Understand the history in right perspective to create future India: Governor
Hyderabad, Aug 12: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Thursday called upon the people to understand the country’s history from its right perspective and strive to create strong, secure, prosperous, and self-reliant India.
“When we are able to
acknowledge our glorious past and rich cultural heritage, it would motivate us
to work for the creation of a strong and secure future for the country,” she
added.
The Governor was virtually
releasing a poster, depicting the Postal Stamps of the Freedom Fighters,
designed by the Itihasa Sankalana Samithi.
She stated that we must
remember and honour the sacrifices made by martyrs and the brave freedom struggle
waged by our freedom fighters for the country’s independence and strive to create
an India of their dreams.
“A real tribute to the freedom
struggle martyrs and freedom fighters must be through our efforts to make India
a prosperous, secure, sustainable and self-reliant country,” she added.
The Governor appreciated the
efforts of the Ithihasa Sankalana Samithi (Bharateeya), Telangana State branch
in bringing out the special poster as a mark of tribute to the freedom
fighters.
The poster was brought out as
part of the country’s 75 years of independence celebrations, being celebrated
as Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav across the country.

Retired Chief Justice of Patna High Court, Prof. V. Kishan Rao, President,
Ithihasa Sankalana Samithi, Telangana, and others were present.
Garuda Panchami on 13th August
Tirumala,12, August 2021: TTD is organizing the Garuda vahana procession of Sri Malayappaswamy on four Mada streets on Friday night on the occasion of auspicious Garuda Panchami.
Garuda Panchami is observed annually at Tirumala and Legends say that Garuda vahana darshan on Garuda Panchami day brings happiness.
Allari Naresh, East Coast Productions' 'Sabhaku Namaskaram' launched grandly*
Allari Naresh, who has scored a super-duper hit with his acclaimed performance in 'Naandhi' earlier this year, has teamed up with East Coast Productions, whose 'Thimmarusu' has been a super-hit after the second wave of the pandemic. Titled 'Sabhaku Namaskaram', the film is directed by Sateesh Mallampati. Mahesh Koneru is producing the movie. On Thursday, the project was launched in a grand way. Ayana, the daughter of Allari Naresh, gave the clap for the 'muhurtham' shot. Pokoori Babau Rao switched on the camera, while 'Naandhi' director Vijay Kanakamedala directed the first shot. Abburi Ravi, Ammi Raju and Sudheer handed over the script to Sateesh Mallampati.
Major the film commences the final schedule of its shoot
The team of Major commences the last schedule of the film today. Announcing the same, the actors took to their social media to share pictures from the film.
After creating huge anticipation and excitement for the war drama with the teaser of the film, the team of Major has begun the final schedule of the film shoot with Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar. The film is scheduled to finish the shoot by end of August.
Offering glimpses into the film, the actors shared stills from the film highlight the varied aspects of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's life.
Expressing his thoughts, actor Adivi Sesh says, "Major is my passion project, my journey with the film began years ago when I first witnessed the tragic incident in the news. Now as we are inching closer to wrapping the film, I am overwhelmed with mixed emotions. I am extremely grateful to the family of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan for deeming me fit to play the role of their brave son and I hope we succeed in paying a tribute to the inspirational life of our beloved martyr."
Based on the life of martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Major celebrates the heroics of the army officer's life, not only depicting his death at the 26/11 Mumbai attacks but also tracing his journey and embracing the spirit with which he lived.
Revealing the teaser earlier, the team of Major scaled the varied phases of Sandeep Unnikrishnan's life, from his childhood, teenage to the glorious years in the army.
Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the multilingual film starring Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala and Saiee Manjrekar will be released in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam.
Purushaivari Thota Utsava Held in Tirumala
TTD grandly organized the Purusaivari Tota Utsavam at Tirumala as part of Sri Andal Ammavari Tiruvadipuram Shattumora on Wednesday.
According to puranic legends the emergence of Sri Andal Goda Devi who is believed to be an incarnation of Bhudevi occurred at Tulasi Gardens on the Purva Phalguni Nakshatram in the month of Ashada on the day of Shukla Chaturthi.
On the holy occasion, the utsava idols of Sri Malayappa Swami along with His two consorts Sridevi and Sri Bhudevi arrived at the Purusaivari Tota in the evening in a procession after the Sahara Deepalankara seva. Here special Harati, garlands and Shatari will be offered to the holy Pogada tree followed by Abhishekam.
Thereafter the Utsava idols of Swami and His consorts shall return to Srivari temple.

TTD Signs Two MoUs with SV Veterniary Universith for Animal Fodder and Reproduction at SV Goshala
TTD chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy said that two significant MoU’s were inked on Wednesday between SV Goshala and SV Veterinary University.
The MoU’s are aimed at promoting desi breed of cows through the latest ART procedures, to produce Ghee from Swadeshi Cows and Cow based products at the SV Goshala for Srivari daily Naivedyam.
Dr Harnath Reddy, Director of SV Goshala and University Registrar Dr Ravi exchanged the MOU’s at the Annamaiah Bhavan in presence of TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy and AP Veterinary University Vice Chancellor Dr Padnanabha Reddy.
FOLLOWING ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF BOTH MOU’s
MOU- 1
The MOU aims coordination between University and the SV Gosamrakshana Trust for the reproduction technologies developed by the university: In-Vito and In-Vitro process for high yield cows and also ART (artificial reproduction Technology).
The university will facilitate the Goshala with embryo transfer technology (ETT) cum In-Vitro fertilization (IVF) labs at the college of Veterinary Sciences at Tirupati and provide training to UG and PG students.
MOU-2
According to the second MOU, the university will promote cattle feed production plant, besides training students and research, under the supervision of Head of Animal nutrition of University and Registrar. TTD will set up a lab for quality control of raw material, composite feed and simplification of process. The university will provide technical know how on high yield desk cows and genetically treatment of high yield cows.
Both agree to promote high yield of desk cows through ART technology besides use of ART for promoting a new breed of cows and also management and production improvements in Goshala.
Speaking on the occasion TTD chairman said 60 liters of ghee were used in Srivari temple every day for Swami kainkaryas & deeparadhana. The veterinary university shall produce technical know-how to make the ghee needed in the temple through swadesi cows.
TTD has also signed an agreement with the university for Embryo transfer, quality Cattle feed production with which the doctors of the university shall examine the cows at the Go Samrakshana for high yield and embryo transfer procedures.
The collaboration is also aimed at breeding high yield cows genetically from the Cows available at the Palamneru Goshala.
Similarly in another agreement for quality cattle feed production TTD will collaborate with AP Veterinary University and the Newtech Bio-sciences Ltd of New York based technocrat Pratap Reddy to produce composite cattle feed at Tirupati Goshala premises.
Prominent among those who participated in the event were Deputy CM Sri K Narayanaswamy, MP Dr Gurumoorthy, MLAs Sri Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, Sri Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Sri B Madhusudhan Reddy, Sri A Srinivasulu, Sri Prasada Raj, Sri Dorababu, MLC Sri Janga Krishnamurtht, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, and Dr Sarjan Rao. Dr Venkata Naidu, Dr Brahmaiah, and other officials were present.
