Teppotsavams will be conducted in a grand manner at the Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, Tirupati, from December 29 to January 2.
During the five-day Teppotsavam celebrations, on the first day, December 29, Sri Vinayaka Swamy and Sri Chandrasekhara Swamy will take nine rounds on the sacred waters of the temple pushkarini.
On December 30, Sri Subramanya Swamy along with Valli and Devasena will take nine rounds.
On December 31, Sri Somaskanda Swamy will take nine rounds.
On January 1, Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru will take nine rounds.
On January 2, Sri Chandikeswara Swamy and Sri Chandrasekhara Swamy will take nine rounds on the float and bless the devotees.
Every day, Unjala Seva and Teppotsavams will be held from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
On January 3, on the occasion of the Arudra Darshana Mahotsavam, the Utsava idols of Sri Nataraja Swamy, Sri Sivagami Ammavaru and Sri Manikyavasagar Swamy will be taken in a procession along the mada streets from 6 am to 9 pm.
As part of the Teppotsavam celebrations, devotional songs will be rendered every day under the auspices of the TTD Annamacharya Project.

Vertice Global Private Limited, Hyderabad, represented by its Director Sri Sridhar Boddupalli, on Wednesday donated Silver Max half blades worth Rs. 1.20 cr, sufficient for one year’s requirement, to TTD.
The donor handed over the blades to TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu at the Chairman’s Camp Office in Tirumala.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman stated that TTD spends around Rs. 1.16 crore annually on blades used by devotees during hair tonsure.
He said that about 40,000 half blades are used at the Kalyanakattas. He appreciated the donor for coming forward to donate blades sufficient for an entire year, terming it a commendable gesture.
On the occasion, the donor Sri Sridhar Boddupalli said that keeping the needs of customers in mind, their company was the first in the world to introduce half blades.
He noted that these half blades are extremely useful for barbers in performing tonsure at the Kalyanakattas for devotees.
He further informed that blades manufactured by their company have strong demand in 52 countries, including Europe and the United States, and that they also manufacture blades for the well-known 7 O’Clock brand.
Kalyanakatta AEO Sri Ramakanth was present on the occasion.
