The monthly Pournami Garuda Seva was observed with religious fervour on Friday evening at Tirumala.
Sri Malayappa in all His divine splendour blessed devotees all along the four mada streets on the mighty Garuda Vahanam.
HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar and HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamis of Tirumala, DyEO Sri Lokanatham, VGO Sri Bali Reddy, Parupattedar Sri Uma Maheswara Reddy and other staff, devotees participated.
TTD JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi on Friday lauded the students of various TTD-run Junior Colleges for having scored the highest marks in the Inter.
The students of both first and second-year Intermediate from SV Junior and SP Junior colleges met the JEO in her chambers TTD Administrative Building.
The JEO, while appreciating, advised the students also to prepare for the competitive exams and gave them the books. She also lauded the Principals and lecturers of both the colleges for guiding the students in a proper way to achieve high scores and instructed them to continue the same spirit and chalk out an academic action plan for training the pupils.

The parents of the students who scored highest marks expressed their gratitude to TTD and especially to JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi for having shown keen interest in improving the quality of education in all the TTD educational institutions and DEO Sri Bhaskar Reddy for properly executing the instructions of JEO to achieve good results.
Along with the DEO, SP Junior College Principal Smt Bhuvaneshwari, SV Junior College Principal Sri Prakash Babu were also present.
On the second day morning as part of the ongoing annual Vasanthotsavams in Tiruchanoor, the procession of Swarna Ratham was held with utmost religious fervour on Friday.
The gold chariot carrying Sri Padmavathi Devi in all Her spiritual splendour was pulled by devotees all along the four mada streets.
TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, DyEO Sri Govindarajan and other temple staff were also present.
