JC Participates in Sudha Tirumala












The Joint Collector of Tirupati district Sri Balaji participated in the cleaning activity programme in Tirumala on Tuesday.


Speaking on the occasion the JC said he is fortunate to take part in the cleaning program at the sacred hills. "The programme Sundara Tirumala-Suddha Tirumala has been mulled by TTD to serve the pilgrims without any hindrance is really appreciable. In fact it has set a role model to others also to keep their premises clean and hygienic", he maintained.


The JC cleaned the entire area of Narayanagiri Gardens along with TTD employees and Srivari Sevaks.


TTD JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi led the cleansing activity on Tuesday in Tirumala with the TTD workforce on deputation and Srivari Sevaks.

Ksheeradhivasam Observed













The Mahasamprokshanam rituals on Tuesday witnessed Ksheeradhivasam at Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Seetampeta of Manyam district.


On May 3, Vimana Kalasa Sthapana, Vigraha Pratista will be observed between 8am and 12noon. On May 4, Maha Samprokshanam and Kalyanotsavam will be observed.


The cultural programmes including Kolatam and Bhajana have been attracting devotees to a great extent.

Koil Alwar Tiurmanjanam at Nagagulapuram Temple



In connection with annual brahmotsavams in Sri Veda Narayana Swamy temple from May 4-12, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was observed on Tuesday.


On May 3 Ankurarpanam will be observed while the annual fete commences with Dhwajarohanam on May 4.


Garuda Seva is on May 8, Rathotsavam and Kalyanam on May 11, Chakra Snanam on May 12.

Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was held at Tiruchanoor temple on Tuesday in connection with annual Vasanthotsavams between May 4-6.

Come Out With Concrete Action Plan for Samuhika Shramadanam on 13th May - TTD Eo






The TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on Tuesday directed the officials concerned to come out with a concrete action plan for performing "Samuhika Shramadanam" on May 13. 


During a review meeting held at his chambers in TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Tuesday, the EO said the programme is mulled to make Tirumala a Plastic-free zone. Drawing inspiration from the sanitary works carried out by the TTD employees along with the srivari sevaks who voluntarily took part in the Sundara Tirumala-Suddha Tirumala programme, Samuhika Shramadanam has been conceptualized. 

   

The EO discussed in length on the requirement of materials to be given to the staff who are to be deployed for the community cleaning programme in both the Ghat roads and footpath routes. "Come out with a minute plan over the requirement of the staff, materials to be given to them including gloves, masks etc.along with cleaning materials, and the food and water arrangements to be made to them.

 

He also said, enough vehicles need to be pressed into service to transport employees and srivari sevaks to the duty spots in ghats and footpaths. Similarly to transport the waste to the dumping yard vehicles should be arranged", he added.


"Divide each ghat into four sectors and appoint one senior officer as in-charge of the area. A committee with both the JEOs, CVSO, SE 2, Health Officer, PRO, GM Transport and DyEO HR has been appointed to supervise the works.
