Yagnas All Round The Year By TTD - TTD JEo(H&E)

Henceforth TTD will observe Yagnams and Vratams(sacred rituals) all the 365 days in a year and the officials concerned should come out with an action plan and gear up for the same, said JEO(H&E) Smt Sada Bhargavi.

A review meeting was held by the JEO in her chambers in TTD Administrative building in Tirupati on Thursday on the Manuscripts Project. Speaking on the occasion, the JEO directed that officials should make arrangements for Homa Gundams and seating arrangements for 150 people. She said the SVBC has to telecast all these rituals live for the sake of global devotees.

She also said, the programme updates should be uploaded in all the social media networks of TTD after recording them in Vedic University Studio by this May end. "For NAAC recognition, NEP and syllabus framing shall be completed during the summer vacation. The university should also plan for online classes in the evening", she maintained.

On the progress of the Manuscripts Project, she said, out of 5000 bundles, the scanning of 3500 have been completed and the remaining should also be finished within next couple of months. She also reviewed on the progress of the ongoing Nakshatra Vanam works with the engineering officials.

SVBC CEO Sri Shanmukh Kumar, Vedic University VC Sri Ranisadasivamurty, Registrar Sri Radhesyam, EE Sri Mallikharjuna Prasad and others were present.

Annamacharya Jayanti Fete

The 615th Jayanti fete of Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya will be observed in big manner by TTD at Tirupati and Tallapaka from May 6-12.

Narasimha Jayanti Special Puja Observed

In connection with the Vaisakamasa Utsavams, on the auspicious occasion of Narasimha Jayanti on Thursday, special puja was performed at Vasanta Mandapam in Tirumala.

As part of this, Srivaru graced on Simha Vahanam while, Purana Pundit Sri Ramakrishna Seshasai explained the importance of Narasimha Avatara and later Narasimha Namavali and Sudarshana Narasimha Namavali were rendered.
