TTD CVSO Felicitates





TTD CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti felicitated 21 security and CCTV technical personnel for their impressive discharging of duties in tracing out thieves, missing cases etc. and restoring the lost ones to the pilgrims.

 

The program was held in Common Command Control Room in Tirumala on Wednesday evening.

 

Stressing that the programme was meant to encourage the workforce, the CVSO said that he wish to foresee the same spirit from them in future too.

 

He also appreciated the effective monitoring of C3 centre by the Vigilance Inspector Sri M Siva Shankar.

 

This year till March 10, out of 247 cases reported, the Security personnel could able to resolve 211 successfully with the help of CCTV footages.

 

AVSOs Sri Sai Giridhar, Vigilance AVSO Sri Padmanabhan, VI Sri Pratap and other security sleuths were also present.

 

Pedda Sesha Vahanam Takes Place





The Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva took place in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple in Tirupati on Wednesday evening as part of the first day of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam.

 

After two years, the processional deities took celestial ride on the giant serpent vahanam along the Mada streets blessing devotees.

 

Both the senior and Junior Pontiffs of Tirumala, Spl Gr DyEO Smt Parvati, AEO Sri Durgaraju and others were present.

Akkineni Nagarjuna is presently starring in a high-octane action entertainer The Ghost under the direction of creative director Praveen Sattaru. Sonal Chauhan is playing the leading lady opposite Nagarjuna in the film.


Meanwhile, the team has completed a crucial shooting schedule in Dubai. High intense stunt sequences, some important scenes and a romantic song was filmed in this schedule. Being made on lavish and grand scale, in terms of its visuals, locations, top-notch technicalities, and other grandeur, The Ghost is going to offer a holistic experience of movie watching to movie buffs. Particularly, the action sequence canned in the desert will be the major highlight among all the stunt sequences of the movie.

As we can see in these posters, both Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan will be seen as Interpol officers in the movie. The Ghost also features Gul Panag and Anikha Surendran in important roles.

Narayan Das K Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar are producing the film on Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment Banners.

519th Vardhanti Of Saint Poet Observed with Religious Fervour









The hill town of Tirumala reverberated to the melodious rendering of Annamacharya kritis on the occasion of the 519th vardhanthi of the Saint poet on Tuesday evening.

 

The artists of the Annamacharya Project presented the seven precious gems out of 32000 incredible Sankeertans penned by Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya during his 95-years life span.

 

During his Anugraha Bhashanam on the occasion, the Pontiff of Ahobila mutt Sri the 46th Jeeyar Srivan Satakopa Sri Ranganatha Yateendra Mahadesikan Swamiji said Sri Annamacharya took the Deeksha of 32 Beejakshara Mantra from Ahobilam and penned 32000 Sankeertans. He lauded TTD for organising the Annamacharya Vardhanti in a big manner every year.

 

Later the successors of the Annamacharya dynasty were felicitated on the occasion.

Special Programs for Annamacharya Fete



The 519th Vardhanti Mahotsavam of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya commenced in Tirupati with Sapthagiri Gosthi Ganam at Annamacharya Kalamandiram on Tuesday.

 

Later Harikatha Parayanams followed.

 

While in the evening at Mahati Auditorium the Mangaladhwani and classical dance mused the audience.

Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam for Ugadi Performed







The Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam in connection with Telugu Ugadi was performed at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on Tuesday.

 

The Tirumanjanam was performed as a prelude to the Ugadi festival that occurs on April 2. All the utsava idols were temporarily removed from the sanctum sanctorum and the Mula Virat was provided with a waterproof covering before the priests carried out the cleansing rituals.

 

An aromatic herbal mixture of refined camphor, sandalwood powder, vermilion, turmeric and other ingredients that act as disinfectant was applied to all the walls and pillars inside the sanctum sanctorum as well as at other sub-temples inside the temple complex.

 

Employees took part in the cleaning ritual that lasted for about four hours. After 12-noon darshan resumed for pilgrims.

 

Prominent among those who took part in the ritual included Additional Executive Officer A.V. Dharma Reddy, Deputy EO Sri Ramesh Babu, VGO Sri Bali Reddy, temple Peishkar Sri Srihari.
