TTD Chairman Gives Ex-Gratia








TTD Chairman Sri B R Naidu visited to see the critically and partially injured devotees who are undergoing medication at SVIMS superspecialty hospital on Saturday evening and paid them the cheque of ex-gratia.


Among the devotees, Smt Timmakka of Annamaiah District, Smt Eswaramma of Vizag were paid a cheque for Rs.5lakh each.

While among those who received Rs. 2 lakh cheque each consisted of Smt Narasamma, Sri Raghu, Sri Ganesh, Sri Venkatesh, Sri Chinna Appayya of Annamaiah district.

Earlier a meeting was held wherein the legislators of Chandragiri Sri Nani, Sri Sudheer Reddy of Sri Kala Hasti, Sri Bhanuprakash Reddy of Nagari were also present.

Among officers, TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, Collector Sri Venkateswar, SVIMS Director Dr RV Kumar were present.

While distributing the cheques, board members Sri Bhanuprakash Reddy, Sri Shantaram, SVIMS Medical Superintendent Dr Ram and other public representatives were also present.

RANGANATHA SWAMY DECORATION AND MYSORE PALACE ILLUMINATION ATTRACTS DEVOTEES

The special floral and electrical decorations made by TTD this year for the auspicious Vaikuntha Dwara Vaikuntha Ekadasi immersed the devotees in devotional wibes.

Starting from GNC circle to the temple, the light decorations stood as a cynosure. The diaromas of Sri Maha Vishnu, Sri Lakshmi Devi, Viswam in electrical illumination provided a feast to the eyes of devotees.

While, the Ranganatha Swamy decoration erected in front of Tirumala temple by the Garden Department of TTD casted its magic on the devotees. Scores of devotees visited this colourful and captivating decoration and captured the beauty of the deities made out of tonnes of flowers and fruits. Deputy Director of Garden Department Sri Srinivasulu the entire set-up was contributed by a donor and the decorations were made by florists from Bengaluru besides the TTD garden staff.

TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu, EO Sri Syamala Rao also appreciated the floral and electrical arrangements made on the special occasion.



PROCESSION OF SWARNA RATHAM HELD

The procession of Swarna Ratham was held with utmost religious fervour in Tirumala on Friday.

On the auspicious day of Vaikuntha Ekadasi, Sridevi Bhudevi sameta Sri Malayappa Swamy was seated atop the mammoth Swarna Ratham. 

Devotees, especially the women devotees including women employees dragged the golden chariot chanting Govinda...Govinda... along the four mada streets with spiritual ecstasy. 

Board member Smt Suchitra Ella, Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary and others participated.





DEVOTEES THRONG TIRUMALA FOR VAIKUNTHA DWARA DARSHANAM

The Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam on the auspicious day of Mukkoti Ekadasi was observed with a religious fervour in Tirumala on Friday.

The Dwara Darshanam began at early hours of the day after Abhishekam. The officials commenced the darshan for devotees half an hour earlier much to their satisfaction. The entire Tirumala reverberated to the divine chants of Govinda ... Govinda and the religious ecstasy of devotees overflowed every where.

SPECIAL DARSHAN

As per the instructions of the Honourable CM of AP, Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu, the TTD authorities made special darshan arrangements to the injured of Tirupati stampede incident on Friday. The devotees after Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam expressed immense happiness and thanked the CM, TTD Chairman and authorities for providing them the most wanted Mukkoti Darshanam.

PRIORITY TO COMMON DEVOTEES-ADDITIONAL EO

As per the instructions of the Honourable CM of AP Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu priority is given to the common devotees. We have commenced sarva darshan to the common devotees as per time schedule. The devotees who were injured in the Tirupati stampede incident were also provided Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan by making special arrangements, he maintained. We ensure that the devotees who have booked the Darshan slot today will be provided hassle free darshan, he added.

TTD BOARD CHIEF CLARIFIES

TTD Trust Board Chief Sri B R Naidu, reacting to social media clips making his statement viral has clarified that his remarks were made with an intention that there is no need to respond to everyone's comments.

TTD Chairman said that it is not appropriate to attribute my comments to Deputy Chief Minister Sri Pawan Kalyan.

''My comments were not directed at Sri Pawan Kalyan. Immediately after the stampede incident, I apologized to the families of the deceased devotees via media even before the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and the Ministers, he reminded.

TTD ANNOUNCES RS 25 LAKH EX-GRATIA TO FAMILIES OF VICTIMS OF SARVA DARSHAN TOKENS STAMPEDE INCIDENT

 The TTD board has condoled the death of six devotees who died in the stampede at Bairagi Patteda and Vishnu Nivasam counters on the night of 8th January in Tirupati set up by TTD as part of providing Vaikuntha Ekadashi Vaikuntha Dwara darshan to Srivari devotees.

The TTD board held an emergency meeting on Friday evening at the Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala.

In the subsequent media conference, TTD Chairman Sri. BR Naidu said that the incident happened on Wednesday night has shocked everyone.   ''We all pray for the peace of the holy souls of those who died in this unfortunate incident'', he said.

As per the instructions of Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, we have decided to give Rs.25 lakhs as ex-gratia to the families of those who died, Rs.5 lakh to those seriously injured and Rs.2 lakhs to those undergoing treatment.

Similarly, our board has decided to provide free education to the children of the deceased in TTD educational institutions, the Chairman maintained.

TTD board members Smt Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy,  Smt Suchitra Ella announced Rs.10 lakhs each while Sri.  M S Raju Rs. 3 lakh as personal financial assistance to the family members of the deceased, said the TTD Chairman.
