The traditional temple cleansing fete, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam in connection with Anivara Asthanam will be observed in Tirumala temple on July 9.

The temple staff clean the entire premises of the temple including roof, walls, ceilings, pillars, puja materials from 6am to 10am with an aromatic mixture called Parimalam.

TTD has cancelled Astadala Pada Padmaradhama seva in connection with this fete.

The Anivara Asthanam will be observed on July 16 in Tirumala temple.

Koil Alwar For Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams Held

The temple cleansing fete, koil alwar tirumanjanam in connection with Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram was observed on Thursday.

The annual Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams are scheduled between July 10 and 12.

Special Grade DyEO Smt Varalakshmi, AEO Sri Gopinath and others participated in this traditional temple cleaning ritual.

On the occasion of the 127th Birth Anniversary of the great freedom fighter, TTD has paid tributes at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati on Thursday.

SVU research scholar Sri Ramesh Babu in his keynote address said, Alluri was best remembered for leading the Rampa Rebellion against the British in which he organised the tribal people of Vishakhapatnam and East Godavari districts to revolt against the British government. He sacrificed his life for the sake of his motherland at an young age. He is always remembered and revered for his act of bravery and is the pride of Andhras, he added.
