Adhyayanotsavams Concludes with Tanniramudu







The Adhyayanotsavams in Tirumala temple concluded with Tanniramudu on Thursday.


On Friday evening, Sri Malayappa flanked by His two consorts visits Tirumala Nambi temple after Sahasra Deepalankara Seva.

Meanwhile, as a part of this traditional fete, the archakas performed Abhishekam to the sacred feet of Mula Virat with Akasa Ganga waters and rendered the Tirumozhi Pasurams penned by Sri Tirumala Nambi in the temple.

Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala and temple staff were present.

Koil Alwar Tiurmanjanam on 28th Jan




The religious temple cleaning ritual of Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be observed on January 28 in Tiruchanoor.


The entire temple, sub-temples and puja utensils are cleansed with Parimalam mixture from 6:30am till 9:30am on that day.

The temple authorities have cancelled Kalyanotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on that day.

Rallapalli ANanta Krishna Sharma Contribution to Annapacharya Sankeertans Impeccable - Scholars









The great contributions of Sri Rallapalli Ananta Krishna Sharma in bringing out the works of Saint Poet Annamacharya to the public was impeccable said scholars.


The 133rd Jayanti fete of renowned scholar Sri Rallapalli Ananta Krishna Sharma was observed under the aegis of All Dharmic Projects of TTD on Thursday.

Rallapalle holds the credit of having translated the great works of Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya on the Copper plates and was an expert at both Sangeeta and Sahitya, advocated Smt Rallapalli Deepta, the grand daughter of the late legendary personality.

The 133rd Jayanti fete was held at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati on January 23.

Scholars Sri Gouripeddi Venkata Shankara Bhagavan, Sri Sorakayala Krishna Reddy also paid literary tributes on the occasion with their speeches.

Annamacharya Project Director Sri Rajagopal, Program Assistant Smt Kokila and others were also present.
