Tiruppavai Parayanam at Sri Pedda Jeeyarswamy Mutt





As part of Srihari Dhanurmasa Mahotsavam, the Tiruppavai parayanam is organised at Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy Mutt in Tirumala everyday morning between 8.30-9.30 hours up to January 14 which commenced on Friday.

 

The Pedda Jeeyar Swamy Mutt was established in Tirumala during the period of Sri Bhagavad Ramanujacharya, the founder of Vishistadvaita philosophy in the country.

 

All the kaikaryas and practices were performed at the Srivari temple as per the Vaiskhanasa Agama pronounced by Sri Ramanujacharya.

 

Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy who is continuing the Sri Ramanujacharya traditions is supervising all the sevas, kaikaryas, and utsavas that are being performed at Srivari Temple in Tirumala.

 

Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala and other Vedic pundits were present.

TS CS held a meeting with the team of World Bank and Officers



Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar,IAS held a wrap up meeting with the team of World Bank and Officers of the concerned departments on Road Safety at BRKR Bhavan today.       

Chief Secretary said that several measures have been taken by the State Government to prevent accidents and minimize the accidental deaths. He said that Transport and Police Departments jointly conducting Road Safety Weeks to create awareness to drivers on over speeding. He said that more focus is laid on road discipline among drivers and pedestrians. He said that the Government is developed certain APPs and installed CC Cameras to monitor Road Safety measures.

             Government is giving high priority  providing timely medical care to the accident victims. Roads, Transport, Police and Health Departments are working collectively to implement the Road Safety and minimize the fatalities in Road Accidents. Further, he said that it is a great opportunity to work with the World Bank Team to improve the Road Standards and minimize the accidents.

The World Bank Team explained about the key themes like Road Engineering, Vehicle Safety and Driver Training, Enforcement and Post Crash Care as part of the implementation of the program. The World Bank allocated Rs.6725 Crore funds to 14 States in the country on the basis of fatalities, registered vehicles and length of road network. As part of this program World Bank allocated Rs.320 Crore to Telangana.

Trail Run in First Week of New Year












Reiterating that Srivaru has averted a major accident and saved all when the many tonnes weighing heavy boulder fell somersaulting down second ghat road, said TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy.


The Chairman had inspected all the roads which are under repair in second ghat road on Thursday evening.


Later speaking to the media he said following the suggestions of IIT experts and the team from Kerala, the repair works in, 7, 8, 9, 14 and 15 kilometres are underway on war-footing.

"The works will complete by this year-end and our engineers are working on this day and night. Once the restoration works are completed we will go for a trial run in the first week of the new year 2022 before completing opening it for pilgrims by Vaikuntha Ekadasi", he added.

Tiruppais Dravida Veda- Tirumala Chinna Jeeyar Swamy

 The Junior   Pontiff of Tirumala, HH Sri Sri Sri Siriya Koil Kelviyappan Govinda Ramanuja  Jeeyar (Tirumala Chinna Jeeyar ) Swami pronounced on Thursday that Tiruppavai, is being hailed as Dravida Veda for narrating the adorable bond between Devotees and Paramatma.


The Tiruppavai Pravachanams of Dhanur Masam organized by the TTD’s Alwar Divya Prabandam project commenced at the Annamacharya Kala Mandiram in Tirupati on Thursday.


In his Mangala Sasanam, the Tirumala pontiff said Goda Devi was one among the 12 Alwars who heralded the Srivari glory through Pasuras and first one to hail Sri Venkateswara as Govinda.


The Dharmic projects official Sri Vijayasaradhi said the Tiruppavai pravachanam program was organized by the TTD in 208 locations across the country during 30 days of Dhanur Masam to ignite the spiritual quotient among all devotees.


The TTD PRO Dr T Ravi narrated the significance of Godadevi contribution to the Bhakti cult in the country.


Scholar Sri Chakravarti Ranganathan will narrate the Dhanurmasa pravachanam every day from December 17 to January 14 while Smt Dwaram Lakshmi will render Pasurams.

TTD Chairman Inaugurates Advanced Cath Lab at Sri Padmavati Children Hospital












TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Thursday inaugurated the Advanced Cath Lab set up at Sri Padmavati Children's Cardiac hospital in Tirupati.


Later speaking to the media the TTD Chairman said the children's hospital was inaugurated by the Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy on October 11 and presently houses 70 beds including 40 beds in ICU.


In the last two months, the hospital has set a record by performing 16 open heart surgeries by specialist doctors for patients ranging from 25 days to 18-year-old and presently 170 children are on a waiting list to undergo heart surgeries.


He said TTD had set up an Advanced Cath Lab at a cost of about Rs.5crore to Rs 6 crore which used key hole technology to fill up holes in heart of infants without any surgeries. With this technology in the field of Cardiac surgery, the patients could be discharged within 24 hours of operation and in less than a week children could attend schools, he added.


He directed officials to arrange for medical supplies and material adequately for conducting 100 such procedures in a month and that all of them could be done free of cost under Arogyasree scheme.


Earlier the TTD chairman visited the ICU and general wards and also interacted with the parents of the patients. Parents of Suhas (2 years) and mother Saidani, Shravan Reddy (3 months) of Jammalamadugu of YSR Kadapa district with mother Bhargavi and Radha mother of an infant from Warangal said they were operated freely through blessings of Sri Venkateshwara and expressed happiness about medical service and patient care at the hospital.

TS CS made a surprise visit to Ranga Reddy collector office today

Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar IAS made a surprise visit to Ranga Reddy collector office today and discussed the implementation of GO 317 with members of various teachers unions of Ranga Reddy district.  He congratulated the district collectors of four districts and other senior officials for successfully completing the allocation process.

          Members of the union expressed satisfaction and thanked the government for taking up this long pending issue of transfers and hoped that this would pave the way for promotions and fresh recruitment of teachers.  Chief Secretary assured the members that all the genuine demands of the unions would be brought to the notice of the Honourable Chief Minister for consideration.

          District Collector Amoy Kumar, Additional Collectors Prateik Jain, Thirupathi Rao and other officials attended the meeting.

Matinee Entertainment and Sree Vishnu’s Arjuna Phalguna Releasing On December 31st




Tollywood’s popular production house Matinee Entertainment is known for making different genre films and also for promoting their movies vigorously. Their next outing is Sree Vishnu starrer Arjuna Phalguna and it is getting ready for release in theatres on 31st December.


So, it’s a New Year entertainment bonanza offered by Matinee Entertainment. Sree Vishnu, Amritha Aiyer and three others are seen in the poster. The team will soon launch aggressive promotional campaign.

The film’s teaser got excellent response and songs scored by Priyadarshan Balasubramanian too impressed music lovers.

Story and screenplay for the film is by director Teja Marni himself, while dialogues are provided by Sudheer Varma P. Jagadeesh Cheekati is the cinematographer. Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy are bankrolling the project, while N M Pasha is the co-producer.
