuram Donga, the film is a biopic of ‘Tiger’ Nageswara Rao, a notorious and courageous thief of Stuartpuram in the 1970’s.

The life and times of Nageswara Rao, known for his smart way of escape from police and prison too, will come alive on the big screen. In fact, it was one such escape from a Chennai jail that gave him the moniker of ‘Tiger’. The infamous robber was finally shot dead by the police in 1987.

This piece of information may be a surprise for the starters that Nageswara Rao’s photo still hangs at the main door of his house in Stuartpuram and it is a popular tourist spot.

In short, the life story of ‘Tiger’ Nageswara Rao is a perfect cinema material and Bellamkonda is obviously the right choice for 'Stuartpuram Donga'. It indeed is an apt title for the film on the most wanted thief.

Coming to the title poster, a steam train can be seen emitting smoke, as it passes a village, perhaps Stuartpuram. As we can see in the poster, the film’s shooting starts soon.

Mass director VV Vinayak’s protégé KS will be helming it as his debut directorial venture, wherein producer Bellamkonda Suresh of the prestigious banner Sree Lakshmi Narasimha Productions is making a comeback to film production and Stuartpuram Donga will be made on large scale.

A wonderful script is prepared and all the required commercial ingredients are included in the right proportions. Vennelakanti Brothers are the writers for the film. Since the story is set in the 70s and 80s, popular technicians are zeroed in to be part of this high-budget entertainer.

Melody Brahma Mani Sharma will score music. Shyam K Naidu handles the camera, while Thammiraju is the editor and AS Prakash is the art director.

Sri Arun Haldar, Hon’ble Vice Chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC)  held a meeting with Chief Secretary to Government Sri Somesh Kumar, IAS, DGP, Sri M.Mahender Reddy and other Senior Officials at BRKR Bhavan on Tuesday. He appreciated the steps taken by the Telangana Government for the over all development of Scheduled Castes in the State. He also suggested officials to respond immediately on the incidents and extend immediately relief measures to the aggrieved families. He asked the officials  to work for the welfare of SCs from a humanitarian standpoint.

The Chief Secretary explained the measures taken by the State Government for the holistic development of Scheduled Castes. As part of that, the Government is implementing the SC, ST Development Act. He said Telangana is the only state in the country to bring such an act. Based on the population ratio 15.45% of the budget is earmarked exclusively for the development of Scheduled Castes and any unspent balances are carried forward with the budget for the next year additionally. Atrocities against Scheduled Castes are being monitored through Nodal Committees at District and State Level.

The Chief Secretary said that as part of the flagship program, the Government is running  residential education institutions up to graduation level to impart quality education  to Scheduled Caste students. The enhanced quality of education provided here has resulted in numerous students securing admissions with the most premier institutions of higher education in the country and abroad.

The Officials explained the commitment of the Government in dealing with the Atrocities against Scheduled Castes officials and as a point in case explained the case of Mariamma which took place in the State. The deceased family were provided relief and employment to the son of the deceased. Apart from this the police officials involved in the case were dismissed from the services.

Pavitrotsavams at Srivari Temple from 18th to 20th August

TD is organizing the annual Pavitrotsavam mahotsavam at srivari temple in ekantham from August 18-20 with Ankurarpanam on August 17 in view of COVID-19 guidelines.

 

Puranic legends show that the unique mahotsavam was conducted in all vaishnavite temples since the 15th century and revived by TTD in1962 to ward off the bad impact of any lapses during yearlong rituals and utsavas by either devotees or archakas.

 

As part of the festivities, snapana thirumanjanam is performed daily to utsava idols of Sri Malayappa swami and His consorts. Thereafter in the evening, the well-bejewelled utsava idols are taken out in procession on the Mada streets.

 

As part of the festivities the Pavitra pratista is observed on August 18, Pavitra Samarpana on August 19 and Purnahuti will be held on August 20.

 

In view of the celebrations, the TTD has cancelled all virtual sevas like Kalyanotsavam, Unjal seva, arjita brahmotsavam and Sahara Dipalankara Sevas on August17- 20.

FCRI conducted One Day Workshop

 

 

A team of faculty members including Prof D Narsimha Rao, the Co-founder of the Centurion University, Prof.Pushpalatha (plant biotechnology), Dr.Rukmini Mishra (Applied Botany), along with Mr Raju Aramadaka of Dussalt systems have visited the Forest College and Research Institute as part of the one day workshop to harness the Smart technologies in Forestry.

The workshop was organized  jointly by the Forest College and Research Institute (FCRI) Hyderabadand the Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha. The workshop was inaugurated by Smt. Priyankaa Varghese, IFS, Dean, FCRI. Senior retired IAS officer, Shri B P Acharya who has attended the event as a guest has shared his views on setting up an incubator facility for start-ups in forestry.

The workshop deliberated on the ways and means of improving the skill sets of Forestry students as per the New Educational Policy. New technologies with a fusion of the virtual and physical worlds such as LiDAR, UAV, Drones using technology, cloud computing etc will be incorporated into the curriculum in partnership with Industry and the students will pass out with industry-ready job skills.

The workshop was attended by the faculty members and students of the FCRI, along with administrative staff members, including Dr Suthan, IFS, Joint Director, Mr K Srinivas and A Narasimha Reddy, Deputy directors of the college.

SVCC LLP's movie with Vaisshnav Tej Panja goes on floors

 


Producer BVSN Prasad, who has made a number of hit movies under his banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP, is currently bankrolling a movie with the 'Uppena' sensation Vaisshnav Tej Panja as the hero. Gireeshaaya, who wielded the megaphone for the Tamil remake of 'Arjun Reddy', is its director. On Tuesday, the untitled movie went on the floors in Hyderabad.

Speaking about the project, BVSN Prasad today said, "We are very happy to be collaborating with Vaisshnav Tej, whose debut movie 'Uppena' was a blockbuster. The makers of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s highly anticipated flick Sarkaru Vaari Paata directed by the Parasuram have released 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata Blaster' on August 9th as Mahesh Babu's Birthday Special.


The Blaster looks kick-ass and mindblowing skyrocketing the hype around the film. It has struck chord with the fans and common audience alike and as a result, it has emerged as Telugu film industry's most watched teasers in the first 24 hours of its release.
