Pediatric Intensivist Post Interview

TTD will be conducting walk-in interview for the post of Pediatric Intensivist for Sri Padmavathi Children's Heart Centre on April 20.

The walk-in interview for this post of a two a year contract will be conducted at 2pm in the hospital premises.

SSD Tokens at Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam, Bhudevi Complex

TTD has brought some changes in the issuance of SSD and DD tokens to devotees in Tirupati.

The devotees who wish to trek along the Alipiri Footpath route will be issued tokens in Bhudevi Complex alone. After getting the tokens, they will have to scan the tokens at the 2083rd step at Alipiri Footpath, failing which will not be provided darshan.

Similarly, the devotees who received Divya Darshan (DD) tokens at Bhudevi Complex are eligible for darshan only if they reach Tirumala through Alipiri Foot Path route and not the other footpath or by other means of transportation.

Whereas, the devotees trekking Srivari Mettu Footpath will be issued tokens at the 1240th step in that route as usual.

For the devotees reaching Tirumala by road, Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) tokens will be issued at Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam and Govindaraja Swamy Choultries in Tirupati.

The devotees are requested to make note of these facilities and guidelines and plan their pilgrimage to Tirumala accordingly.

Bhashyakarula Utsavam Commences

The Bhashyakarla utsavam commenced in Tirumala on Sunday and the processional deity of Saint Ramanujacharya dressed in Golden Kavacham was taken on a procession on Tiruchi along four Mada streets.

Divyaprabandha Gosthi was rendered by Jeeyangar Swamijis and their disciples on this occasion.

As Sri Ramanujacharya has penned Sri Bhashyam, he was also known as Bhashyakarla varu.

Sri Bhashyam is considered as one of the most important texts of the Sri Vaishnava tradition.

Tirumala pontiffs Sri Pedda Jeeyangar and Sri Chinna Jeeyangar Swamijis also took part in this religious fete.
