His Holiness Sri Vidya Shreesha Theertha Swamiji, Pontiff of SHREE VYASARAJA MUTT, SOSALE received by TTD Addl Executive Officer Sri AV Dharma Reddy with temple honours in front of Sri Vari Temple, Tirumala on Wednesday morning.

Chakratheertha Mukkoti Performed

 





The annual Chakratheertha Mukkoti was performed with religious fervour in Tirumala on Wednesday.


The temple staff carried the puja material to Chakratheertham and performed special abhishekam to Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar, Sri Narasimha Swamy, Sri Anjaneya Swamy located in the premises.


As per the tradition, in Karthika Masam on the Suddha Dwadasi day, the Chakratheertha Mukkoti event is celebrated every year in Tirumala. 


According to Varaha Puranam Chakratheertham is one of the seven prominent theerthams in the Sheshachala ranges which houses about 66 crore holy theerthams.


Temple DyEO Sri Ramesh Babu, DFO Sri Srinivasulu Reddy, AVSO Sri Surendra and others were also present.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar Onboards Samantha’s Yashoda

 



Samantha recently took her next project, Yashoda onto the floors. The unit commenced shoot last week and a crucial opening schedule is underway in Hyderabad now. 


Coming to the topic, another talented actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has joined Samantha’s Yashoda now. The makers have roped in Varalaxmi for an important role in the film. 

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is known for picking diverse and author backed roles was impressed with the role offered to her in Yashoda and she readily signed the project. This will be her first collaboration with Samantha. It would be a real treat to watch two super talented actresses Samantha and Varalaxmi share the screen in the film. 

Varalaxmi will be playing ‘Madhubala’ character in the film and she has joined the shoot already and is filming the scenes featuring her. The current schedule is going on in Hyderabad. The unit plans to complete this schedule by 23rd December and then move on to the second schedule in January. 

Samantha will be playing an author-backed role in Yashodha, which is being directed by director duo Hari and Harish. Noted producer, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad who bankrolled super hits like Aditya 369, Gentleman, Sammohanam, and several others, is producing Yashodha under Sridevi Movies banner now. 

Yashodha is a proper thriller that has a new-age plot. The film will be released in a total of five Indian languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. 

Speaking at the shoot commencement event which was held last week, the producer of the project, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad said "We all know that Samantha attained pan-India attention with The Family Man 2. In accordance with her current image, we have conceived a thriller that caters to a wide section of the audience."

With Yashodha being released in five major Indian languages, Samantha's fame is expected to grow bigger. The entire filming part is expected to be completed by March 2022. More details about the cast and crew, and as well as the release date will be announced in the due course. 

The film is powered by a strong technical crew. Mani Sharma will compose the music while M Sukumar handles the cinematography. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor.

GVK Directional, Sharp Minds Film Factory “Damn-it David Rajuki Pellaipoindi” Film Launch

 




‘Mani Shankar’ Fame Director G. Venkat Krishnan (GVK) upcoming film in Sharp Minds Film Factory as Production No 1 is ‘Damn-it Davidraju ki Pellaipoindi’. The film is launched formally in Hyderabad recently. Telangana Film Chamber President Prathani Rama Krishna Goud, Vice President Nehru, Hero Siva Kantamaneni, PellisandaD Director Gowri Ronanki, Director Mallikarjun, Producer Acharya Srinivas Graced the event.


On this occasion Director, GVK said: Our Producers are so passionate and they have started a banner ‘Sharp Minds Film Factory’. The first film in this banner is ‘Damn-it Davidraju ki Pellaipoindi’. Kiran Kumar Gudipalli, Ramachandra Reddy Kurre is jointly Producing this film. This is my third film as the director. We are looking forward to meet you with a great concept and a good Team. We started recording songs under the music direction of ML Raja. We will announce the artist's details soon.

Prizes Distributed on Gita Jayanthi

 







The winners of the Bhagavat Gita shloka recitation competition were awarded on Tuesday evening on the occasion of Gita Jayanthi.


This event was organized at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati. This competition was held under the aegis of the HDPP wing of TTD.


At the beginning of the programme scholar’s Sri Maruti, Sri Raghavendra, Sri Ramakrishna Seshasai, Sri Chakravarti Raghavan addressed the students about the importance of the Bhagavat Gita.


The competition was held on December 5 to students in the 17th Chapter of Bhagavat Gita - Shradhatraya Vibhaga Yogam.


The students were categorised as Junior that includes 6th and 7th class students while students of 8th and 9th standards were categorised as Seniors. Likewise, the competitions were also held in all 700 Shlokas to those above and below 18years of age.


For the winners in all these four categories, All Projects Officer of TTD Sri Vijayasaradhi, HDPP Secretary Sri Rama Rao gave away the prizes.


HDPP AEO Sri Satya Narayana, Co-ordinator Sri Mahesh were also present.

Kanchi Seer Offers Prayers to Hill Lord

 









Kanchi Mutt Pontiff Kanchi Mutt Pontiff H.H.Sri Sri Viyendra Saraswathi had the blessings of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Tuesday morning.  TTD Addl EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti welcomed him with temple honours. He rendered the vinjamara seva to lord balaji.
