Artists Show Case Skills Braving Rain



























The second day witnessed the artists exhibiting their skills in front of Pedda Sesha Vahanam braving the showers in Tiruchanoor on Friday.

A total of 12 cultural troupes consisting of 272 artists from various places presented different art forms that included Bharatanatyam, Fusion Classical Dance, Siva-Ganga Nrityam, Veera Natyam, Chekka Bhajana and Kolatam.

The students of Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance presented the wonderful Ksheera Sagara Madhanam episode portraying various characters of Asuras, Devatas, Mandara Parvata, Vasuki, Kalpa Vriksha, Chandra, Maha Lakshmi, Kurma and many more which enthralled the devotees.

SVCMD Principal Dr Uma Muddu Bala and others were also present.

Special Abhishekam Held to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy












Special Abhishekam was performed to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, on the first ghat road in Tirumala on Friday.

The fete was conducted following the advent of Swathi Thirunakshatram, the Birth Star of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in the auspicious month of Kartika.

Snapana Tirumanjanam Held


















The beauty of Goddess Sri Padmavati enhanced with decorations of garlands made of peacock feathers and lotus seeds during Snapana Tirumanjanam.


The special Abhishekam was held  on Friday noon between 12:30pm to 2:30pm in Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam.

Seven types of garlands were changed during each phase of Abhishekam rendered with different types of aromatic ingredients.

The Mandapam appeared as an Earthly Paradise with colourful flowers and fruits designed as a galaxy to host the religious event.

JEO Smt Gountami, Garden Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu, Superintendent Sri Ramesh and others were present.

Devotional Books Inaugurated








On the second day as a part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor, devotional books printed by TTD were inaugurated on Friday.


TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao released these books at Vahana Mandapam during Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva.

The books included Kavya Prabandhalalo Adhyatmika Kathalu-visleshana by Sri Erra Pragada Ramakrishna, Betala Panchavimsati by Acharya Remilla Venkata Ramakrishna Sastri, Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Jeevana Charitra by Acharya T. Viswanatha Rao, Upadesatrayam by Sri Vavilikolanu Subbarao.

TTD EO felicitated the authors on the occasion. Annamacharya Project Director Dr Vibhishana Sharma, Sub-Editor Dr Narasimhacharyulu were also present.

Women Employees Offers Sare







Women employees of TTD offered Pattu Saree to Sri Padmavati Devi at Tiruchanoor on Friday.

For quite some time during the annual Karthika Brahmotsavam they have been offering the Sare.

JEO Smt Goutami, spouses of various department chiefs, women staff took part.

Stern Action Against Deviation




The news of a person named Valluri Vamsinadh Reddy shooting a photo in front of the Tirumala Srivari Temple has went viral on social media.


Going into the details, on Thursday, the said person after completing his VIP break darshan took a photo shoot with four personal photographers in front of the Srivari temple.  

The TTD sleuths noticed and told him not to shoot photos in front of the temple by sending them away from there and went off to their duties.

However, the person came back again after some time and took a photo shoot and hurting the sentiments of the devotees.

Taking a serious note on this the TTD Vigilance and Security Department is contemplating of taking legal action against his attitude.

Hamsa Lakshmulu Stands Unique
















The second evening on Friday witnessed the performances of 256 artistes hailing from a Dozen troupes.


The various artistes showcased their dancing expertise in front of Hamsa Vahanam and charmed the devotees.

Hamsa Lakshmulu, peacock dance, kailkutti kali, folk dance, Garagallu and many other interesting dance themes were displayed on the occasion.
