Tiruppavai Parayanam to Commence


With the advent of the holy Dhanurmasam from December 16 onwards, the sacred Tiruppavai Pasura Parayanam will commence in Pedda Jeeyar mutt at Tirumala from Thursday onwards.


Every day there will be each Pasura Parayanam between 8:30am and 9:30am and will conclude on January 14 in 2022.

Sadhu Subramanya Shastri Jayanthi on 17th December


The 132nd Birth Anniversary of Sri Sadhu Subramanya Shastri will be observed by TTD on December 17 at Tirupati.

 

After offering floral tributes to the bronze statue of the great scholar, there will be a brief seminar on his life history at SVETA Bhavan.

Akhanda Bhagavat Gita Shloka Parayanam Held at Tirumala

 In connection with Gita Jayanthi on Tuesday, Akhanda Bhagavat Gita Shloka Parayanam was held by TTD at Nada Neerajanam platform in Tirumala.

 

Devotees participated braving inclement weather with utmost spiritual fervour. 

 

All the 700 Shlokas from 18 chapters of Bhagavat Gita were rendered which was telecasted live on SVBC between 7am and 11:30am for the sake of global devotees.

 

At the beginning of the programme, the artistes of SV College of Music and Dance and Annamacharya Project rendered Tallapaka Annamacharya Sankeetana, "Telisite Mokshamu..Teliyakunna Bandhamu" and concluded the programme with Sri Krishnastakam-Vasudeva Sutam in a melodious manner.

 

VISHWARUPA DARSHAN RECREATED

 

To enhance the spiritual fervour, the concept of Viswarupa Darshanam was recreated with the replicas of Sri Krishna Arjuna with Kapiladhwaja chariot in Kurukshetra on the Nada Neerajanam platform for the occasion.

 

The Gita Parayanam was commenced by TTD on September 10 last year with renowned Sanskrit scholar from National Sanskrit University, Sri Kuppa Vishwanatha Shastri giving narration while the shloka rendition is been carried out by TTD Vedaparayanamdar Sri Kasipathi. Like Sundarakanda and Virataparva Parayanams, Bhagavat Gita also received immense responses from global devotees. 

 

TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, National Sanskrit Varsity Vice-chancellor Sri Muralidhara Sharma, CEO SVBC Sri Suresh Kumar, Deputy EO Sri Ramesh Babu, All Projects of TTD Chief Officer Sri Vijayasaradhi, HDPP Secretary Sri Rama Rao, Vedic scholars, students were also present.
