TTD Mulls Stat Wide Celebrations of Sravana Pournami, Varalakshmi Vratam and Krishnastami Festivities




As a part of Sravana Masa festivities, all projects of TTD in co-ordination should observe Sravana Pournami, Varalakshmi Vratam and Krishnastami events across the state, said TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.

 

A review meeting on all projects of TTD was held in Sri Padmavathi Rest House at Tirupati on Tuesday evening by the Additional EO. He directed the HDPP officials to prepare guidelines for the training to be imparted to the Dharma Prachara co-ordinators in the state. All the Tirunakshatram programmes performed under the aegis of Alwar Divya Prabandha Project of TTD should also be carried out in a grand manner involving all projects, he added.

 

He said the Sapthagiri magazine should be revived completely under the guidance of the Editorial Board with attractive pages, content and stories. Similarly, the publications which will strengthen the Publication Wing should be identified and republished.  


He said about 2000 sankeertans of Sri Annamacharya should be brought to the public fore by composing music and the selection of talented artists for the same should be carried out from time to time. Similarly the Dasa Sankeertans should also be popularized among masses and instructed the officer concerned to arrange a meeting with experts in Dasa Sahitya soon. 

 

The Additional EO instructed all Project officers, to prepare an action plan for yearly events for their respective projects and submit the same by next review meeting.  "All the project officers should focus on bringing out new programmes involving the public and taking forward the Hindu Sanatana Dharma Prachara in an effective manner", he maintained.

 

TTD Projects Programme Officer, Sri Vijaya Saradhi, SVBC CEO Sri Suresh Kumar, Dasa Sahitya Project Special Officer Sri Anandatheerthacharyulu, Annamacharya Project In-charge Director Dr Vibhishana Sharma, Sapthagiri Magazine Chief Editor Sri Radha Ramana were also present.

Speaker Visits Dharmagiri






The Honourable Speaker also paid a visit to Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham at Tirumala.

 

This 137-year-old Vedic institution has been imparting knowledge to thousands of students in different Vedic courses since its inception.  

 

TTD is on an undeterred mission to promote, preserve and protect the rich Vedic heritage, its prominence and significance of Hindu Sanatana Dharma through this traditional institution.

 

On his arrival, Sri Om Birla was welcomed in a traditional manner and later he took part in the prayer and special puja held to Sri Venkateswara Swamy located at the Veda Peetham. The Vedic scholars offered Vedasirvachanam to the dignitary.

 

TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and others were also present.

 

LS Speaker Offers Prayers to Kapileswara Swamy






The Honourable L S Speaker Sri Om Birla offered prayers in the famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Tirupati along with his family members and entourage on Tuesday.

 

Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti welcomed the VIP Dignitary on his arrival to Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple.

 

Later he took part in the Archana held to Sri Dakshinamurty, Sri Subrahmanya Swamy and Navagrahas held in the temple.

 

DyEO Sri Subramanyam, Superintendent Sri Bhupati and others were also present.

Maha Samprokshana in Sri Venugopala Swamy Vari Temple at Karvetinagaram


The Astabandhana Jeernodharana Maha Samprokshanam will be performed in Sri Venugopala Swamy temple at Karvetinagaram from August 23 to 27 with Ankurarpanam on August 22. In view of the Covid pandemic, the entire event will be observed in Ekantam.

 

As part of the ritual, everyday there will be religious programmes between 8.30am and 10.30am. On August 23, Agni Pratista and Kumbha Sthapana will be observed at 6pm; on August 24 rituals including Panchagavyadhivasam and other Vedic programmes will be performed.  

 

On August 25, Ksheeradhivasam, Astabandhanam will be observed and on August 26 Jaladhivasam, Mahashanti Tirumanjanam, Sayanadhivasam, Visesha Homam will be performed. The fete concludes with Purnahuti, Vimana Samprokshana, Gopura Samprokshana, and Avahana Prokshana in the morning and Kalyanotsavam to deities in the evening on August 27.

Prayed Lord Balaji To Bless Humanity with Peace and Prosperity - Hon'ble LS Speaker


















TIRUMALA, 17 AUGUST 2021: For the peace and prosperity of the entire world, I prayed to Lord Balaji to shower his blessings on humanity, said the Honourable Speaker of Lok Sabha, Sri Om Birla.


The LS Speaker who is on a two-day visit to the famous pilgrim centre, had darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala temple along with his family on Tuesday.


On his arrival at Mahadwaram, he was welcomed by TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.


After Darshan, he was rendered Vedasirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam and was presented with Theertha Prasadams and lamination photo of Lord by TTD Chairman and the EO.


Speaking to media outside the temple, he said, "I have immense faith in Lord Venkateswara and with His benign blessings India will soon emerge as a powerful nation in the entire world and also prayed to give all of us enough strength to further boost our Democracy and fulfill all the aspirations of people in the best possible manner", he added.


Among other important dignitaries who accompanied the Honourable Speaker of Lok Sabha includes, MPs Sri Gurumurthy, Sri Vijaysai Reddy, Sri Mithun Reddy, Sri Bharath.

Sushanth’s Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu Awarded With U/A Censor Certificate
