TTD Employees Take Pledge to Keep Tirumala Environs Clean adn Hygiene

 The slogan, "Sundara Tirumala-Suddha Tirumala"  will henceforth be observed every month involving the strong workforce of TTD keeping the Tirumala environs clean, green and hygiene for the sake of the multitude of visiting devotees, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.


Addressing the TTD employees who are deputed to perform Shramadan (voluntary cleaning service) along with Srivari Sevaks at different parts in Tirumala at Asthana Mandapam on Monday the EO said, TTD is not a corporate institution or any industry to close the doors if someone goes on a lightning strike without prior notice and will never yield to such blackmailing tactics.


"Be the officers, or employees or sanitary staff,  all our salaries are being paid by the offerings made by the devotees coming from different parts of the country and across the globe in Srivari Hundi. Everyone should keep in mind that devotees and pilgrims are our "Pratyaksha Daivam ''(visible divine) and it becomes our foremost responsibility to serve them with dedication. I really appreciate the services of the workforce of TTD who joined hands and rose up to the situation during the time of crisis without causing any hindrance to devotee services, he asserted.



The EO also said, "The Father of Nation-Mahatma Gandhi" stood a role model for "Swachchta" and he always cleaned the premises himself, hence today the logo of Swachch Bharat is the spects of Mahatma. Taking this inspiration, henceforth, every employee should work for a day in a month in the Sundara Tirumala -Suddha Tirumala programme", he maintained.


Later a pledge was administered on Sundara Tirumala-Suddha Tirumala.


Later, the EO extending thanks said, "My heartfelt thanks to all the Srivari Sevaks, especially Sri Bheem Reddy and his team from Kurnool who have come voluntarily to offer exclusively sanitation services on learning the news about the lightning strike of sanitary workers in the media in Tirumala.


Besides the JEOs, District Collector, SP, TMC Commissioner have also offered their support and mobilised manpower withdrawing sanitary staff from nearby areas of Chittoor, Tirupati, Sri Kalahasti, Nellore, Kadapa etc. and deployed in Tirumala to overcome the crisis at the need of hour. The Collector has even participated in the cleaning programme. I thank them all for their solidarity", he added.


JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, Health Officer Dr Sridevi, PRO Dr T Ravi, Estates OSD Sri Mallikarujuna and other top officials of TTD from various departments, HoDs, employees were also present.


TIRUMALA MEDIA ALSO PARTICIPATES


Extending their solidarity to the TTD's Sundara Tirumala-Suddha Tirumala, the representatives of both Print and Electronic Media working in Tirumala have voluntarily participated in the programme and cleaned the premises at the Press Club area, SMC, SMGH and other surrounding places. 













Samuhika Shramadanam Program on 13th May - TTD Eo










After the stupendous success of the Sundara Tirumala-Suddha Tirumala mass cleaning programme by TTD employees in Tirumala, Samuhika Shramadanam is fixed on May 13 to make Tirumala a plastic-free environment with employees, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.


During a meeting held with all HoDs of TTD, Principals, Medical Superintendents along with District Collector Sri Venkatramana Reddy and SP Sri Parameshwar Reddy at Seva Sadan 2 in Tirumala on Monday evening, the EO thanked all the employees for their team spirit in executing cleaning and sanitation works in the last two days.


With the same spirit, the EO called upon the HoDs and employees to gear up to make both ghat roads and footpath routes of Tirumala plastic free. ''Let us all participate in a four-hour long Samuhika Shramadanam to clear the plastic waste. On both Ghats nearly 500 and footpath routes nearly 1000 employees will render services on that day", he maintained.


He also said a lot of sulabh workers have joined back their duties on Monday and almost everyone will return in next couple of days. "But this Shramadana Yagna will continue every month as it has received overwhelming support across the country and TTD has become a role model. So we should take forward the Swachch slogan pioneered by Mahatma Gandhi by cleaning premises in Tirumala on our own once in a month", he reiterated.


The Suddha Tirumala movement has instilled inspiration among devotees also who are approaching TTD to provide them a chance to clean the precincts, he maintained.


Later all the district top brass officials spoke on the occasion besides media representatives who also participated in the Suddha Tirumala voluntarily.

Padmavathi Pariyanotsavam Concludes

he three-day annual celestial wedding ceremony of Sri Padmavathi Pariyanotsavam concluded in Tirumala on Monday evening.


Earlier the processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi entered the finely decked Parinayotsava Mandapam on Garuda Vahanam and Tiruchis separately.


After observing Edurkolu, Varana Mayiram, Poobantata and other Hindu marriage traditions, the deities were seated on the tastefully decorated swing in Parinayotsava Mandapam located in Narayanagiri Gardens.


The devotees were mesmerized to see the divine wedding ceremony on the pleasant evening. 


Deputy EO Sri Lokanatham, Garden Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu and other officials, huge number of devotees were present.


Hanuman Jayanthi Festivites from 14th May to 18th May





The Hanuman Jayanti festivities will be observed in Tirumala from May 14-18 and the devotional events should impress the devotees in a big way said TTD JEO (H&E) Smt Sada Bhargavi.


During a review meeting held at her chamber in the Administrative building in Tirupati on Monday with all HoDs, the JEO said the programmes will be organised at Anjanadri Akasaganga, Nada Neerajanam by artists of all projects of TTD.


Religious discourses with eminent scholars have also been arranged. SVBC will live telecast the program for the sake of global devotees.


CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, Vedic Versify VC Sri Ranisadasiva Murty, National Sanskrit University VC Sri Krishnamurthy, HDPP Secretary Sri Srinivasulu, All Projects Program Officer Sri Rajagopal, Annamacharya Project Director Sri Vibhishana Sharma and others were also present.
