Great Gesture by TTD for the Well Being of Humanity - Mathura Swamiji on Akhanda Parayanam

 The Akhanda Sampoorna Sundarakanda Pathanam held by TTD at Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham in Tirumala on Sunday with a noble aim to protect the entire humanity from the ill effects of Corona and bless the people with peace and prosperity has received overwhelming response from devotees across the country as well overseas.

 

A few devotees who participated in this Parayana Yagna shared their opinions on the Parayanam. In their words...

 

"Performing Sampoorna Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanam itself is a great task. That too with a noble intention of seeking the divine blessings for the well-being of the entire humanity, TTD has done this Parayana as a Yagana which is commendable, said Guru Sri Raja Ram Pandey, a devotee from Mathura of Uttar Pradesh.

 

He also complimented the TTD for its recent initiatives in safeguarding Desi Cows like Go puja, Navaneeta Seva, Govinduniki Go Adharita Naivedyam, Veda Parayanam inside the temple, construction of temples in backward areas etc. "I have been coming to Tirumala for the past three decades. But the recent dharmic activities by TTD taken up as a part of protection of Hindu Sanatana Dharma are really appreciable", he expressed.

 

Another devotee, Smt Prabha from Palakollu said, "We are a team of housewives who regularly recite Sundarakanda chapters everyday. After seeing the promo on SVBC about the Akhanda Parayanam, I came all the way from my native place along with my neighbours to Tirumala only to take part in this Parayana Yagnam. It was really a divine experience and our sincere thanks to TTD management for organising such a unique spiritual event", she said with ecstasy. 

 

Smt Vasanta from Chennai said, I have been attending almost every Akhanda Parayanam organised by TTD at Nada Neerajanam platform. And today, it was totally a unique experience to participate in the Sampoorna Akhanda Sundarakanda Parayanam in the green precincts of Dharmagiri Veda Peetham", she maintained.

 

Following the SVBC Promos in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi channels on the Parayanam, devotees from various parts of the country participated in the Parayanam sitting in their houses. The SVBC also received scores of appreciation messages from Srivari devotees hailing from US, Australia and other countries also. 

 


Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Vari Temple Amaravathi from 5th to 9th June

 TTD is organising the Maha Samprokshana fete of the newly built Sri Venkateswara temple at Amaravati from June 5-9 with Ankurarpanam on June 4.

 

As per the schedule of five-day celebrations, the rituals of Shobha yatra, Punyahavachanam, Acharya Ritwick Varanam, Mrutsangrahanam and Ankurarpanam will be performed between 6.30pm and 7pm of June 4.

 

On June 5 morning rituals of Punyahavachanam, Raksha Bandhanam, Akalmasha Homam, Akashi Mochanam and Panchagavyadhivasa will be performed. In the evening rituals of Agni Prathishta, Kalasasthapana, Kumbha Avahanam Kumbha Aradhana, Ukta Homams will be conducted.

   

The Vedic programs slated on June 6 includes Kumbha Aradhana, Ukta Homams, Nava Kalasa Snapana, Ksheeradhivasam and Yagashala programs in the evening.

 

On June 7 Punyahavachanam, Kumbha Aradhana, Chaturdasha Kalasha Snapanam, Jaladhivasam rituals followed by Homa and Yagashala events will take place.

 

On June 8, Ratna Dhatu Adhivasam, Kumbha Aradhana,Homas followed by Vimana Kalasa Sthapana,Gopura Kalasa Sthapana, Ratnanyasa, Dhaatunyasa,Vigraha Sthapana will be done followed by Snapana Tirumanjanam. Later in the evening Maha Shanti Tirumanjanam and at night Kumbha Aradhana, Nivedana, Sayanadhivasam, Vishesha Homas and yagashala programs will be observed.

 

After four day long Agamic events, on June 9 at Mithuna Lagnam between 7.30am and 8.30am, Prana Pratista and Maha Samprokshanam will be performed followed by other Vedic rituals like Akshata Rohana, Archaka Bahumanam etc. It will be followed by Dwajarohanam and Sarva darshanam.

 

In the evening TTD will organise a grand Shanti Kalyanotsavam and Dwajavarohanam events and sarva Darshanam to devotees.

 




Brahmotsavams of Hyderabad Temple from 6th to 10th June


TTD is organising the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Venkateswara temple at Himayatnagar in Hyderabad from June 6-10 with Ankurarpanam fete on June 5.

 

The important days includes Dwajarohanam on June 6, Shanti kalyanam and Garuda Vahana in June 8, Rathotsavam on June 9 and on June 10, Chakra Snanam, Pushpa Yagam and Dwajavarohanam will be observed.

Sampoorna Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanam Concludes

 With the spiritual fervour touching the sky, the Sampoorna Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanam concluded on Sunday night amidst the rhythmic chanting of shlokas.

 

The Akhanda Parayana Yagnam continued for nearly 16hours without break. The vedic pundits were divided into four groups and all the 2800 odd shlokas were recited on rotation basis.

 

The Prayer Hall in Dharmagiri was decked up to match the occasion with the deities if Srivaru with Sridevi and Bhudevi on one side, Sri Sita Lakshmana Anjaneya sameta Rama on another side and Rukmini sameta Sri Krishna on another side.  The dioromas of Anjaneya at different places stood as special attraction.

 

The entire premises of Dharmagiri reverberated to the rhythmic rendition of Akhanda Sundarakanda Parayanam by Vedic Scholars and devotees.

 

At the beginning and at the end of this spiritual event Annamacharya Project artistes rendered Hanuman Sankeertan and Bhajan. Later the program concluded with Mangala Harati.

Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanam for the Well Being of the Global Humanity - TTD Eo

 The Akhanda Sampoorna Sundarakanda Pathanam is aimed at peace, health and prosperity of entire humanity, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.


The unique one-day spiritual event commenced at 5.30 am in the Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham on Sunday and lasted for almost 18 hours without break.

 

Participating in the event the TTD EO told media persons that as per puranic legends pleased with the penance by Anjana Devi in Tirumala, Hanuman was born with the blessings of Vayudeva. The fact that Anjanadri Tirumala is the birthplace of Sri Anjaneya Swamy was published by TTD in a book after year-long research and compilation of epigraphical, puranic and geographical evidence.

 

He said TTD has organised Hanuman Jayanti festivities at the Sri Bala Anjaneya - Anjadevi temple at Akashaganga and a five-day Abhiseka Mahotsavam was conducted there.

 

Similarly, Bhakti sangeet and dharmic programs were also held at Nada Niranjanam platform and Japali in Tirumala from May 25-29.

 

The EO said the Sundarakanda in epic Ramayana comprises 2800 odd shlokas in which Anjaneya narrated his exploration of Sri Lanka in search of Sita Devi which took him 18 long hours. Similarly, the Vedic pundits performed the parayanam from morning 5.30am which lasted till 11pm.

 

He said the entire program has been live telecasted by SVBC for the benefit of global devotees. Lakhs of devotees participated in this unique Parayanam sitting at their homes and chanted the Shlokas. "Even the devotees from the US, Australia and other countries forwarded their messages of participation in the programme", he maintained.
