Srivari Sare To Sri Padmavati Devi on 8th Dec


Tirumala, 07 December 2021: In connection with the ongoing annual Karthika Brahmotsavams of Goddess Padmavati which is going to conclude on December 8 at Tiruchanoor, the presentation of Srivari sare will take place during the wee hours on Wednesday.

 

As part of tradition, the sare will be brought in a procession from the Srivari temple at Tirumala to Sri Padmavati temple in Tiruchanoor on the occasion of Panchamthirtha.

 

Earlier a mixture of perfumed powder-Parimala - will be paraded within the Srivari temple. After Tirumanjanam and puja to Lakshmi idols, the pattu saree along with jewellery, Prasadam, Tulasi and others will be paraded on elephant in Mada streets and thereafter brought by Archakas on foot to Alipiri.

 

The caravan thereafter will arrive at Sri Padmavati temple and be placed at the vahana Mandapam to adorn the utsava idol of Ammavaru after the traditional Snapana Tirumanjanam.

 

Later the finale of the Brahmotsavam celebrations- the Panchamithirtha Chakrasnanam will be observed with religious fervour.

Bringing New Sankens with New Talents to the Public Fore is the Aim of Adivo Alladivo - TTD Addl Eo











Saint poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya Sankeertans are popular across the world and the aim of "Adivo Alladivo" program is to bring new Sankeertans of Annamacharya which were composed by TTD with new talents to the public fore, said TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.


The curtain raiser and inaugural session of the unique "Adivo Alladivo" program took place at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the Additional EO said so far TTD has recorded 4000 Sankeertans of Annamaiah. But only a few are in popularity. "So we have designed this program. On the other hand, we are also bringing out book with "Artha Tatparya" for each kriti of Annamacharya soon", he added.


Earlier the Chairman SVBC Dr Saikrishna Yachendra in his presidential remarks said the program is the brainchild of TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy and the main aim is to promote the new compositions of Annamaiah as well the new talented youth. The competitions are being held to the age groups between 15-25years.


"From the past six centuries the entire clan of Annamacharya has been doing service to Sri Venkateswara Swamy with their Sangeeta and Sahitya. Even today we can see the rendition of the descendants of Annamacharya in Tirumala temple", he maintained.


Later Vice-Chancellor of SV Vedic University Prof Sannidhanam Sudarshana Sharma said Sangeetham is also a Upavedam as it is often considered as a sub wing of Sama Veda.


In the Sangeeta Sahitya world Annamaiah will be in the forefront and described him as "Telugu Bhartruhari".


National Sanskrit University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Muralidhara Sharma in his address said their varsity will support TTD in this divine endeavour. He also suggested that the new talents be provided a platform on Nadaneerajanam.


Annamacharya Project Director Dr A Vibhishana Sharma said "Like Dasavataras of Sri Maha Vishnu, Dasa Sahiti Lakshanas were there in Annamaiah kritis. On a war-footing, this program has been designed and to encourage youth on the new compositions of Annamaiah. By next Ugadi we will bring out all the Adhyatma Keertans compiled with 17 pundits to the public domain", he added.


Later a video promo on the programme with a background score rendered by Madhu Balakrishna was displayed on the occasion followed by the felicitation to all dignitaries.


Veteran singer of Annamacharya Project Dr G Balakrishna Prasad rendered "Ani Anatiche Krishnudarjununito". Senior retired artistes Dr P Ranganath, Sri Ananda Bhattar, renowned playback singer Smt SP Sailaja, CAO Sri Sesha Sailendra, CEO SVBC Sri Suresh Kumar, DFO Sri Srinivasulu Reddy, PRO Dr T Ravi were also present.


The singing competitions by the participants commenced after the inaugural programme.

As a part of ongoing annual Karthika Brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor on Monday, Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi in the guise of Navaneetha Krishna blessed devotees on Chandra Prabha Vahanam.

 

Both Senior and Junior Pontiffs of Tirumala, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEO Smt Kasturi Bai and others were also present.

Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry’s Last Song In Shyam Singha Roy Will Be Out On December 7th



Nani’s magnum opus Shyam Singha Roy being helmed by talented director Rahul Sankrityan and produced on a massive scale by Venkat Boyanapalli under Niharika Entertainments will have its theatrical release on December 24th as Christmas special. Songs and teaser set bar high for the film and the team is promoting it vigorously.


Cosmic love radiates on December 7th as third single Sirivennela from the film penned by legendary lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry will be out tomorrow. Nani flashes smile, while Sai Pallavi is seen blushing in the song announcement poster. Needless to say, the epic love story of Nani and Sai Pallavi will be the biggest asset of Shyam Singha Roy.

Sirivennela is a class number scored by Mickey J Meyer, while Anurag Kulkarni has sung it. The promo of the song was released couple of days ago and we need to wait for another day to listen to the full song.

Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian are the heroines in the film that has original story by Satyadev Janga. Naveen Nooli is the editor, while National Award winner Kruti Mahesh and the very talented Yash master choreographed songs of the film.

Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma and Abhinav Gomatam will be seen in important roles in the film.

Shyam Singha Roy will release in all south languages- Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Manasanamaha Team Thanks Audience As Short Film Enters Oscar Qualification Race





Featuring Viraj Ashwin in the lead role, Manasanamaha, a Telugu short
film has entered the Oscars qualification race. The short film is
directed by Deepak Reddy and produced by Gajjala Shilpa. Manasanamaha
was made available for streaming on YouTube last year and ever since,
it had won 900 international and regional awards. The voting for
Manasanamaha's Oscars qualification will start from 10th December. On
the occasion, the team interacted with Telugu media and opened up
about their short film entering the Oscars qualification race.

The director Deepak Reddy said, When I thought of presenting a love
story in a new manner, the concept of reverse screenplay came to mind.
Using this method of filmmaking at that point in time was challenging.
The fact that Manasanamaha won hundreds of awards is encouraging. I
hope our short film wins the Oscars voting on December 10. I will be
working on a feature film soon.

Viraj Aswhin said When Deepak first narrated me the story, I didn't
know if he could bring the story to life on screen. But after seeing
the output, I understood  his vision. Gautham Menon released the short
film in Tamil and KGF producers did the honors in Kannada. The short
film won 900 awards. Qualifying to the Oscars race is a positive
feeling.

Drishika Chander, who plays the female lead said, Manasanamaha is my
first film and all the appreciation it is receiving is overwhelming.
It was really challenging working on the short film.

The cinematographer, Raj, the music composer, Kamran, and others
associated with the project were hopeful of the short film entering
the Oscars race.

Samantha's New Project 'Yashoda' Under Sridevi Movies Production Commences Shoot

 Samantha who caught the attention of Pan-India audience with The Family Man 2 has taken her new project onto the floors today. Samantha's upcoming project has been titled "Yashoda" and the regular filming commenced today, following a formal pooja ceremony.


Samantha will be playing an author-backed role in Yashoda, which is being directed by director duo Hari and Harish. Noted producer, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad who bankrolled super hits like Aditya 369, Sammohanam, and several others, is producing Yashoda now.

Yashoda is a thriller that has a new-age plot. The film will be released in a total of five Indian languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Speaking at the shoot commencement event, the producer of the project, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad said "We all know that Samantha attained pan-India attention with The Family Man 2. In accordance with her current image, we have conceived a thriller that caters to a wide section of the audience."

With Yashoda being released in five major Indian languages, Samantha's fame is expected to grow bigger. The entire filming part is expected to be completed by March 2022. More details about the cast and crew, and as well as the release date will be announced in the due course.

The film is powered by a strong technical crew. Mani Sharma will compose the music while M Sukumar handles the cinematography. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor.
