 Sri Kodanda Rama in Siva Dhanurbhangalankaram took a ride to bless His devotees.

 

As part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple in Vontimitta at YSR Kadapa district, Sri Rama in the guise of this alankaram reminded devotees of the celestial wedding episode wherein Sri Rama cracked down the bow of Lord Siva to marry Sita Devi in Swayamvaram.

Konetiraya Shines on Swarna Ratha














As part of the annual Vasantothsavam festivities, Sri Malayappa Swami accompanied with His two Consorts took a celestial ride on Swarna ratham and blessed devotees all along four Mada streets encircling Tirupati temple on Friday morning.

 

Tirumala reverberated with Govinda namams as thousands of Srivari devotees dragged the Swarna Ratham ahead of arriving at Vasantha Mandapam for Snapana Tirumanjanam.

 

Later in the afternoon devotees were enthralled as an imposing Snapana Tirumanjanam fete was performed.

 

Tirumala pontiffs Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyarswami and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyarswami, State minister Sri Venugopala Krishna, TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, DyEO Sri Ramesh Babu, VGO Sri Bali Reddy and others were present.

Director General Of Bureau Of Energy Efficiency Meets TTD Eo



In recognition of the environment protection drive by TTD, the Government of India has offered to support the pilot green power generation center promoted at Tirumala.

 

In this connection, TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy met Sri Abhay Bakre, Director General of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency at Sri Padmavati Rest House in Tirupati on Friday morning.

 

TTD officials explained the BEE officials over the consumption of solar energy at the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasadam Center for preparation of Anna Prasadam and also about wind power generation at Kakulakonda .

 

The BEE representatives informed TTD EO about the selection of Tirumala as pilot project for alternative power generation and that an expert team will be sent soon to study prospects of green power generation at Tirumala.

 

Following the proposals by TTD after consultation with the visiting experts committee, the BEE will approve all financial, technical and other assistance and forest support to the TTD, the BEE representatives said.

 

TTD JEO ( Education & Health) Smt Sada Bhargavi, SE Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, DE( electrical) Sri Ravishankar Reddy were present.

 

₹ 30 Lakh Donated


Guntur based devotee Smt Hemalatha has donated Rs. 30lakhs to SV Pranadana Trust of TTD.

Along with her son Sri Srikanth he has handed over the DD to Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy at his camp office in Tirumala on Friday.


Astabandhana Balalaya Maha Samprokshanam Concludes





The Astabandhana Balalaya Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple located in the First Ghat Road concluded on Friday.

 

TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, Chief Priest Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu, Agama Advisor Sri Mohana Rangacharyulu, Sri Bava Narayanacharyulu, VGO Sri Bali Reddy were also present.

 

Foundation Laid for Ghee Plant at TTD Goshala









TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy on Friday laid foundation stone for desi cow  Ghee making plant at SV Goshala in Tirupati.

 

Speaking on the occasion the TTD Chairman said from May 1 last onwards TTD commenced use of organic products for Srivari Naivedyam for which 60 kgs of ghee were required.

 

Thereafter TTD board decided to use desi cow ghee only for Srivari Naivedyam for which they needed 4000 litres of cow milk and also decided to buy desi cows and also received few desi breeds as donation.

 

He said the ghee plant being built at a cost of ₹3 crore was donated by Mumbai based AFCON Ltd and will be ready by 8-9 months.TTD would gather 4000 liters of desi milk of which 60 kgs of ghee will be prepared and given to Srivari temple.

 

The firm manager Sri Swami,Goshala Director Dr Harinath Reddy, Dr Venkat Naidu, Director of Animal husbandry extension wing were present.

 

GODS INVOLVED IN POLITICS- CHAIRMAN

 

Responding to media queries on the devotees crush crowds at Tirupati TTD Chairman said opposition parties and yellow media were dragging even Gods into controversy.

 

He said though there was crowd crush at Tirupati during issue of SSD tokens the situation was resolved within hours and officials taken a quick decision and all devotees were allowed to Tirumala without any tokens.

 

Instead of appreciating the TTD for its quick response for bringing the situation to normalcy so soon, the opposition parties and a section of media were conspiring for creating panic but devotees were cooperative and understood the situation, he added.

 

He said had not such incidents had occurred during TDP regime and has not compartment gates crushed then ?

 

TTD chairman said on directions of Honourable AP CM Sri Jaganmohan Reddy TTD is trying to provide hassle-free Srivari Darshan but these vested elements were striving to throw mud and criticism at TTD wantedly.

 

He said for the convenience of devotees TTD is already operating two Anna Prasadam centres and one more on the anvil besides providing milk, snacks and other Anna Prasadam and also drinking water to devotees in the queue lines and compartments.

AP CM Offers Silks to Vontimitta Kodanda Rama Swamy










The Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy on behalf of the state government offered Pattu Vastrams to Vontimitta Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy on Friday evening on the auspicious occasion of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam.

 

After darshan of the presiding deity, he was offered Vedaseervachanam by temple priests followed by the presentation of Sesha Vastram, dry flower technology laminated photo of Sita Rama and theertha Prasadams.
