Only Devotees with A Darshan Tokens Are Allowed for Darshan - TTD

TTD has begun making elaborate arrangements for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan at Tirumala Temple from January 10 to 19 next year to celebrate Vaikuntha Ekadasi, one of the most important religious events of Srivari Temple.

In this context, TTD has taken some decisions giving priority to common devotees to have Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan.

Some of the important decisions taken by TTD in the context of Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan

- Only devotees with darshan tokens/tickets are allowed for darshan. Devotees without tokens will be allowed to Tirumala but not allowed for darshan.

- Privilege darshans including Parents with infants, Aged and Physically disabled, defence, NRI darshans stands cancelled during these ten days.

- VIP break darshans are cancelled for 10 days except for protocol celebrities.

- Allow the maximum number of devotees to have Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan by reducing queue lines

- There will be no special darshan arrangements for devotees wearing Govinda Malas. Only devotees with darshan tokens/tickets are allowed for darshan.

- Devotees are advised to reach the queues according to the allotted time slots on their tokens or tickets to avoid waiting.

- Ex-MPs, Ex-Bureaucrats, Ex-Chairmen of TTD are not allowed for Dwara darshan on Vaikuntha Ekadasi. From January 11 to 19 they are allowed for darshan.

- The services of 3000 young Srivari Sevaks besides scouts & guides will be utilized for the management of queues during these ten days.

Devotees are requested to keep the above points in mind and cooperate with TTD.

The hour long live phone in program by TTD EO with the devotees ''Dial your EO'' is scheduled on December 28.

The program will take place between 9am and 10am at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala wherein the pilgrims from different places speak directly to the TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao and give their feedback on various issues.

The SVBC will telecast the program live for the sake of global devotees.

Pontiff of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt of Mantralayam Offered Prayers inTirumala

Visit of HH Shri Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji of Raghavendra Matha, Mantralaya offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara inside Sri Vari Temple, Tirumala on Saturday morning. On his arrival at Tirumala, TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao, JEO JEO Sri Veerabrahamam and Temple priests of Sri Vari temple received his holiness with temple honours in front of the temple.

CVSO Sri Sridhar, Temple DyEO Sri Lokanadham, Parpathyedar Sri Himathgiri and others were also present.
