Grand Annual Brahmotsvams of Sri Konetiraya Swamy at Keelapatla Spiritual Festivites from 24th April to 3rd May

The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Konetiray Swamy Temple will be celebrated with great devotion and grandeur from April 24 to May 3 at Kilapatla in Gangavaram Mandal of Chittoor district.

Prior to the commencement of the festivities, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be performed on April 21. On April 23, Senadhipati Utsavam and Ankurarpanam rituals will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

During the Brahmotsavams, Vahana Sevas will be conducted daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Kalyanotsavam:

The celestial wedding ceremony (Kalyanotsavam) will be held on April 28 at 4:00 PM. Two devotees can participate by paying ₹500. Participants will be provided with Uttariyam, blouse piece (ravike), and Anna Prasadam.

Pushpayagam:

Pushpayagam will be performed grandly on May 3 at 4:00 PM.

Spiritual Programs:

On the occasion of the Brahmotsavams, devotional music and spiritual programs will be conducted daily under the auspices of TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad, Dasa Sahitya Project, and Annamacharya Project.

TTD has appealed to devotees to participate in large numbers and receive the blessings of the Lord.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is giving top priority to the health, sanitation, and environmental protection for the devotees visiting Tirumala.

With an average daily footfall ranging from 80,000 to 1 lakh pilgrims, sanitation management is being efficiently carried out across an area of approximately 4.5 square kilometers.

Sanitation Management System

To improve sanitation, Tirumala has been divided into three zones and seven wards. As a part of environmental protection measures, plastic usage has been completely banned. Additionally, D&O trade licenses are strictly regulated, and “No Stock – No Godown” licenses are being issued. 

In Ward-1, which covers the Srivari Temple surroundings, sanitation works are carried out directly by departmental staff, while in Wards 2 to 7, sanitation operations are handled by three contracted agencies.

Efficient Waste Collection

To ensure effective waste management:

9 tipper vehicles are deployed

Around 45 trips are made daily

Waste is collected from approximately 3,056 bins. Vehicles collectively travel about 400 km every day.

Drinking Water Supply through Mobile Units

To address the high demand during peak hours, drinking water is being supplied through mobile water tanks by Srivari Sevaks at various crowded locations. With the onset of summer, this initiative ensures that devotees receive drinking water directly without inconvenience.

Monitoring of Water and Food Quality

The TTD Water and Food Analysis Laboratory, established in 1981 and currently accredited by NABL, rigorously tests the quality of food and water supplied to devotees.

Daily testing of ingredients used in Laddu and Annaprasadam preparation.

Around 20 water samples tested daily.

1,000–1,200 samples tested monthly.

Advanced equipment like HPLC and GC used for ghee quality testing.

New advanced Food Laboratory

A state-of-the-art food laboratory has recently been established at a cost of Rs.19.75 crore with support from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). The facility is equipped with advanced technologies such as:

Devotees have expressed satisfaction with the high standards of sanitation services provided by the TTD Health Department. Continuous waste collection, clean maintenance of toilets, and overall hygiene management unmatched elsewhere in the country have been widely appreciated.

Despite the heavy influx of pilgrims, TTD is efficiently managing sanitation, waste disposal, toilet facilities, and food safety, ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all devotees.

తిరుమలలో భక్తుల ఆరోగ్యం, పారిశుద్ధ్యం, పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణకు టీటీడీ పెద్ద పీట వేస్తోంది. రోజుకు సగటున 80 వేల నుండి 1 లక్ష మంది భక్తులు సందర్శిస్తున్న నేపథ్యంలో సుమారు 4.5 చదరపు కిలోమీటర్ల పరిధిలో పారిశుద్ధ్య నిర్వహణ సమర్థంగా కొనసాగుతోంది.

పారిశుద్ధ్య నిర్వహణ విధానం

పారిశుద్ధ్య నిర్వహణను మెరుగుపరచడానికి తిరుమల ప్రాంతాన్ని మూడు జోన్లుగా, ఏడు వార్డులుగా విభజించారు. పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణలో భాగంగా తిరుమలలో ప్లాస్టిక్ వినియోగాన్ని పూర్తిగా నిషేధించారు. అలాగే డి&ఓ ట్రేడ్ లైసెన్సులను నియంత్రించి నో స్టాక్ – నో గోడౌన్ లైసెన్సులను జారీ చేయడం జరుగుతోంది. వార్డు-1లో శ్రీవారి ఆలయం పరిధిలో విభాగ సిబ్బంది ప్రత్యక్షంగా పనిచేస్తుండగా, వార్డు-2 నుండి 7 వరకు పారిశుద్ధ్య పనులు మూడు కాంట్రాక్ట్ సంస్థల ద్వారా నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు.

సమర్థవంతంగా చెత్త సేకరణ

తిరుమలలో చెత్త సేకరణను సమర్థవంతంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు 9 టిప్పర్ వాహనాలు పనిచేస్తున్నాయి. రోజుకు సుమారు 45 ట్రిప్పులు చేసి, సుమారు 3,056 చెత్త బిన్స్ నుండి చెత్త సేకరణ జరుగుతోంది. అన్ని వాహనాలు కలిపి రోజుకు సుమారు 400 కిలోమీటర్ల మేరా ప్రయాణిస్తున్నాయి.

మొబైల్ వాటర్ డ్రమ్స్ తో శ్రీవారి సేవకుల ద్వారా తాగునీరు పంపిణీ

తిరుమలలో భక్తుల రద్దీ అధికంగా ఉండే పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో మొబైల్ వాటర్ డ్రమ్స్ ద్వారా శ్రీవారి సేవకులతో తాగునీరు పంపిణీ చేయడం జరుగుతోంది. వేసవి ప్రారంభమవ్వడంతో భక్తులు తాగునీటికి ఇబ్బంది పడకుండా నేరుగా భక్తుల వద్దకే శ్రీవారి సేవకులు వెళ్లి తాగునీరు అందిస్తున్నారు‌.

నీరు, ఆహార నాణ్యత పర్యవేక్షణ

టీటీడీ నీరు, ఆహార విశ్లేషణ ప్రయోగశాల 1981లో స్థాపించబడింది. ప్రస్తుతం NABL గుర్తింపు పొందిన ఈ ల్యాబ్ భక్తులకు అందించే నీరు, ఆహారం నాణ్యతను కఠినంగా పరీక్షిస్తోంది. ప్రతిరోజూ లడ్డూ, అన్నప్రసాదం తయారీలో ఉపయోగించే పదార్థాల పరీక్షలు, నీటి నమూనాల విశ్లేషణ (రోజుకు సుమారు 20 నమూనాలు), నెలకు 1000–1200 నమూనాల పరీక్షలు, నెయ్యి నాణ్యత పరీక్షలకు ఆధునిక HPLC, GC యంత్రాలు వినియోగంలో ఉన్నాయి.

కొత్త ఫుడ్ ల్యాబ్ ఏర్పాటు

భారత ఆహార భద్రతా ప్రమాణాల సంస్థ ద్వారా ఇటీవల రూ.19.75 కోట్లతో అత్యాధునిక ఫుడ్ ల్యాబ్ ఏర్పాటు జరిగింది. ఇందులో LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, ICP-MS/MS వంటి ఆధునిక సాంకేతిక పరికరాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయడం జరిగింది.

నాణ్యమైన పారిశుద్ధ్య సేవలపై భక్తుల్లో సంతృప్తి
