Hindu Dharma Prachara in Agency Areas by TTD is A Great Initiative - Visakha Seer








The construction of Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Agency and backward areas is a great initiative taken by TTD as a part of its Hindu Dharma Prachara activity, said Visakha Sarada Peetham Pontiff Sri Swarupanandendra Saraswathi Swamy.


The Seer took part in the Vigraha Pratista programme as part of the Maha Samprokshana rituals being held at Seetampeta Srivari temple in Manyam district on Wednesday.


Speaking on the occasion, the Pontiff said, to avoid religious conversions in the Agency and backward areas by other faiths, TTD has taken up the construction of Srivari temples in different parts. "In Paderu, Araku and other tribal areas, nearly 40 temples were constructed. Similar temple is all set commence at Seetampeta from May 4 onwards. Similar temple is also coming up in Rampachodavaram next week. "The rituals and festivities during the time of brahmotsavams in the Seetampeta temple will be performed by the Sarada Peetham", he added. He also complimented TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, local legislator Smt Kalavati for making the temple happen in the remote village.


Later TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam speaking on the occasion said, upon the instructions of the AP Government, the Srivari temple was built in a 4-acre sprawling area at Seetampeta. Those who could not visit Tirumala, shall have darshan of Sri Venkateswara in their place itself. A kalyana mandapam has also been constructed for the sake of devotees, he maintained. 

Vigraha Sthapana Held















The vigraha pratista event took place in a religious manner at Seetampeta of Manyam district on Wednesday.


As part of this Bimbasuddhi, Ratnanyasam, Dhatunyasam, Vigraha Stapana events held.


On May 4, Maha Samprokshanam ei take place in the auspicious Vrishabhalagnam between 7:30am and 8:30am.


From 10am onwards darshan will commence for devotees. Srinivasa Kalyanam will be observed from 4pm onwards.


JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, one of the chief priests of Tirumala temple Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu, TTD Vaikhanasa Agama advisor Sri Mohana Rangacharyulu, Kankanabhattar Sri Seshacharyulu, SEs Sri Satyanarayana, Sri Venkateswarulu, DyEOs Sri Gunabhushan Reddy, Sri Venkataiah, VGO Sri Manohar and others were also present.

The Chekka Bhajana and Kolatam programmes infused devotional spirit among locals on Wednesday.

E-Scooter Donated



A BGAUSS C12i Max electronic vehicle worth Rs. 1.08lakhs was donated to TTD on Wednesday.


Sri Ravi of Gayatri Automotive, Tirupati handed over the vehicle keys to temple Dyeo Sri Lokanatham in front of Srivari temple after performing special puja to the two-wheeler.


DI Tirumala Sri Janakirami Reddy was also present.

Pushpanjali at Vengamamba Brindavanam



The 293rd Jayanti utsavams of Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba will be oberved in a befitting manner by TTD on May 4 in Tirumala.


After Pushpanjali at Vengamamba Brindavanam at 4.30pm, Sri Malayappa Swamy along with His two consorts reaches Narayanagiri Gardens at 6pm where Gosti Ganam follows.


Visakha Sarada Peetham Pontiff Sri Swarupanandendra Saraswathi Swamy along with the Junior Pontiff Sri Swatmanandendra Swamy will render religious discourse on the occasion.


Patra Pushpayagam in Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple on 5th May



The Ankurarpana for Patra Pushpa Yagam will be observed at Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on May 4.


On May 5, the unique Patra Pushpa Yagam will be conducted in the temple between 10am and 12noon.

Pournami Garuda Seva on 5th May



The monthly Pournami Garuda Seva will be observed in Tirumala on May 5.


Sri Malayappa will parade along four mada streets on Garuda Vahanam between 7pm and 9pm to bless the devotees.
