Chandi Yagam Commences in Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple
As a part of the Homa Mahotsavams, Chandi Yagam commenced in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on Sunday.
This Homam will last for nine days.
In the morning Nitya Homam, Chandi Homam, Laghu Purnahuti were performed while in the evening Chandi Parayanam, Sahasra Namarchana and Visesha Homam were performed.
DyEO Sri Devendra Babu, Grihasta devotees and other staff were present.
Kaisika Dwadasi Asthanam on13th November
Kaisika Dwadasi Asthanam will be observed in Tirumala on November 13.
On this day, the Ugra Srinivasa Murthy will be paraded along the four mada streets before the sunrise between 4.30am and 5.30am.
It is only on this day that the deity comes out of the temple. During other festivals and religious events, it is Sri Malayappa Swamy who blesses His devotees.
Trail Run Held
The trial run of Panchami Thirtham Sare procession was held on Sunday from Komalamma Satram to Tiruchanoor temple.
The divine items that would be offered to Goddess Padmavati will be usually brought from Tirumala every year on the last day of Sri Padmavati Brahmotsavams.
The same was replicated on Sunday.
