Darshan for The Aged and Physically Challenged from 9th April

 The online quota for the month of April for the physically challenged and aged people will be release by TTD on April 8 at 11 am.

 

This category of darshan was dispensed with by TTD a couple of years ago following Covid Pandemic. As the situation now turned to normalcy, the darshan for the aged, differently-abled and devotees suffering from chronic diseases is set to resume from April 9 onwards.

 

However, the pilgrims falling under this category have to book in online to avoid the inconvenience of darshan. On Fridays they will be provided darshan at 3pm while remaining days at 11 am.

 

The devotees are requested to make note of this.

 

ANGAPRADAKSHINA:

 

TTD has also announced the postponement of the issuance of Angapradakshinam tokens from April 2 instead of March 31 following technical and administrative reasons.

 

The devotees will be allowed for Angapradakshinam from April 3 onwards. The tokens will be issued on April 2 at 2pm in the counters at PAC 1 in Tirumala. Every day 750 tokens will be issued.

 

On Fridays no Angapradakshinam due to Abhishekam and tokens will not be issued on Thursdays.

 

The devotees are requested to make note of this and co-operate with TTD.


All Set For Ugadi Celebrations at TTD Local Temples


TTD has made all arrangements for Sri Shubakrita Nama Samvatsara Ugadi celebrations at local temples in around Tirupati on Saturday with special pujas and programs.

 

AT SRI PADMAVATHI AMMAVARI TEMPLE, TIRUCHANHOOR

 

TTD is organising a special Snapana Tirumanjanam in the afternoon and thereafter a Pushpa Pallaki vahana Seva on mada the streets followed by Panchanga sravanam at night.

 

Similarly, Abhishekam and Asthanam is performed at the Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple in the morning hours.

 

AT SRI GOVINDARAJA SWAMY TEMPLE

 

TTD is organizing special suprabatham, koluvu and Panchagavya Shravanam with Archana in the morning followed by Ugadi Asthanam.

 

AT SRI KODANDARAMA SWAMY TEMPLE

 

Ugadi Asthanam and Panchanga Shravanam are organized in the evening followed by the offering of festival silks by Tirumala pontiffs.

Matsya Jayanthi Celebrations at Nagalapuram Temple on 3rd April


TTD is organising an imposing fete of Matsya Jayanti at Sri Veda Narayanswami temple in Nagalapuram on April 3.

 

As part of the fete after daily Kainkaryams, the utsava idols of Swami along with His consorts will be taken on a procession in Tiru Veedi Utsavam (Matsya Jayanti) is performed in the morning.

 

Thereafter Shanti Homam, Snapana Tirumanjanam is conducted in the afternoon and Garuda vahana Seva in the night.

 

SRI RAMA NAVAMI ASTHANAM ON APRIL 10:

 

TTD is performing Snapana Tirumanjanam to the utsava idols of Sri Sitarama Lakshmana Sameta Hanuman in the morning followed by Sri Ramanavami Asthanam.

 

The devotees will have a devotional feast of Sri Sitarama Kalyanam in the afternoon and also blessed by all of them in a procession on temple Mada streets in the evening.

 

House Sites to TTD Employees in Three Months

 TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Thursday said the credit for fulfilling 30 year long pending aspirations of TTD employees for owning house sites in Tirupati goes to the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

 

Accompanied by the local MLA Sri Bhumana Karunakar Reddy he handed over a cheque for 61.63 crore towards land cost to Chittoor District Collector Sri Hari Narayan on Thursday evening at Sri Padmavati rest house.

 

Speaking on the occasion the TTD Chairman said that upon the request of local MLA Sri B Karunakar Reddy and state minister Sri P Ramachandra

Reddy besides his personal request the AP CM had responded favourably and directed officials to identify land for house sites free of cost and expedite the matter.

 

The officials identified the land of 300.22 acres in survey no 42 of Padiredu forest village suitable for house sites for 5518 TTD employees but anticipating objections the TTD board was advised to pass a resolution to that effect.

 

The TTD chairman said the house sites were decided way back in 2008 October and in 2010 July dips were conducted on seniority basis for allotment of house sites and apartments.

 

However the issue was raised in Supreme Court and to ensure against legal hurdles the TTD board advised employees to set up a model house building society, he said.

 

He said since it was difficult for employees to pay up such huge amount the TTD board has made the goodwill payment for sake of employees and the employees were expected to reimburse the amount to TTD as per rules and regulations.

 

He said on behalf of the employees the TTD would take possession of the land and commence the development works and soon the house sites would be allocated to the employees.

 

Sri B Karunakar Reddy, Tirupati MLA said in view of legal hurdles and even though the AP CM desired to allot cost free housing sites to TTD employees a nominal amount shall be collected on allotment.

 

He urged the TTD employees not to cut across issues and ensure to get housing plots at earliest and commence house-building activities.

Venkatadri - A Citadel of Motherhood - Swami Ramyananda Bharati






Pontiff of Rayalcheruvu Peetham Mata Ramyananda Bharati Swamini said that the Venkatadri hill ranges is the centre for women empowerment and citadel of motherhood.

 

Participating in the 519th Annamacharya Vardhanti fete at Annamacharya Kala Mandiram, in her blessing speech, the Mataji said while Vakulamata was the cause of Sri Venkateswara to reside in Sheshachala hills and similarly Anjana Devi was responsible for Anjaneya birth in the sacred hill ranges.

 

The highlight of the vardhanti celebrations was the stage play of Sri Anjanadri Hanumad Vibhavam and that Anjaneya was worshipped equally by Vaishnavites and Saivites.

 

The other hallmark of the celebrations was the portrayal of women vidushis from the Vedic period including Aditi by Dr Nagarajyalakshmi of Guntur, Arundhati by Dr Viralakshmi of Tanuku, Anasuya by Dr Annapurna, Lopamudra role by Dr Jayanti Savitri of Tirupati, Renuka by Smt Kanaka Durga of Nuzividu and finally Gargi role by Smt Vandana of Tirupati.

Goshalas Stepping Towards Self Empowerment - TTD Board Chief









Go puja, Go Samrakshana, Go Adharita Vyavasayam, financial aid to Goshalas etc. are a series of activities initiated by TTD as a part of its noble mission to save Desi Cows, said TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy.

 

Speaking on the valedictory of Two day Go importance programme in SVETA in Tirupati on Thursday evening, the Chairman said the TTD is now focussing on developing Goshalas towards self-empowerment.

 

He said 45 Model Goshala organizers and 65 Natural farmers took part in the two-day seminar to learn new and important things about the uses of Go Adharita Vyavasayam.

 

Later the Chairman also visited the stalls and learnt from the stall operators about the products put for display, marketing possibilities etc.

Hamsa Vahanam Takes Place





As part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple in Tirupati, the processional deity took a celestial ride on Hamsa Vahana to bless His devotees along four Mada streets on Thursday evening.
