Devotees Cheer Elaborate Arrangements for Annual Fest by TTD

TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the annual Navahnika Karthika Brahmotsavam at Tiruchanoor with a special attention to the procession of the most important carrier Gaja Vahana Seva held on Monday evening at Tiruchanoor.

During the procession of the divine elephant carrier, TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao interacted with the devotees about the arrangements.

The devout gave a big thumbs up for the grand arrangements of illumination, flower decoration, barricading, annaprasadam, sanitation and especially to colourful art forms in front of each vahana seva by TTD.

Cultural Fusion During Gaja Vahanam

Its a night of cultural fusion in front of Gaja Vahana Seva on the pleasant night of Monday.

The ongoing annual Brahmotsavam at Tiruchanoor witnessed an array of artistes performing different dance forms and making devotees thoroughly enjoy the cultural fanfare jn front of Gaja Vahana seva.

On one hand the folk dance forms like Banjara, Keelugurralu, Maturi enhanced the spirits while classical notes like Kathak, Kerala Drums by girls, Manipuri allured the devotees.

The Kolatam by the students of SV Balamandiram, Astalakshmi Vaibhavam portrayal by the students of SV College of Music and Dance of TTD were an added attraction to the cultural fusion.

A total of 13 troupes consisting of 268 artists performed various art forms in front of Gaja Vahana Seva under the aegis of the HDPP wing of TTD.

Maa Padmavati Rides her Favorite Gaja Vahanam

Sri Padmavati Devi took out a celestial ride on Her favourite Gaja Vahanam on the pleasant evening of Monday.

The Utsava deity in all Her celestial elegance and majesty decked with dazzling jewels coupled with glittering Pattu Vastrams swiftly moved atop Gaja Vahanam along the four mada streets blessing Her beloved devotees.

The devotees who swarmed to witness the grandeur of the Universal Mother on the mighty Gaja Vahanam shouted Govinda Govinda... Om Sri Padmavati Devaiy Namaha...with religious ecstasy

The Vahanam lasted till late night along the four mada streets.

Both the Pontiffs of Tirumala, TTD Board Chairman Sri BR Naidu, EO Sri J Syamala Rao, board member Smt Suchitra Ella, Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Sridhar, DyEO Sri Govindarajan and other officers were also present.

Among other important dignitaries local legislator Sri Pulivarti Nani, District Collector Sri Venkateswarulu, SP Sri Subba Rayudu and others were present.
