Chandra Prabha Vahana Seva Held
The seventh evening, Chandraprabha Vahana seva proceeded along four mada streets amidst gentle showers as if cheering the grandeur of the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Padmavati Ammavaru.
The artforms like Mohiniyattam, Nasik Dolu, Thalam dance, Kadapa drums and many more were performed with 246 artists belonging to 12 teams exhibited their skills and enthralled the audience braving continuous downpour.
Goddess Glittered in Govardhana Giridhari Alankaram on Surya Prabha Vahanam
On the seventh day of the ongoing Sri Padmavati Ammavari Kartika Brahmotsavam at Tiruchanoor Wednesday morning the devotees were blessed by in Goddess in Govardhanagiridhari Sri Krishna alankaram on Suryaprabha Vahanam.
The Goddess blessed the devotees in the four Mada streets of the temple amid the chanting of mangal Vadhyams and the chanting of devotees ran from 8 am to 10 am.
Lord Surya is the manifest of Narayana. The Upanishads state that Srimannarayana, who is with Lakshmi, emerges from under the sun mandala.The darshan of Amma in Surya Prabha Vahana bestows the fruits of health, wealth, prosperity, wisdom etc.
Tonight Goddess Sri Padmavati will grace devotees on Chandraprabha Vahanam.
RATHOTSAVAM ON DECEMBER 5
On the eighth day of S Brahmotsavam, Ammavari Rathotsavam will be held in splendour on Thursday at 8 am. All the devotees who have worshipped the mother prepare their chariots as she will gloriously with the retinue of Alamelu Manga Sakaldevata adorned with all the ornaments. Also, Amma will ride on Aswa Vahana at night.
Tirumala pontiffs Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyangar, and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyangar, EO Sri J. Shyamala Rao, JEO Sri Veerabraham, Deputy EO Sri Govindarajan, temple priests Sri Babu Swamy, other dignitaries and a large number of devotee were present
Padmavati Chills as Durbar Krishna
Sri Padmavati Devi in the Alankaram of Durbar Krishna blessed Her devotees on Chandraprabha Vahanam.
The very sight of Durbar Krishna on the celestial moon carrier provided a chill-thrill to the devotees.
Both the Tirumala pontiffs, EO Sri Syamala Rao, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEO Sri Govindarajan and others were present.
Pejavar Seer Offers Prayers in the Tirumala Shrine
HH Sri Sri Vishveshaprasanna Teertha Swamiji, Peetadhipathi of Sri Pejavara Mutt, Udupi, Karnataka offered prayers in the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara on Wednesday.
He was accorded a traditional welcome amidst the chanting of Veda mantras. Addl EO Sri Venkaiah Chowdary, Temple DyEO Sri Lokanadham welcomed the pontiff of Pejavara peetham.
