Complete Jammu Sri Venkateswara Swmay Vari Temple by Year End - TTD Chairman

 

 TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy has directed officials to complete the construction works of Sri Venkateswara temple coming up at Majin village near Jammu by this year-end.

 

During his inspection at the work site, the Engineering officials explained him the status of ongoing works.

 

Officials said the majority of granite products like pillars etc. for the temple were expected to arrive from Kotappakonda in Guntur district while other materials have been locally procured.

 

TTD Chairman instructed the officials to prepare an action plan and stick to work schedule.

Akhanda Balakanda Parayanam on 21st April

 


The Eighth edition of Akhanda Balakanda Parayanam will be observed in Nada Neerajanam platform at Tirumala on April 21 between 7am and 9am.

 

A total of 134 shlokas from chapters 33 to 37 will be rendered by the Vedic scholars, faculty of all Vedic institutions related to TTD in Tirupati and Tirumala apart from National Sanskrit University.

 

For the sake of global devotees, TTD will live telecast the recitation on SVBC.

Pushpayagam Held at Vontimitta

 

 Annual Pushpayagam was held with religious fervour in Sri Kodanda Ramalayam at Vontimitta in YSR Kadapa district on Tuesday evening.

 

This fete was observed between 6pm and 9pm where in several tonnes of traditional, ornamental flowers and leaves were used to render Pushpabhishekam to the processional deities.

 

The devotees witnessed this unique fete with utmost veneration.

 

Temple special officer Sri Ramaraju, AEO Sri Subramanyam, Superintendent Sri Venkatesaiah, Temple Inspector Sri Dhananjaya and archakas were also present.

DO SERVICES TO PILGRIMS WITH UTMOST ATTENTION

 

 With the pilgrim rush turning to normalcy post covid conditions after two years, TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy asked the officials to render services to pilgrims with more attention.

 

Addressing the officers meeting virtually, the EO directed the concerned Heads to be more attentive while discharging their duties as the pilgrim influx has increased both at Tirumala and local temples in Tirupati and will continue till the summer vacation concludes.

 

He also asked all the heads to bring back their staff who were withdrawn during Covid Pandemic.

 

The EO instructed that all departments should make necessary arrangements at queue lines, compartments etc.

 

DHWAJAVAROHANAM PERFORMED

 

The annual Brahmotsavam at Vontimitta Sri Kodanda Ramalayam culminated with Dhwajavarohanam on Monday evening.

 

The sacred Garuda flag which was hoisted on the temple pillar was lowered amidst chanting of Vedic mantras by archakas as per the tenets of Pancharatra Agama. All the deities were thanked for their participation in the successful conduct of Navahnika Brahmotsavams.

 

Temple DyEO Sri Ramana Prasad and others were present.

 

On Tuesday, April 19, Pushpayagam will be performed.

 

Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata Mass Song Shooting In A Massive Set

 

 Mahesh Babu's highly anticipated movie Sarkaru Vaari Paata is in last leg of shooting. Directed by Parasuram, the film's shoot is presently happening at RFC in Hyderabad, where a mass song is being filmed. With this, entire shoot of the movie will be wrapped up.

Music sensation S Thaman provided different and chartbuster album for the film. As of now, two songs of the movie were released. The song currently being filmed on Mahesh Babu, Keerthy Suresh and dancers is a groovy and mass number. Sekhar master is overseeing the choreography of the song, where we get to see mass dances of Mahesh Babu. Art director AS Prakash erected a massive set for the song.

As the shooting nears completion, the team will be coming up with back-to-back updates, as part of promotions.

Keerthy Suresh is the leading lady opposite Mahesh Babu in the film jointly produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment and 14 Reels Plus banners.

R Madhi handles the cinematography, while Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor and AS Prakash takes care of art department.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata will have its grand release worldwide on May 12th.
