TTD Clarifies

 


With an aim to telecast the rituals, religious events, festivals that are performed in the Srivari temple at Tirumala every day on SVBC and SVBC Radio,  TTD has stopped the services of Akasavani-All India Radio Tirupati FM.


In a statement released on Thursday evening, TTD said it has entered MoU with Akasavani for an everyday three hour slot from 3am to 6am to live relay the programmes in Tirumala temple during that time on payment of Rs. 35akhs per annum.


When TTD is having its own Channel and Radio to live telecast and relay all the rituals in the temple, it has decided to stop the services of Akashvani.

Devotees are requested to make note of this and watch and listen to the live programmes on SVBC and SV FM.

TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam on Thursday inspected the ongoing development works at









Srinivasa Mangapuram.


During the review meeting with officials in the temple premises, he directed the concerned to make accommodation arrangements for devotees and Archakas near Kalyana Mandapam. He also instructed to bring Sri Krishna Deva Raya Sadan into public utility soon.


The JEO also said to initiate measures to ensure that rain water does not enter inside the temple. He directed to erect display boards with the necessary information for the sake of devotees. The officials were directed to send the proposals of development works to Archaeological authorities for prior permission.


He said, soon there will be review meeting on Vaikunta Ekadasi arrangements.


Later he also visited SV Ayurveda Pharmacy in Narsingapuram and verified the preparation of medicines.


ASI Official Sri Satyam, temple DyEO Smt Shanti, EE Sri Murali, AEO Sri Dhananjeyudu were also present.

The Slotted Sarva Darshanam (SSD) quota for the month of December 2021 will be released in on-line by TTD on November 27 at 9am.


The accommodation quota for the month of December will be released on November 28 at 9am.


Devotees are requested to make note of this and book their darshan and accommodation accordingly.

Adivi Sesh to remember the heroics of 26/11 Mumbai attacks martyrs along with Sandeep Unnikrishnan's parents at Taj Mahal Palace

 


Actor Adivi Sesh, who reprises the role of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in the upcoming film 'Major', has arranged a small get-together commemorating the bravehearts that laid their lives in the tragic 26/11 Mumbai attacks, in the presence of Sandeep Unnikrishnan's parents, K Unnikrishnan and Dhanalakshmi Unnikrishnan.


Every year, the parents of Sandeep Unnikrishnan fly down to Mumbai to visit Taj Mahal Palace as an ode to the memories of their beloved son.

Over the course of this film, the bond between Sesh and Major Sandeep’s parents has only gotten deeper and richer. So, Sesh invited Sandeep Unnikrishnan's parents for a small gathering to remember India's son, who sacrificed his life while saving his fellow countrymen.

Bringing to screen the untold story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the multilingual film 'Major' traces the braveheart's journey from childhood, teenage, glorious years in the army to the tragic events of the Mumbai attack where he was martyred, touching upon the different aspects of his being. Mounted on a large scale, the team earlier shared the teaser, with a surge of emotions. The visually stunning teaser struck a chord with the audience generating anticipation for the film.

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the pan India film starring Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma will be released in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam.

Produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, Major is slated to have a worldwide theatrical release on February 11, 2022.

Governor lauds cultural performances by Sri Lanka and Indian artistes

 










Hyderabad, Nov 25: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has appreciated the performances by the Sri Lanka and Indian artistes who performed at the Raj Bhavan, here, on Thursday.

The Governor said that she was thrilled by the fantastic performances made by the women artistes from Sri Lanka and different parts of our country.

She was responding after watching the performances of the artistes as part of the international and national cultural performances event organized by the Singidi organization in collaboration with the Dept of Language and Culture at the Raj Bhavan.

Referring to the warrior dance performances made by the artistes, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said that women are also entering into the armed forces in a big way thanks to the initiative of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Governor said that it was a good initiative on the part of the cultural organizations to organize the cultural exchange programmes between the Sri Lanka and India as they share a great cultural heritage.

Reputed artistes from Sri Lanka led by noted artiste Anjana Raja Pakshe of the Kandyan dance fame have enthralled the Governor and others with their breathtaking performances at the Raj Bhavan.

Secretary to Governor K. Surendra Mohan, Director, Culture Mamidi Hari Krishna, Singidi Cultural organization director Viswakarma and others were present.

 

Rajashekar's 91st movie 'Shekar' gets a superb glimpse

 



Angry Star Rajashekar is the hero of 'Shekar', which is his 91st movie. Jeevitha Rajashekar is wielding the megaphone for the movie besides penning its screenplay. Beeram Sudhakara Reddy, Shivani Rajashekar, Shivathmika Rajashekar, and Boggaram Venkata Srinivas have joined hands to produce it on Pegasus Cinecorp, Taurus Cinecorp, Sudhakar Impex IPL, and Tripura Creations banners. The First Glimpse of the awaited movie was unveiled on Thursday.


The glimpse takes off with a female character announcing that a couple has been found dead at a bungalow in Araku. Even though the cops reach the site of the crime immediately, they don't start the investigation. It's because they are waiting for the arrival of Shekar, a cop who had resigned recently. This is when Rajashekar is introduced as the titular character. We hear a character say that Shekar never blurts out his plans, neither does he listen to what others ask him to do. The hero makes a grand entry by lighting the cigarette in his mouth. Rajashekar is stunning in the salt-n-pepper look.

Speaking about the movie, director Jeevitha Rajashekar said, "The promotional materials released thus far have raised the audience's expectations. And now, the First Glimpse is receiving a thumping response. Post-production works are currently on. The plan is to release our movie in January 2022."

Dr. Rajashekar, Aathmeeya Rajan, 'George Reddy' fame Muskaan Kubchandhani, Abhinav Gomatam, Kannada Kishore, Sameer, Bharani, Ravi Varma, Shravan Raghavendra and others are the principal cast.
