Grand Gopuja Held at Vasantha Mandapam
As part of Karthika masa celebrations which included Vishnu Puja fete TTD organised the Go puja at Vasantha Mandapam on Saturday morning.
The festivities were live telecast by the SVBC channel between 08.30-10.00 am
In this connection the utsava idols followed by Thiru Aradhana of Sri Venugopal Swamy and his consorts Rukmini and Satyabhama were seated at Vasantha Mandapam where Karthika Vishnu puja Sankalp and Vishnu puja mantras were performed followed by Thiru Aradhana, Gopuja for cow and calf, naivedyam, harati and Go Pradakshina and others.
Earlier TTD Agama adviser Sri Mohan Rangacharyulu narrated the significance of the Go puja in Sanatana Hindu dharma and that it begot fruits of worship of a multitude of Gods.
The Chief Priests Sri Venugopal Dikshitulu, Sri Krishna Seshachala Dikshitulu, OSD Sri Pala Sheshadri and others were present.
Chandi Yagam Ends at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple
The four day long Sri Kamakshi ammavari (Chandi) Homam organised by the TTD as part of ongoing
Homa Mahotsavam at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple from November 13-21 concluded on Sunday morning.
In this connection rituals of Maha Purnahuti, Kalasha Udwasana, Maha Abhisekam and Kalashabhisekam were performed at the yagashala of the temple from morning 08-12.00 noon. Thereafter in the evening Sri Kapileswara Swamy kalasha Sthapana, Puja japam, homam, nivedana and harati were performed.
Temple DyEO Sri Subramaniam, Superintendent Sri Bhupathi, temple inspector Sri Reddy Shekar, temple Archakas and other officials were present.

Nandamuri Balakrishna, Boyapati Srinu, Dwaraka Creations’ Akhanda Receives U/A Censor Certificate
Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna and mass director Boyapati Srinu’s most awaited film Akhanda is all set for theatrical release on December 2nd. The film’s censor works were also done and it was awarded with U/A certificate.
Censor officials have appreciated the makers for the grand visuals and drama in the movie. Balakrishna who previously did numerous mass and action roles came up with his best performance. Needless to say, his Aghora character is going to bring mass madness to theatres.
Akhanda character arrives in second half and Boyapati presented Balakrishna in the extreme intense and action avatar. Balakrishna shows his ugraroopam (fury) in the character in second half. On the other hand, Srikanth’s evil acts will be another highlight. Jagapathi Babu and other actors too performed well, while Thaman’s music and rich production values are the other big assets.
Balakrishna and Boyapati collaborated for the third time to complete hat-trick hits in their combination. Miryala Ravinder Reddy is producing Akhanda on Dwaraka Creations. Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao is the editor.
S Thaman has scored music and first two songs got tremendous response. The theatrical trailer of the movie which was revealed last week got thumping response.
Gamanam To Release In Theatres On December 10
Today, the makers have announced to release Gamanam in theatres on December 10th. Although it is a Pan India project, the makers are releasing only Telugu version on the day.
Gamanam is a compilation that recounts to three stories. While Shriya Saran features one of the narratives, the second story tells love saga of Shiva Kandukuri, Priyanka Jawalkar and the third story follows orphan kids born and raised in a slum.
Sujana Rao picked an interesting and sensitive concept that makes everyone emotive. Each story has its own significance with heart-touching emotions.
Ace writer Sai Madhav Burra penned dialogues, while maestro Ilayaraja scored music and Gnana Shekar V.S. handled the cinematography. Aspiring producers Ramesh Karutoori and Venki Pushadapu in collaboration with Gnana Shekar V.S. have produced the movie under the banners KRIA FILM CORP and KALI Productions.
Trailer of the movie was well-received among family audience.
