Rana Daggubati, Sathyasiva, CK Entertainments Pvt Ltd 1945 To Release On December 31st




Rana Daggubati signed several multi-lingual films, post Baahubali and one amongst them is 1945. The period drama directed by Sathyasiva is now all set for theatrical release. C Kalyan has produced this high budget entertainer under his CK Entertainments Pvt Ltd.


As announced by the makers, 1945 will arrive in theatres on December 31st, this year. The announcement poster sees Rana with Union Jack (the National Flag of British) in fire. He is playing the role of a freedom fighter in the movie.

The film’s story is set in the backdrop of pre-partition India. Regina Cassandra has played the female lead in the movie that also stars Sathyaraj, Nasser and RJ Balaji in vital roles.

Coming to the technical crew of the film, Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music, while Sathya handled cinematography and Gopi Krishna is the editor.

New IT APP For TTD Edu Institutions - TTD EO

 TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy on Wednesday directed to prepare a new IT application for enhancing the quality of education in all TTD Educational Institutions.

 

A review meeting was held in his Chambers ' in TTD Administrative Building on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion the EO has instructed the IT wing to come out with a Student management application.

 

He said the quality of education of all the TTD Educational Institutions including SVIMS medical college should match the level of Sri Venkateswara Degree College at New Delhi.

 

The new app should carry the entire academic performance and other related information of the student from the date of his or her joining till he passes out.

 

JEO for Education and Health Smt Sada Bhargavi, FACAO Sri Balaji, DEO Sri Govindarajan, IT Chief Sri Sesha Reddy, CIO Sandeep, representatives from Jio, all the principals of TTD Educational Institutions were also present.

 



Seven More Successful Open Heart Surgeries at Sri Padmavathi Children's Hospital

The Sri Padmavati super speciality children’s hospital run by TTD has successfully conducted seven more open-heart surgeries of which 4 children were discharged on Wednesday, said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

 

The EO visited the hospital and interacted with children and their parents, doctors at the ICU.

 

The hospital was launched by AP Chief Minister Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy on October 11 this year and OP has begun immediately and within a month, that is on November 11 the first open-heart surgery was successfully performed, he said.

 

The TTD EO said he is happy to note that the proceedings costing lakhs of rupees was performed under the Arogya Sri scheme to poor children and lauded the doctors for their contributions.

 

The children included Pavitra (6) from Bireddypalli of Chittoor district, G Venkata Naga Seshu (2 months infant) from Konidela village, Nandikotkur Mandal of Kurnool district, Rishita a 4- year old girl from Damalacheruvu of Chittoor district, Vedantam (4) of Appulakunta village of Anantapur, Yakshita 4 months baby from Pallipattu of Tamilnadu and Inshad (4 months) baby from Tadapari of Anantapur, Gautam (4 months) from Dhone of Kurnool district.

   

The EO said specialists doctor’s team lead by Dr Srinath Reddy performed surgeries successfully after patients were unable to pay huge cost of operations suggested by the corporate hospitals at Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Parents of the children who underwent operation told the TTD EO they are ever grateful TTD management that with the blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy their children survived from death.

 

"My son was diagnosed of a heart ailment on the sixth day of his birth and his body had become blue. We visited all corporate hospitals in vain and when we heard of TTD’s children hospital we came here with a last hope and our son is reborn at the lotus feet of Srivaru ", an emotional Shyamala, mother of Vedanta from Hindupur.

 

"Our son was always weeping since birth and on doctors, examination was told of need of heart operation,” said father of konidela Venkata Shesha Nagu. We were directed to this hospital and luckily our boy survived", he expressed with joy of tears oozing out from his eyes.

 











First Schedule of Adivo Alladivo Concludes






The first schedule of the prestigious and unique, "Adivo Alladivo"-Annamacharya Songs recording programme with new talents mulled by TTD concluded on Wednesday.

 

Speaking on the occasion, TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy said, the idea behind this program is to popularise new compositions of Annamacharya to public identifying new singing talents. The programme is named after the most popular Kriti of the saint poet, Adivo Alladivo. The EO said TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy has also released the promo of the programme some time ago.

 

Adding further, EO said though the idea popped up in his mind, the Chairman of SVBC Dr Saikrishna Yachendra, who himself is a stalwart musician has brought the concept in an extraordinary way. About 82 youth aged between 15-25years have got selected so far from Chittoor and Nellore districts alone. In the first schedule, we have recorded the Sankeertans by these singers. Soon these programmes will be telecasted on SVBC", he maintained.

 

Chairman SVBC Dr Saikrishna Yachendra, CEO SVBC Sri Suresh Kumar, versatile singers who are supervising the program proceedings Dr SP Sailaja, Dr P Ranganath were also present.

Panchami Theertham Held with Religious Grandeur

 The nine-day Navahnika Karthika Varshika brahmotsavams came to a grand end with Panchami Theertham on Wednesday. 

 

The processional deity of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru was rendered Snapana Tirumanjanam along with Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar in a specially prepared platform near Vahana Mandapam on this auspicious occasion. Different varieties of garlands and crowns made of cardamom, flowers, Peacock feathers, dryfruits, Tulsi etc. were decorated to Goddess, each time she was rendered Abhishekam along with Chakrattalwar. 

 

Due to Covid restrictions, the event was not held in Padma Sarovaram-the temple tank as in the case of last year. TTD has set up a temporary tank replicating Padma Sarovaram in front of Vahana Mandapam. Later in the auspicious time at 11:52am, the Sudarshana Chakrattalwar-the anthropomorphic form of Srivaru was immersed in the holy water of the temple tank by the temple priests amidst the chanting of Vedic Mantras as per the tenets of Pancharatra Agama.

 

JEWELS GIFTED:

 

On the occasion of Panchami Theertham, Srivaru has presented valuable gifts to His better half Padmavathi Devi which included emeralds, rubies, sapphire and pearl studded gold pathakam weighing around 825grams and a pair of ear ornaments called "Baajee Bandulu".
