TTD Eo Reviews with Archakas and Agama Advisors
TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao on Monday evening reviewed on several temple-related rituals, practices as per tenets of Vaikhanasa Agama, religious functionaries and related subjects.
Along with JEOs Smt Goutami, Sri Veerabrahmam, Agama Advisors, Pradhana Archakas, Tirumala temple staff were present in the review meeting.
Earlier Pradhana Archakas Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu, Sri Krishna Seshachala Deekshitulu, Sri Govindaraja Deekshitulu of Tirumala temple briefed EO on various rituals and Kainkaryams being performed in Tirumala as per the tenets of Vaikhanasa Agama.
The Archakas suggested EO to think of giving apprenticeship to Vedic students of Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham which would help them to build their career.
They also sought the EO to perform Visesha Puja at least once in a year, the Weekly Seva which used to be performed on Mondays as Arjita Seva.
Later Sri Sreenivasa Deekshitulu of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati, brought to the notice of EO to enhance Prasada Dittam which was reduced during Covid period and still continuing.
The Agama Advisors informed EO their role and how they function in safeguarding the ancient traditions and customs, ensuring that the rituals are not deviated.
After these two meetings, the EO also Reviewed on Srivari Anna Prasadams along with the temple and potu officials.
Agama Advisors Sri Mohanarangacharyulu, Sri Seetaramacharyulu, Sri Ramakrishna Deekshitulu, temple DyEO Sri Lokanatham, Potu Peishkar Sri Srinivasulu and others were present.
Committee with Senior Officers on Sanitation
Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness of the entire premises of Tirumala is one of the top most priorities of TTD, asserted TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao.
The EO held a detailed review meeting with the Health Department of TTD along with JEOs Smt Goutami and Sri Veerabrahmam at Gokulam Rest House in Tirumala on Monday.
He discussed on various issues related to manpower, sanitary materials, staff performance, mechanisation and many others.
Earlier the Sanitary Inspectors informed the EO about various shortcomings which included...
Deficiency in performance due insufficient manpower in the extended work area.
Improper supply of sanitary materials on time and supply of sub standard cleaning materials by the Agencies entrusted with sanitation contract.
After listening carefully to the various issues, the EO directed both the JEOs to give stern warning to the contractor and give three days time for improving cleaning measures in Tirumala by providing sufficient manpower and material supply as per norms.
He also ordered JEO to Constitute a Committee with Senior Officers to inspect randomly after three days and give a detailed report on sanitation to take further course of action on the Sanitation Agencies.
"Tirumala, besides being most sought after pilgrim place in the world, also holds the reputation for its clean environs inspite of tens of thousands of footfall everyday. If Tirumala precincts are not kept clean and tidy, it reflects bad image to the institution which cannot be tolerated. All the issues and requirements needed to strengthen the department shall be taken care of by the management but the Health wing officials should ensure effective supervision especially in the areas where pilgrim interface is more", he asserted.
The EO also asked the officials concerned to assess the mapping of area wise and shift wise requirement of workers required in Tirumala and submit the list to address the manpower issues.
FACAO Sri Balaji, SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, DyEO Health Sri Harikrishna, Health Officer Dr Sridevi, EE FMS Sri Srinivasa Rao, Sanitary Inspectors and other staff from Health Department were also present.
