TTD Suspends Asst.Technician for Broadcast of Other Channels - AE Given Show Cause Notice

TTD has suspended a Grade-1 Assistant technician Sri P Ravi Kumar, holding him responsible for broadcasting three other channels on Five LED screens of at Tirumala on April 22 between 5.12pm and 6.12 pm.

While the suspension orders of Ravi Kumar were issued on Sunday show cause notice was also issued to Sri AVV Krishna Prasad, Assistant engineer of the Radio & Broadcasting wing of TTD.

TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy reacted strongly on the incident and directed the CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore to investigate and submit a report immediately.

In this connection, the vigilance officials inspected the footage in the control room at Asthana Mandapam and Command Control Room and CC cameras of PAC-4 and also other concerned TTD employees.

They identified that Assistant Technician Ravi Kumar and his friend Gopikrishna entered the TV section control room of Radio and broadcasting wing. It was identified that when all the staff members left Gopikrishna had alone remained in the control room till 5.28 pm during the period in which the incident occurred.

Thereafter suspension orders were slapped on Ravi Kumar and show cause notice was issued to Assistant Engineer AVV Krishna Prasad.

Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple Bhashyakarla Utsavam from 26th to 5th May

The annual Bhashyakarla Utsavam in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple in Tirupati will be observed from April 26 till May 5.

Every day there will be Bangaru Tiruchi procession at 7:40am followed by Chinna Mada Veedhi Utsavam in the evening between 5:30pm and 7pm. Later Pedda Mada Veedhi Utsavam takes place.

On May 5 Sattumora will be observed.
